Watcher Rhys MacLeod’s job isn’t an easy one. He is a warrior preserving the balance of power between the human and supernatural worlds while maintaining a non-existent profile. When a man is killed by supernatural forces, it is go time, full throttle to discover who and why, as well as assure it doesn’t happen again. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is admit one needs help, especially when one needs the best of the best and Rhys will find himself in a precarious situation when the best computer genius is a human. Now working with the Titan Group, Rhys must maneuver the shark-filled waters of secrecy while uncovering the supernatural murderer.

Talk about bringing in the big guns! Sharon Kay’s Lash Demons are a paranormal fan’s dream heroes while Cristin Harber’s Titan Group is human hotness and brilliance. Together in one short story, this is dynamite reading that explodes on the pages! Fabulous writing, amazing characters, computer hacking and secrets.

Not only has one of my favorite authors knocked another read out of the ballpark, but I now have another author to add to my must-read mountain! It’s like getting that second dessert and it comes calorie-free!

I received an ARC edition from Sharon Kay in exchange for my honest review.

Twisted Desire is a Titan World novella and the first book I read by Sharon Kay. It perfectly blends the supernatural Watcher world with Cristin Harber’s Titan world and held just the right mix of action, suspense and romance to keep me completely invested until the end. I hope things work out for Megan and Locke! I loved the writing and will definitely check out Sharon Kay’s Watcher's Kiss series.

Twisted Desire is a short, captivating, and riveting novella that introduced the Watcher and Titan Worlds. It’s a great blend of contemporary and paranormal.

I very much enjoyed and savored Twisted Desires. Rhys gets stumped trying to hack into an organization and decides he needs to contact an old buddy. Parker, works for the Titan organization, has worked with Rhys in the past, and once Rhys tells him what’s up, his interest is piqued. Locke, a new Titan member tags along with Parker to help.

These three work well together. I enjoyed learning a little about each character. During the investigation these three didn’t expect to run into one of the scientist, Meghan, that work's at the company and who is the only witness to a murder. During all of this Rhys has to keep the paranormal aspect of the investigation a secret from all the humans.

We get a little mystery, a little suspense, a little action, and a little set up for a couple to maybe one day get a full book. It was a marvelous blend of genres and a great introduction to both worlds.

I love the Watcher series by this author. Getting to see Rhys and Zana? Loved it. The plot is really good and who thought that a combination of paranormal romance crossing over with the Titan series romantic suspense would work? Well it worked exceptionally well.

While Rhys and Jude are on patrol they hear sirens driving to a crime scene as they don’t get involved with human matters they ignore it at first but then change their minds to go and check it out. What they find is shocking, Scott Dayton of Dayton Diagnostics is dead. The type of death leads more to the paranormal side of things. Where to normal humans these things can’t be explained.

Rhys is a hacker but there are some things that even he can’t hack in to. This calls for a specialist. A human specialist which means the Watchers are walking a fine line on this one.

“You worked with this guy?” “Yup. He’s the tech expert of his group. Bunch of human dudes, mostly ex-military. They do shit the government won’t own up to or has too much red tape in the way to get done fast enough.” “Oh my god. That sounds exciting. Wait. That sounds like what you do.” She frowned-“Well that is if you had a government.”

I was a bit antsy and thought I would get any romance but we saw Rhys with Zana. And Locke from Titan came along for the ride and met the lovely doctor Meghan who works at Dayton. I was proven wrong there is a balance between the romance and the suspense as well as the action that is perfect.

The plot was interesting, exciting and unique. Project Tashuri. It is all very unclear to begin with and but the more Megan finds out by taking a look at the data the weirder it becomes. Combining blood, DNA samples, hair samples etc.to change a human to force the mating bond. Luckily enough for the Watchers they all think that he is certifiable and no one believes it.

I need more Watchers please Ms. Kay. A must read in my opinion.

Let me start off by saying that I'm a big fan of Sharon Kay and the stories that she creates. I love the Watchers, who are Lash demons, sent to Earth to protect humans as well as other races from evil. So when I saw that there was a cross over book from the Watcher's Series I knew I had to read it.

Rhys and Jude, two Lash demons living in Chicago, stumble across a human crime scene that reeks of supernatural interference. While the police are floundering for what could have caused the horrific wounds, the Watchers know exactly what type of hunter they're dealing with. Knowing that they will need more backup, Rhys puts in a call to a friend he has made in the Titan Group The Titan Series Boxed Set (Titan #1, 2, 3, 3.1, 3.2) by Cristin Harber .

I was very impressed with how seamlessly these two literary series were combined. With one focusing on the paranormal and the other remaining unaware of it. I thought it was very cleverly written and I would highly recommend checking it out, whether your a fan of Sharon Kay or Cristin Harber.

3 tepidly paranormal stars.

When a Deserati female demon kills a human man, Watcher demon Rhys MacLeod is on the case. What he finds are some very strange things going on in the dead man's biotech firm. Out of his element, he enlists the help of his old friends in the Titan Group, Parker Black and Locke Oliver. Fortunately, the group finds an ally in scientist Megan O'Rourke, but Rhys must do everything he can to make sure the humans he's working with never learn the truth of the world he lives in.

TWISTED DESIRE is a novel by Ms. Kay in the Titan World series by a variety of authors writing in and around the world of the Titan series by Cristin Harber. I'm not a huge fan of paranormal reads, so this one really didn't do much for me whatsoever. It didn't help that I'd never read anything in the Watchers series by Ms. Kay and had nothing to base this demon world off of. The writing was confusing at times, and I found myself constantly having to double back to try to figure out what I missed in order to play catch-up. Add to this the fact that there was zero sexy time in TWISTED DESIRE and my attention span took a total hike.

While this book was technically well written, and fans of Ms. Kay's Watchers series will no doubt enjoy, this one was a vast departure from what I've come to enjoy in any Titan book.

"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

Fantastic read!  Titan, demons, crazy-mad scientist and unexpected, sweet connection. It’s a combination that will thoroughly entertain and grip your imagination about the world around us.  Yes, it’s in the fiction category but have you ever wondered about your neighbors or some of the people you run into on the street, public transportation, in a elevator?  *Grins.

When an unexplained murder of a founder/scientist in human genomics is discovered, Watcher demon-hacker Rhys is stumped trying to get access the scientists server and must call an old buddy.  Parker Black, IT genius for Titan has worked with Rhys before and owes him one.  Parker’s interest is piqued with the company’s security since he can’t access it remotely and must be physically located with the server.  As they investigate, Locke Oliver, new Titan member comes along with Paker to assist.  What the three of them didn’t anticipate when they entered the building was running into scientist, Meghan O’Rourke and the only witness.  Meghan, being a scientist, can’t make sense of what she saw and was burying herself in her work.   When she tells the guys what she saw, Rhys understood but Locke and Parker, not so much.   When Parker was able to access the server,  Meghan helped to decipher the data and the data was unfathomable.

This is the first book I’ve read from Sharon Kay and I’m glad it had familiar characters but it also opened a new genre for me to explore.  Thank you Sharon and Titan World!

Twisted Desire (Titan World) by Sharon Kay Sharon Kay did an excellent job of combining her supernatural existence from the Watcher's Kiss series to Cristin Harber’s human inhabited Titan World series.  The characters worked well together while the paranormal presence is never revealed to the human characters.  TWISTED DESIRE takes place in contemporary Chicago.

I love that the story included Rhys MacLeod from book four in the Watches’ Kiss series, AWAKENING KISS.  I really enjoyed that book and was glad to read more about his character.  I thought it was clever how Sharon Kay brought the Titan World characters into the story.  Rhys and Jude are investigating the murder of human that was killed by a Deserati female. It leads them to Dayton Diagnostics.  Rhys is an excellent hacker, but he cannot get into the company’s impressive firewalls.  He calls in his human friend from Titan Group, Parker Black, to help with the task.  Parker and his partner Locke Oliver head to Chicago to help Rhys out.

While on the job, they meet witness, Megan O’Rourke, who helps with the investigation.  Megan and Locke hit it off, having great chemistry.  The scheme they uncover at Dayton Diagnostics is crazy.  It was interesting to see the supernatural versus human side of things unfold as Rhys and Jude try to keep their world a secret.  The story is full of non-stop action and numerous twists.  I enjoyed the characters.  The story was well-written and clever.  It had a great ending.  It was a wonderful collaboration of two series.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Twisted Desire by Sharon Kay

When I saw this novella listed on NetGalley I wanted it. Why? I enjoy reading Sharon Kay’s books and was eager to see what this one might be about. I had not a clue that it was a melding of two different worlds and though I have not read even one story in The Titans series I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

The Watchers are pulled into solving a murder in Chicago because their world and the human world have rules that must not be crossed and someone from their world has murdered a human. With the hunt on and hacker skills needed Parker, a human from the Titan group, is called in to help. There is a bit of romance mixed in with the locating and capture of the murderer and a bit of catching up with characters that no doubt have been in previous books of both series.

I came away wanting to read more by Ms Kay but also wanting to find out who the Titans are.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. This is my honest review.

When I first heard what this book was going to be about I was excited. I love thrillers that have a Sci-fi/ paranormal twist. So seeing Titan we're going to be teaming with with a paranormal series just screamed excitement to me. It didn't disappoint, in the slightest. The worlds of the Watchers and of Titan blend seamlessly together, Sharon Kay really did an awesome job of writing a story that fans of both series will love. You like Titan but aren't keen on paranormal? That's ok, it isn't overbearing, and the same if you are a Watchers fan and not keen on those ex-military alpha men; just enough of each to make it a fun and entertaining story. I know after reading it I ran to Amazon to pick up a few Sharon Kay books, because I loved her style and wanted to read more.

Imagine my surprise when I saw a Sharon Kay novella available that blends two of my most favorite series....The Watchers and The Titan men!! Sigh and swoon...

I loved how this blended two worlds that run parallel to one another but with one oblivious to the darker side of the others in a way that kept us riveted page after page.

As any Watcher/Titan book this has lots action, mystery and a nice little romance between Locke and Megan. For anylover of either series this is a must read but I will say you do not have to read the predecessors to read this it explains it all nicely but you won't be disappointed if you do read them!

I was pulled right into this fast-paced story.

This is a novella that crosses both the Titan and the Watcher's Series. You get a little of the supernatural and the human world as they collide. Can they keep the supernatural world parts hidden from the humans or will they find out more than they bargained for? When someone is using supernatural powers to commit crimes they must get together to solve the crimes. But will they be able to keep everything hidden?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a good read.

I recommend this book.

I have always enjoyed Sharon Kay’s books and this novella did not disappoint. I have read all of the Watcher series, and the first book in the Titan series by Cristin Harber

The two series combined was a great story; the paranormal side of the story being hidden from the “human” side was done very well. I am looking forward to the next Watcher book and will definitely finish the Titan series.

Wow! This was really good! Meshing both genres in writing this works very smoothly. It has a taste of both! Found the scene between Jude and Rhys after the lady exits the elevator with her dog really funny. Trying to figure out if Cara is a one-off or she exists in Solsti / Watcher world. I may need to go read the rest of Titan books that are out!

A contemporary author and a paranormal author decide to mix things up and so we have Twisted Desire. a thoroughly enjoyable novella featuring Titan security services and watchers, mainly Rhys.

I have never read the Titan series before, but found the characthers warm and interesting.

While on a guard the watchers come across a murder scene where it is obvious the killer wasn't human. Luckily Rhys has some human friends who he can call on, he just has to pretend to be human and keep everyone in the dark about the origin of the killer.

This is a novella that gives us a taste of watchers working with humans and it's an entertaining read.

This was a great short read! I love Cristin Harber, so I was excited to read this book. Tying the paranormal aspect into the Titan World without bringing it all in to the open was great. Rhys, Parker and Locke worked together well to help solved the murder with the help of scientist, Megan. There was a ton of chemistry between Locke and Megan, and I've love to know more about where they ended up. Unfortunately, I have had this novella for a while and I'm finally going back to read it. 4 out of 5 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley and Sharon Kay for the e-copy for honest review.

An intense, action packed suspense with a touch of romance that's a must read! If you're a fan of either the Titan Group series by Cristin Harber or Watchers Kiss series by Sharon Kay, you will love this collaboration of the two. With it's unique storyline, complex characters, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists, this page turner will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. A fantastic novella, and great addition to the Titan World series.

This is my first book by Sharon Kay, and I loved it! I love the Titan Group series, and this was an interesting mix of the two series. I'm intrigued by the Watchers Kiss characters, and I'll definitely be reading this new-to-me series, as well as the rest of the Titan World series.

I strongly recommend this book, and great author!

Which one's book 1?

Seriously, an interesting concept to bring off the books Black ops Titans together with supernatural demon Watchers. Without the Titans learning about the supernatural demons. The murder, of a medical genome company founder committed by a Deserati demoness, and a computer system Rhys can't get into entails a call to Titan member Parker Black. Which ends up bringing Parker and Locke to Chicago. And a wicked web of DNA.

This was an interesting story. Kay mixed her demon Watchers with Parker and Locke from Titan Group. This story is fast pace. I will be looking into Kay's series its looks interesting at least Demon Rhys's story. Over all good book I hope Megan has a future with Locke. Well pick Twisted Desire and take a dive into Titan World. Happy Reading

Titan World.

This was my first foray into the supernatural world. I have to be honest if it wasn't for it being a Titan book I probably wouldn't have considered it. I have to say now that I really did enjoy it. It was good to see Parker and Locke from the Titan books but I also really liked the other main characters in the book. While it is difficult to get your rational head around the mixing of human and demon DNA I thought the author actually made it believable.

Sharon Kay does it again! I read Awakening Kiss a Watchers Kiss novel a few weeks ago and completely fell in love. Of course I had to request this latest write by Sharon Kay as soon as I saw it and I wasn’t disappointed in the least.

Right away I fell into the story and was swept away. I loved that this read had Rhys from the Watcher’s Kiss novel Awakening Kiss in this story as well. I always like to see characters I love being brought into later stories by authors and this is no exception.

I was a little thrown for a minute on who the main male squeeze was going to be, but then since Parker was married I figured that the book wasn’t long enough to watch him derail from a marriage and then find a new gal so it had to be Locke. I loved the little triste between Locke and Megan. I always like to see the nerdy introvert girls get the sexy badass guys. Probably some subconscious thing about the fact that I’m a nerdy girl hiding behind my computer.

Locke is a member of the Titan Group a private security, go to guy, alpha male brethren company that handles all those pesky things the government has trouble with for various reasons. He and his boss Parker Black are called in by Rhys MacLeod an old friend of Parker’s to help investigate the murder of a scientist that left some serious questions.

Megan is a scientist whose boss was just murdered by a woman who may or may not have had a tail from where she was standing. No one seems to really have any leads so when three men who look like they just might be able to uncover some new leads show up she’s more than happy to assist them. The fact that Locke Oliver might just be one of the hottest men she’s ever laid eyes on might help ensure her cooperation as well.

Together the group of four, three serious alpha males and a cute little feminine scientist, uncover the truth behind the murder some of which is definitely not rated human knowledge acceptable.

This was a fantastic short read and now I really want to know more about Titan Group and what’s going on there. Can’t wait for the next book by this amazing author.

(I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review).

(This review may contain spoilers).

I didn't really remember, until I started reading this book, that I'd thought in the past it would be good to see a crossover between a supernatural series and a non-supernatural one. So it was good to have the opportunity to see that in this book.

Although I haven't read any of the Titan books, I have read most of the Watcher series by now and it was good to get to see Rhys again and see him interacting with Parker. Even though I didn't really know both Parker and Locke, I did like being introduced to them.

It was particularly interesting to see Rhys having to try and keep the existence of demons from Parker and Locke. I liked seeing Locke and Megan interacting together, but I would have liked to learn more about both of their history. While the world of the Watchers (and I'd imagine the world of the Titans, too) is quite big, I didn't get much of that in this novella. The world seemed very condensed.

I did like seeing Rhys and his mate from the first book again and although the story was quite condensed down, it was good there was a lot of tension in this book. And although I would have liked to see a bit of background for Trini and Jerry, I couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for them.

I would have liked it if this book had been a bit longer. While it was good that this book served as a way of showing both sets of characters, I couldn't have said this would work as an introduction to either of the series, as it assumed at least a passing knowledge of the world and characters. But at the same time, it did make me intrigued enough to want to check out the Titan world in the future.

I did also like being able to see Parker and Locke see something of the world that the Watchers inhabited, even though they didn't know the truth/believe what they heard. It was good to see an appearance of one of the nymphs at the end.

Altogether, I found this book an entertaining read and I would definitely read more of the Titans in the future... and I will continue reading the Watcher series when I have the opportunities too.

A very quick read. Maybe it's because I don't know the background for this series, but the story was a bit short and chaotic for me. I would like to read Rhys's story and u understand that this is about Jerry and Trina but there was a lot of time spent on Locke and Megan without a conclusion there or really a next step so I have to say the twisted part was represented, but not as much as Locke and Megan's budding relationship. Anyway a quick read for something different.

I received a copy of this review in exchange for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of both Cristin Harber's Titan series, and Sharon Kay's Watcher series. And amazingly enough, they have a crossover...a crossover! I love well-written cross-overs, and I got to read this book right after I read Rhys' book, Awakening Kiss. I wasn't exactly sure how Sharon would be able to keep Rhys' secret, especially from my favorite Titan hacker, Parker Black, but somehow she did, and believably. Though I was hoping this would be a full-length novel, and it certainly could have been, I think it was just enough for a quick dip without straining the timelines of both series.

There was some suspense, some action, and even a tiny glimpse into a future budding romance in this quick-reading novella.

If you are a fan of either author, this is a great introduction to the other series, and if you're a fan of both, like me, this is double the amazing reads!

I received a copy of this story for an honest review.

What I Loved: Twisted Desire is an action packed read full of exciting characters and a solid mystery that built to a satisfying conclusion. Rhys and Enza are two of my favorite characters from The Watcher's Kiss series and I was beyond ecstatic to get more scenes with them both.

What I Didn't Love: If you haven't read any of The Watcher's Kiss novels you may struggle with the story. Also, the story leans heavier on murder/mystery than romance so don't expect Kay's standard love filled HEA.

Favorite Quotes:

"Damn. Pouty pink lips taunted him with all kinds of dirty possibilities."

"He was honorable and self-sacrificing. A hero. No one had ever protected her. Not that she'd needed."

"People believing in demons... pointed ears... what was up with this city? Could he have seen that correctly? Nah. He shook his head. Definitely not."

Happy reading.

While I haven't previously read anything in the Titan world I have read the books by Sharon Kay before and I enjoyed seeing the characters there and I will definitely be reading the other series because I do enjoy a good crossover!

You can easily see how these two worlds blend together and I enjoyed the different perspectives about what was going on in the story. The story was great for what was there although I do like mine a little bit longer but since this is part of an anthology I understand why it was and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Not much to say regarding the story without giving away spoilers but I love seeing Rhys once again. I also enjoyed that while there was a bit of a romance element within the story the actual story line was the feature.

Rhys is a demon watcher who helps to keep the peace and line between human world and supernatural intact. Enter a suspicious human death, a DNA puzzle and computer info to discover and Titan is called in to assist.
This is the first book to read by this author although have read Titan books. Good blend and story line of these two worlds. Only question is how Megan accepted teams getting into locked office with no ID presented or call to confirm legit investigation. OtherWise even with not having read Rhys' s story, felt good explanation of background and intervention .

Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
