I was hoping for a lot more from this book. How could you go wrong? A book about taboos, it just automatically should be fun and naughty. Unfortunately it seemed to alternate between stories that should have died a long time ago (a hole in a bathroom wall...really?) and some of the most cold and unemotional encounters I've read in a long time. It's just lust for the sake of lust. I'm sorry that I ever checked it out from the library and think it's a terrible waste of an awesome book cover.

Mr. Wolfe is a professional writer of some of the hottest gay porn on the market and this features him at his smoldering best. Serious issues are touched upon but, mainly, what’s being touched are a lot of very hot men. Future dystopias, ghost stories, school fraternities and more form the backdrop for these stories of smoking men and potent sexual tusslings. Whether you like your gay sex with social commentary, religious mania or simply want to get your motor running, this is the book for you. Not too raunchy and backing off from really vicious S&M, this collection focuses on the tender and the tough side of gay love.

This is a collection of stories called "Taboo" as it relates to our perceptions of what is acceptable behavior. It did cover the range of human emotions: jealousy, envy, lust and sometimes even a little happiness. This is the first book I've read in the GLBT genre.
