Just because a girl has the pre-wedding terrors doesn't make her paranoid.

Practicing her new talent of situational awareness, Anabel Axelrod is sensing danger around every corner. With Luke's new enterprises keeping him busy day and night, working in her bookstore is the only thing keeping Anabel from going crazy as she deals with threats to her comfort and future happiness coming from all directions.

First, the new security measures for Anabel's supposed safety are starting to turn her building into a prison--and she's the prized inmate!!

Second, either she's going nuts or a murderous member of the undead is running free around town while a brutal stalker cop has left town to go underground--instead of dead in the ground where he belongs!

Third, Anabel has been served final notice one more broken rule will get her butt kicked from the coveted "Buds for Life" monthly card game with her old high school gang. Meanwhile, a high stakes poker game with a mob boss is scheduled where the usual rules don't apply and her life might be at stake!

Fourth, fifth, and sixth, several dreaded bridal showers loom on the horizon, her wedding on Valentine's Day is approaching faster than a speeding bullet, and the nano-sized spot in Anabel's brain withholding complete trust in Luke is growing into a big, fat, malignant spidey sense of loud-mouthed doubt!

Will Anabel be able to keep her promise to Luke to show up at her wedding, even if she wants to? Will she be there to receive "The Kiss" most women dream of getting their entire single life? Or will Anabel hop the next train to get out of town while she's still sane enough, and alive enough, to make a fast getaway!

Anabel is back and her misfortunes continue in this next installment of The Adventures of Anabel Axelrod.

This book leads off after Anabel's return from Vegas and someone is still out to get her.

Luke is still watching out for Anabel but from a distance while enjoying all the crazy bridal shower parties.

As Anabel tries to figure out why she is so unlucky to have the attention of yet another crazy, she, her trusty Rita, and all the other ninjas are trying to make sure she shows up to her own wedding on time.

This quirky romcom by Ellen Tracy will keep you laughing.

This was an advanced readers copy for an honest review.

Weddings are in the air, and Anabel and Luke are anticipating their big day.

As she works, Anabel keeps hearing a scraping noise coming from the store, and finally remembered that she was supposed to lock up and set the alarm. Peeking in, she saw a shadow outside the door and clicked repeatedly on the cell phone app to engage the lock to no avail. At last she realized she was doing it wrong and tried again, reassured this time by the lock click. Her imagination was going wild as her thoughts bounced all over about what to do next. She knew she had to check out back or she could never fall asleep. Stalking quietly down the dark aisles, the noise came again and someone banged on the window! The back door rattled! She slipped and fell, and fortunately the gun skidded out of sight just as the door opened, the lights came on, and Anna, Chief Jack, and Reg walked in with a bakery box for her. This was not her finest moment . . .

Anabel tells Anna that she still thinks someone tried to break in from the back of the store. Is someone after her? And why is Luke gone all of the time lately? Yes, he is setting up a business; but he’s never around much now. It doesn’t make a girl feel very secure!@

I love this series! Anabel’s self-talk was hilarious as she deals with everything going on around her. Despite it all, will she get to tie the knot with Luke this time? The reader needs to keep up with the feisty Anabel and see how things turn out for her. I definitely recommend this book. This series is always enjoyable and exciting!

Oh Tracey, Tracey, what have you done to me, your books have hypnotised me, I can't get enough of Annabelle and Luke's steaming, sexy love story.  From the perilous, mysterious escapades to the sultry, steaming hot passion and the flirtatious love and delicious mouth-watering food,  this set of books has captured me from the very first page.  From the moment I came across your first book I was totally smitten, every waking moment, morning until night I have raced through each book in the series.  Tracey you have drawn me in so that I feel like I am one of Annabelle's sisters and I am living in her crazy, beautiful, hilarious world, sharing in the love and passion of their hot, ripped men and enveloped by the love and caring nanabel, the all seeing godmother, Jamie and sexist, opinionated police chief, Jack Banner.  I love how luke interacts saucily with Annabelle and so envious of Annabelle's hilarious and flippant repartee and the banter with which all the family members have when they all get together.  This series has spoilt me, it is a hard act to follow, how can I read and enjoy any other books written by any other author now Tracey?

The Kiss of Kismet begins just after Luke and Anabel return from their disastrous wedding fiasco in Las Vegas. Anabel is still in danger, some of the players causing the disasters have followed them back to Northfield. Luke is stealthily watching out for Anabel. She has to take the first action throughout this book, but the outcome has already been predetermined by Luke's henchmen. They've got Anabel's back. Always. So, what looks like Fate, Luck, etc. to Anabel really isn't all that random.

What is Luke doing throughout all of this? Why, planning a wedding, attending bridal showers, ordering bridal dresses, and running Camp Bennie. Anabel is the ultimate "unbride." She's more than happy to have Luke play both bride and groom. All she wants to do is show up at the wedding.

Like all the other books in this series, The Kiss of Kismet is hilarious, the situations are beyond belief, and the action never stops until the final page.

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this advance reader copy for free and let me tell you. It kept me on my toes the entire way through book. Annabel always tends to find trouble no matter where she is or isn't going. She is prepping for not only her wedding LOL if you call it that, and preparing for a huge poker game, but someone else has something in store for our badass blonde. You really need to read this. If you haven't read the series and like funny, smart mouthed women, hot men and action you have to start with A Date With Fate..,and no this is not a paranormal romance :-)

Finally

After reading the whole series, fortunately for me starting with the last book, I get to where that book starts off. That book was what got me interested enough to want to read the series including the spin off of Jazy. Tracy Ellen writes in such a way that grabbed my attention quickly. Normally I am not fond of series just for the reason of having to wait for the next installment. But since I basically started at the "end" it was fine. The Anabel Axelrod series was so entertaining and a joy to read. So take a shot and you won't be sorry.

Another laugh out loud Anabel book! I absolutely love Tracy Ellen's characters. They always keep me entertained. I'm glad that this book has more than just a couple days worth of events but I'm a little disappointed we still don't get the wedding! I know it's coming and she didn't want to rush it so it's ok, but jeez! If you enjoy the other books in this series i definitely recommend it but you must start these books at the beginning, they are not stand alone books!

Damn I love these books!

I really love this series and can’t get enough of these relationships, their wonderful banter, the sense of humor and self assessment Annabel has, the witty way the author, Tracy Ellen, weaves in what seems like fun or random lines but later is used in a wonderfully funny way. I don’t want the series to end!

Amazing

Tracy Ellen is wonderful.
Annabelle and Drake are an amazing couple. Anna is not your typical girl, she avoids wedding showers and let her groom plan the wedding. She is independent, witty, brave and funny with a wickedly sexy fiancé.

Every time I read about Bel and Luke I'm reminded of how much I love this couple. The two of them are smart, sexy, caring, and perfectly matched in every way.

Of course, no Anabel Axelrod story would be complete without suspense and intrigue. The infamous Mr. G turns out to be much worse than anticipated. And another unexpected character makes a surprising revelation.

One of the things I like so much about these characters is that, although Anabel sees Luke as her “hero” and protector, she is more than capable of taking care of herself. We discover her best friend Ana is also pretty good at kicking ass. The Axelrod women are strong women and make for great heroines. I highly recommend this book - and every other by Tracy Ellen.

This is a very entertaining read. Might feel a little lost if you haven't read the previous books in the series but you'll catch on. There are lots of quirky characters and humor along with some mystery. Overall a very enjoyable book.

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

This whole family is crazy, but it's the best kind of crazy for a reader to enjoy. I've come at the Axelrod family stories from the wrong direction. Jazzy's was the first book I read and this is the first of Anabel's I've experienced. It's written in such a way that I don't feel like I'm missing a bunch of the story. I love the sassy banter between Anabel and Luke, and all their friends and family. I laughed so hard my sides are still tender. And the encounter scenes between the happy couple just about short-circuited my reader. I am anxiously waiting for the epilogue novella but I know I have the six books before this to read while I wait.
I received a complimentary copy of this book.

Fun and feisty antics for Anabel.

Absolutely love Anabel, Luke and all their quirky friends. This book is a fun quick read. Almost too quick, which is one reason why only gave a three star. Felt short changed that we didn't get the actual wedding at the end. Felt as though the book was rushed, story lines were set up with no follow through. While overall didn't seem to have the normal repartee between Luke and Anabel. That being said if you are an Anabel fan you will enjoy. I do look forward to the next installment with book 8 in the hopes that author winds everything up.

rvcd an advanced reader copy for voluntarily providing a review. i just love Tracy's books...they are fun, witty, drama and full of adventure. we continue the adventures of Annabel by heading to tbe chapel. unfortunately fate has another plan for miss axelrod. everyone knows Bel is not into lovey dovey stuff so Luke takes her place as brideizlla and plans it all including going to the bridal showers. Bel is feeling antsy and begins to be paranoid wondering who is lurking around corners. a scare in her store leads to some bodyguards plus she is attacked in the bar by a woman, and to top it off someones gotten into fort knox which is her house. from running from bad guys, to overthinking n suspicions to hosting a poker party..life is never dull for Ms Axelrod. how will she ever make it out alive and will she make it to the altar? great job again Tracy!!

Being Anabel

Anabel Axelrod is back and definitely the definition of "Murphy's Law". When I started this series the first book felt like "eh, it's ok but what can you do with this character? LOL the joke was n me because I dreamt about the characters and noticed "Anabel happenings" all around me! That had me diving into book two and now I am completely addicted!

This is the seventh book in the series and you will LOL throughout the story. I am also not a girly girl and typical women things have never interested me. When Luke is attending the bridal showers and getting drunk on "kool aid" my sides hurt from laughing so much. So many questions as answered finally and yet, there is room for more adventures~

MUST READ! Hot ROMANCE with on the edge of your seat thriller aspects with surprises here and there and a no traditional bride and wedding. Definitely a MUST READ and I can't wait to read the novella that follows this! Anabel Axelrod is always a joy to read about and Tracy knows how to keep you guessing and on the edge until the very end but also stops at the perfect spot to make you anxious to read the next book in the series WITHOUT a cliff hanger ending!

*I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*

Poor Anabel is a magnet for crazy people. She just wants to make it to her wedding day. I love how she has Luke playing the bride & groom for all pre-wedding events. I never thought of that but I would still want to be there to see the poor guy's face during these parties..LOL. This book is pure fun and definitely worth the read.

This is not your average bride-to-be! Anabel Axelrod is a non-traditional girl marrying her sexy, Dark Prince. This girl finds trouble everywhere she turns, but still finds time to walk down the isle on her big day.
But don't just take my word for it, read "The Kiss of Kismet" by Tracy Ellen. Better yet read her whole "Anabel Axelrod" series starting with "A Date with Fate"

Gah, this series is by far one of my favorites. It just keeps getting better and better. Now, I recommend buying A Wedding Written in the Stars at the same time because after all the events that get in Anabel’s way, you won’t want to stop until you get to Bel and Luke’s wedding.

Now, comparing this with the previous in series, you will see more action and classic Anabel hilariousness. I loved being able to laugh so hard after the sad events in the previous book. The scene when she first encounters the Mamba Queen was one of my favorite Anabel moments. I couldn’t stop reading that one. Tracy is so talented with creating the wackiest villains, and they seem to be getting kookier and kookier. You will not be disappointed!

Luke’s hotness was off the charts in this book. Could he possibly get any dreamier? I am very interested in seeing what will happen during the honeymoon as well as learning more of Luke’s deep, dark secrets. I am also dying to know when James is going to land himself a lady. I would love to read a novella in just his POV since I am craving to learn more about his mysterious sexcapades.

I loved this book. I can't wait until the wedding novella. I'm glad Mrs. Ellen didn't rush threw the details of the wedding. Kyle wasn't such a psycho as assumed. I got a lot of closure to questions asked in previous books. Loved the series. Anabel is the s**t. I look forward to reading about the wedding.
