B. Jeyamohan (also credited as Jayamohan) is one of the most influential contemporary, Tamil and Malayalam writer and literary critic from Nagercoil in Kanyakumari District in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

He entered the world of Tamil literature in the 1990s, Jeyamohan has had impacted the Tamil literary landscape as it emerged from the post-modern phase. His best-known and critically acclaimed work is Vishnupuram, a deeply layered fantasy set as a quest through various schools of Indian philosophy and mythology. His other well-known novels include Rubber, Pin Thodarum Nizhalin Kural, Kanyakumari, Kaadu, Pani Manithan, Eazhaam Ulagam, and Kotravai. His writing is heavily influenced by the works of humanitarian thinkers Leo Tolstoy and Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Drawing on the strength of his life experiences and extensive travel around India, Jeyamohan is able to re-examine and interpret the essence of India's rich literary and classical traditions.

அப்பா முதலில் வழங்கல் துறையில் வேலைபார்த்தார். பின் பத்திரப்பதிவுத்துறையில் எழுத்தராக வேலைபார்த்து ஓய்வு பெற்றார். அவரது பணிக்காலத்தில் பெரும்பகுதி அருமனை பத்திரப்பதிவு அலுவலகத்தில் கழிந்தது. 1984ல் தன் அறுபத்தி ஒன்றாம் வயதில் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டார்.

I have nothing against publishing a collage of blog posts into a book. But, you gotta be upfront about it, so that as a reader I make an informed choice on whether to buy and read it or not. I am not saying that blog posts are inferior to printed materials in anyway, they have their own structure, agenda and everything, more like a discussion initiator. From the description of the book, I got the impression that it was going to be a concise intro on spiritual and philosophic Jesuit thoughts, in the same way Jeyamohan had done it with 'Hindu Gnana Marabugal' book.

Rather, what do we have here is a hurried collection of his articles and a half a dozen responses he got from varied readers.

Jeyamohan shares his experience of Christ & how Christ through various ways reaches out (inform of art - sculptures, architecture, writings of characters based on Christ's influence on other writers) to him. then he touches upon a sensitive topic of how religions deviate from the crux of the principles it's based of. Would the Christ (a shepherd & a carpenter's son) be excited to see an amazing Church built on lavishness/ luxury & the amazing architecture or would he feel more connected to a person who carries him on his daily actions, this thought was very provoking for a reader like me... would I be appreciated by god if I donate for his temple or he would be happy in me helping out a needy?? When I turn my back on a needy what are the chances that it was him asking for my help.. But what choice does a human mind have other than showing appreciation by means of grandeur & Art.. As my thoughts keep extending.. I came to reality as my kid hit me with a toy :-) Maybe god wanted me to keep my thoughts simple & uncomplicated :-P

கிறிஸ்தவ மதத்தின் அடிப்படையை சொல்லும் புத்தகம் என்று நினைத்து வாசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.

ஆனால் கிறித்தவத்தை குறிப்பாக இந்தியாவில் கிறிஸ்தவ மதத்தில் நிகழும் சம்பவங்களை அறிந்தவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ள கூடிய அளவில் மட்டுமே உள்ளது.
