This review is very likely going to be All over the place because I am really in two minds about this book.

If I put my expectations aside, then I enjoyed the book. These authors are great writers and the story (though a little TOO dark IMO for such a short book) sucked me in and kept me reading.



Unfortunately, I DID have expectations after the first two books, and if you are expecting insta-lust and a hero that is all MINE MINE MINE you are going to be sorely disappointed. I did not like Carter much at all. He basically pushes the heroine away for 90% of the book. The heroine wasn't much better either, she basically let this asshole walk ALL over her for the majority of the book.

I also found this book really dark and depressing. The inner thoughts of both the heroine and hero made ME want to jump off a bridge. In my opinion, the book was way too short to do justice to these characters and the darkness that surrounded them.



Now let's tackle that elephant in the book, the threesome Carter had with Cole/Jade in the previous book. I *thought* the purpose given for that was so he could feel more comfortable having sex so he could go after Quinn and because his an ex made some disparaging comments about his performance that messed with his head. Well first off, since Jade is 9 months pregnant in this book and Carter hadn't made a move of Quinn yet, the threesome seemed a little pointless. What about the ex you say?? Ya, she wasn't an ex, she was a ONS AND the heroines bitch cousin that he did while he was drunk and doesn't really hold her in high regard. He seemed to have NO problem being a manwhore before her, so again, I don't believe that he was SO injured by her words he needed to be invited to f@ck Jade. It felt to me that the authors painted themselves into a corner with that threesome and never explained their way out. *shrug* It also (IMO) hung over the entirety of this book. Carter thinks about it. Carter and Cole talk about it. The heroine finds out about it

As you can see I am very much conflicted over this book. As I mentioned, the writing was good. The plot was interesting, but it failed in my expectations. So taking all that into account, 3.5 stars seemed a fair rating.

Carter and Quinn isn't a conventional pair. Carter is definitely her stalker, but does it to protect her. He is also obsessed about her, but not consider himself good enough to be with her. The painful secret clasped them together. Quinn has problems and only in Carter's presence feels safe. She would like him also in her bed but it is not so easy with him.

“My stalker sneaks into my house and has his way with my sleeping body, and the only part I find upsetting is that he left.”

Charleigh Rose returns to the right path. After the first incredible book, the other doesn't appealed to me. But the third returns to the great tracks. It has quite a few proper plot. We can pretty well know the heroine. And a lot is happening here. It still a mafia theme and you will get some brutal action.

“We are chaotic and messy and not at all pretty… but this is us. This is ours. It’s the best thing that’s ever been mine, flaws and all.”

The sexy scenes doesn't obscure the plot. There are smoking hot and quite rough. Carter and Quinn have an explosive energy among themselves. Carter is not Graham, but still it's pretty good erotica. Perfect for short and fast reading.

Carter Savage was the quiet broody bouncer (among other things) at the club Hot N’ Bothered. He prefers to keep to himself and watch people from afar than making a direct contact including a particular redhead.

Quinn was the sexy bartender at the club. Behind her seductive persona, she harbored a dark past. As much as she tried to run from it, it caught up to her and found a savior when she needed it the most.

I’m not selfish enough to have her. I’m a murderer. A fucked-up arsehole. I don’t deserve her.

Carter intrigued me from the last book. And I actually like his creepy stalker persona lol! He may be in the shadows but he got the job done when needed. I also like how protective he was of Quinn.

Yet again, I have reduced myself to that. The victim. The weak, little woman.

I like how assertive Quinn was. If she wanted something, she was not afraid to get it. But behind the tough exterior she was scarred.

What I like best about this book is the stalker element. It added intrigue to both the hero and the villain. Other than that, the story felt a little disconnected to me. The thing with the mob and her past didn't converge as well as it should be.



The sex scenes were hot but I wanted more of it, especially the kinkiness. My favorite scene is the one when Carter was being a creepy in her bedroom. That was sickeningly hot haha!

Savage Savior is the story of a couple bound by their broken past. It would appeal to readers looking for a darker short sexy read.

500 stars to Carter!

I didn’t expect that I would enjoy this very much because of its predecessors, but Savage Savior was a very different experience than them. It was well balanced; it was steamy without overpowering its decent plot.

Carter and Quinn worked together in Graham Savage’s Hot ‘N Bothered. Quinn was a bartender, while Carter was a bouncer.

Carter liked watching Quinn. He followed her everywhere, watching her through her bedroom window, and even breaking in just to watch her sleep. She made her unconsciously break all his rules and habits. He was obsessed, and he did not understand it. All he knew was that he could never be with her.

Quinn liked being watched, and she always watched Carter back. To her, Carter was different from all the men who ever looked at her, from all those that touched her. It was as if he knew her completely just by looking at her, and Quinn wanted more of him.

Carter was a shadow creeping its way over your body, a stranger in your room that you would be comfortable with watching you. He was dangerous, a mystery you would want to unravel. He was light and darkness coalescing.

The very first thing that you need to know about Carter was that he has OCD. It was said that each novella in this series could be read as a stand-alone, but I suggest that you meet him in Savage Beast first, wherein he was introduced as Cole’s roommate and close friend. He had these adorable habits and preferences, and with Quinn he forgot about them. One of his routines was washing a girl thoroughly before having sex with her. He had to make sure that she was sanitized. He was just so adorable! I loved that I see how his character slowly changed from who he was in Savage Beast. At first, he didn’t talk that much. His face was always stoic, but everyone was used to him that way. Only those close to him understood him well.

Quinn was a broken vessel poorly put back together. She was trying to hold up the pieces of her world together, trying to salvage her future from her death-like past. Now, the grave had opened up beneath her, and the dead she buried are ready to take her back, to cradle her in their rotten arms. Will Carter be able to save her, if all he saw in himself was a monster?

Living in her apartment with her dog Gia, Quinn was trying to build a life for her. She didn’t expect all this to crumble when he father finally found her.

Quinn didn’t care much about how men treated her nowadays. She got used to the how much they wanted her. With a cheerful front to show everyone else, Quinn hid all her truth under a mask.

I love that Quinn was a very strong woman, but at the same time she knew when to call for help. She knew when to let down her pride and let Carter and the Savages deal with her problems. She was very honest with Carter, gradually letting him know about her past. She was not afraid of what he’ll think about her, because she saw that they were very much alike and that he would understand her.

Besides the protagonists of this book, I also adore how the story showed the friendship and family they found through the Savages. Graham, Jade, Cole, and the others were always there to support the couple. They were one huge family that would never let each other down. I admire that about them.

I have a few problems with this book thus the four-star rating. First was that Carter’s past was mostly told abruptly. I didn’t get the chance to feel the emotions that I was supposed to have towards him and his sad childhood. Despite that, I love that he was a very caring person to quit that cycle. You’ll know what I mean when you get to read it. Second was that I didn’t get to read much about his OCD in this installment of the series. I saw more of that in the previous novella. This showed more of how he overcame them.

Overall, I highly recommend this! If you want a quick, hot read that’s a little bit dark, you have to give this book a try.

Carter Savage you creepy ass man. Not only did you shock the hell out of me in this book, you melted my panties, and stole my heart at the same time. That's special. It's usually one or the other, but creepy Carter, you're the whole package!

Quinn, Jessica Rabbit body on a sweet girl, who's got a shitty past. What a combo! I like Quinn because even though she goes through some shite (look I'm a Savage!) she still gets through her days. Plus she solved the puzzle that is Carter, she must be pretty spectacular.

Carter and Quinn are different to say the least. Their pasts are pretty dark. Their presents are pretty quirky, but somehow they come together and are normal. Like they are so similar, but it still works for them. I'm feeling it.



This story was unexpectedly sweet, and it felt more contemporary than the others have. Less taboo even though some uncomfortable things DEFINITELY happen. Carter is truly Quinn's savior and I ate it up. "SAVE ME SAVAGE." The naughty was surprisingly tame, BUT still so damn hot. The angst was high, but quickly resolved... it's a novella, betch. The love story in this one was unique, but it worked for these characters.

Charleigh Rose has done it again. Quick, dirty, and surprisingly swoony.


Side note: I still need more Sin. I said this last time and I meant it, and now all these other fangirls want him and I'm a little tender about it. Can he have a harem? I volunteer :)

so dont get wrong, the book is not dark, at least for my taste. i may say it's safe but dark one safe. and not twisted dark.

Our boy Carter is an Irish bouncer smth I love most, like he hates people, hates to touch, dont know how to talk, sex, communicate, like I-dont-deserve-her or she-deserves-better etc u know this shit.

The girl, Quinn is sweet, not stupid ('till the last chapters...), has a past she running from.

not gonna tell much more about the story. but I can tell a couple of things.

1. storyline was good, 'till the last chapters. is that really necessary? cuz it was not a twist, not a cliffhanger. i got what u wanted to do but find an other way, not cliche, not like we-all-knew-it kind.
on the other hand, she as being smart and acting as clever one was totally great. but again, not her drama queen-ing episodes about last chapter occurrence.

2. story telling... Charleigh Rose needs to get better. i'm not saying it was bad, or ok. just somethimes i couldn't catch the flow. sometimes it was detailed, sometimes it was too quick, or sometimes it was just ok. and switching between povs have to have a purpose. not every I-want-see-from-his/her-perspective.

I will finish this series, and read Rose again, but definitely not book #2 cuz sharing, benefits of starting from end, LOL. I loved every second of staring her like a hawk, following her to home, watching her from outside almost all night, climbing up her balcony, sneaking into her room, making love.

She reaches down to rub her clit and throws her head back in pleasure. Her slender neck is on display, and I want to bite it. Mark it. Wrap my hands around it. So, I do. I squeeze her neck, and she rubs her clit faster, fucking me from the bottom. I pull her up so she’s sitting on my lap, and I use both hands to grip her neck. Quinn covers my hands with her own as I squeeze harder, loving the way her cunt tightens around me. She’s getting off on this just as much as I am, if not more.

CreepyCarter completely ticks all the "Oh Hell Yes!" boxes. But then, I've not met a Savage man that doesn't.

I love that in a way Carter is almost the anti-alpha, anti-hero when compared to Graham or Cole, who are so OTT GRRR-Me-Man (which causes thigh clenches so strong I could crack walnuts!), but he is absolutely still oh so bloody 'Savage'. (and caused just as many thigh clenches to boot!).

Quinn & Carters story was so beautifully broken & I fell completely in love with them both. Two damaged halves make a whole.

Jade continues to crack me the hell up anytime she's on the page - I fricken love that crazy biatch!

Another thoroughly entertaining & captivating read from the CR chicks!

I SINcerely (wink, wink!) hope that Ireland is full of these SAF Mongrel Mobster Men & that they're all getting on a boat immediately! Hell, I'm sure we'll even be happy to head to Ireland to collect them ourselves? Right #BookSisters??!!

It is official - I am in love with Carter. Cole made me laugh, Graham was precision bad ass and unapologetic but Carter stole the show for me in the this installment with his almost naive innocent side mixed with his ultra bad guy 'could be your worse nightmare' mobster. His love for Quinn was so pure and expressed in the only ways he knew how to do so - often from a distance, always protective and constantly with thought. For Quinn's part I was glad to see that after having lived the hell that she has from childhood on, she was still able to see Carter clearly and understand him better than anyone else in his life. Really bummed that this was a novella. This installment really could've been stretched out with all the components of the characters, histories and events going on in their lives to more of a full length book and I would've loved to have seen how they dealt with many things more in depth. Could have used more moments of the two of them together exploring their parameters and negotiation of life. However, a full 5 Stars for this one all in honour of Carter. Loved him, fascinated by him and wanted nothing more than to protect him. Book boyfriend smitten!

Carter is a hero! He's there to protect his Quinn even at the expense of his own sanity. I love how their story allow their souls to fight their destiny. It's a dark path these two walk but there is gold at the end of the rainbow. *Swoon*

Be warned. This story is dark and violent and may contain triggers for sensitive readers. For those readers who dabble in the dark but haven't jumped in with both feet, you will love this story! After reading Carter and Quinn's story, you will jump head first into darkness!

Carter had to be my favourite character! He was fucked up and possessive, my favourite time of alpha. No matter what Quinn was his first priority.

Quinn is a super cool chick! She went through a lot in her life put never went down fighting. Quinn and Carter are my favourite couple from this series, their story was really enjoyable to read and I can't wait for more!!

4.5 Stalker Stars!

There's something special about these Savage men. I devour these short stories, a TWISTED surprise in every little package. It feels like my dirty fix with every new story.

Carter the stalker. My vagina loved his weird ways. My heart loved his protective ways. I laughed and loved every minute with him.

“Why do you follow me, Carter?” My words are barely a whisper, but when my eyes meet his, I know he heard me. “Why do you like it?” he retorts, shocking the hell out of me.

I honestly don't know how this author packs so much emotion into these small books. I loved this one just as much as the first two, yet I didn't get enough. I don't think I could ever get enough. I'm feeling needy in all the right ways. Yet, reading the end had me smiling, I had all the little feels nestled in my dark heart. Begs the question. Could you imagine a full-length novel...

A twisted, laugh-out-loud, sexy installment to the Savage Saga.

I was so excited when I found out Carter was getting his own book. I enjoyed Carter just as much as I did in the previous books. Quinn annoyed me a little towards the end, I thought the other stuff Carter did would have warranted her anger not so much what did finally set her off.

Even from a distance Carter would do anything to protect Quinn and he more than proved that, he truly was her white knight and I liked seeing the softer side of him that only she brings out.

As for Mandy, hated her and loved what Jade did to her!!!

I forgot how much I missed Cole & Jade and hope they are seen in the next book too. I wish Dahlia & Grahamn were more in this book though.

Just like all the Savage books I really enjoyed this one and can't wait for the next one. I'm hoping it's Sins, I'm curious about his motives.

Great addition to the series. I really enjoyed the setting of this series And the characters. This is Carter and Quinn's book. All the books are Novella length, but totally pack a punch. I didn't feel as strong of a connection to the H/h for some reason. I think more of Carter's issues were described in the prior book then in this one. Even so, I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author! I'm so glad I discovered a new author to follow!!

OMG. Savage Savior was the bomb diiggity of all books. Certainly one of the most hottest book of this century. I loved every moment of it. I am a huge fan of Charleigh Rose. They always bring dark, smutt, sexy erotic and taboo books that you just can't help but fall in love with them. Savage Savior is prime example of hot taboo smut with a unique touch and a guilty and seductive pleasure that will seriously give you the best goosebumps.

Savage Savior is about Carter, a bouncer at a club and Quinn, a bartender at the same club. They both have a strange and unique attraction between them but Carter keeps fighting it. I was drawn to this book. The story was so phenomenal and it sill had that air of uniqueness about it that definitely caught my eye. Savage Savior was a story like no other but it had a powerful emotional and intense storyline that gave me so many shivers and chills. There was a dark edge that brought some illicit and beautiful tones that I was in awe. I really loved reading this book. Charleigh Rose always write short smut with a lot of story that sometimes I just quickly devour it. They are just good. Plus they write some hot sex scenes that should be deemed illegal in a lot of countries lol.

Quinn is the epitome of a heroine with a bad past but still have an undeniable and amazing strength that made her such a likable character. Carter was such weird with a unique trait. He was dangerous and alpha with a mix of intensity that made me love him a lot. He was different and I liked that. Both him and Quinn had a charming and yet different and quirky weird relationship that just worked. Their chemistry was off the charts.

Savage Savior was an awesome read. I loved every single thing in the book. I cannot waot what Charleigh Rose comes up with next.

Carter is so creepy stalker that it's downright sexy yeah, I said it! CREEPY STALKER CARTER IS SEXY!!! I honestly don't know how you ladies do it, but each Savage man is hotter than the next you take my mind && make me all crazy for a damn fictional man but you know what CHARLEIGH ROSE! I bleep it all up page after page I'm consumed by your words from start to finish the world doesn't exist when reading about these Savage men!

Carter is so damaged so lost ur soooo perfect him && Quinn need each other there cut from the same cloth beautifully broken! It's like they were waiting for one another soulmates && I personally lap that shit up!

I just don't know ..I wanted a little more . I wanted Carter to be this sexy creepy dude. A total bad ass. For me, his character didn't give off any those vibes. I also didn't feel the emotions I should've felt for someone who had the childhood that he did. I also felt the inner dialogue of both characters was a bit flat. Still, there were parts I did enjoy. I love Charleighrose and those girls better deliver with Sin's book. XO

You know what I love about these authors? Their ability to write some kick ass smoking scenes! They always leave us with the urge of wanting MORE in their stories and they give us just enough of a storyline to satisfy us. But when you throw some dark scenes, you find yourself chomping at the bit to get to the next page.

Quinn hasn’t had a childhood worth talking about . Having a father who used her to his advantage for all the wrong reasons she’s now making her own decisions. Working as a bartender at one of the hottest clubs in New York, Quinn’s life is now pretty simple. She goes to work, have some of the best girlfriends anyone could ever ask for, and a nice little routine. Having eyes for the broody security guard that watches her every move, Quinn is determined to get to know who Carter Savage really is.

“There’s something about that girl that consumes me to the point of madness”.

Carter hates being social with people and having to correspond with them on a daily basis. But there’s one fiery red head that makes him want to throw all of his social etiquette out the window to claim only her. His protectiveness over her safety has him doing things he never thought he would. His determination to make sure she stays away from him? That one was for the record books. Broken in ways he never thought imaginable, Carter will soon realize that maybe staying will be the wrong to do because there’s something he will get in return and it turns out, it’s going to be priceless.

I really enjoyed the majority of this story and I loved how everyone came together. But I did have some issues with it and I think that it maybe it was just me. For fear of spoilers, I won’t go into further detail, but I will say that if you’re a fan of these ladies, you really don’t want to miss out on this one. It was short, sexy, with just the right amount of Darkness to it.
