You Are Precious

Rate this book
Sal has been roaming the world trying to figure out just where he fits in, and who he truly is. He eventually finds himself in the heart of southeast Asia and is quickly drawn into the underground Muay Thai boxing rings in Bangkok, Thailand. There, while trying to find out who and what he's really made of, Sal is introduced to a very new and very real kind of evil.

With his superhuman abilities, he has been rising fast as a potential new champion, but when he meets a young girl who was forced as a child into sexual slavery he decides that it's up to him to save her. Under the pretense of accepting her as a gift, he begins trying to find the innocent child she still has buried deep inside. She responds slowly, but finally comes to love him as a father-figure and is thrilled when he makes efforts to purchase her from the pimp that owns her.

But pimps are criminals, and when Precious is stolen away and held for ransom, Sal will stop at nothing to get her back.

No matter what it costs him.

ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY FABULOUS.

This book was absolutely fantastic. One of the best books I've read in a very long time. I fell madly in love with the characters as well as the story. I cried my eyes out several times and that's always a good thing in a book. I most definitely and wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Love and revenge

Sal is doing a walk-a-bot to find out who or what he is. Since life isn't lived in a vacuum he meets a boy whom he befriended and in passing a young girl who was forced into the sex slave trade. Sal does right only to lose her. Revenge is the only answer.

Fung choo

Interesting chapter to the series. Breaks down a bit when the killing starts but readable. Probably best to start with the first chapter.

Never cried so hard!

Wow, this book was so many things! It was gut-wrenching and I don't think I've cried so much reading a book before. I loved the first book and this second one was even better! Kudos to Mr. Falls for bringing the characters to life and making me care so much about them. I hope we see more stories about Sal in the future. It would be great to see more of his adventures. I highly recommend this book!

Good guys doing what the legal system will not do

Another one I could not put down. Always good to see the good guys kick hell out of the bad guys and this one did it in spades. Androids will be with us soon so we willl hear more and more about them and their almost superhuman attributes.

Interesting plot in need of a good editor!

Character development was pretty well done and the story moves along at a good pace. In the kindle edition, I found quite a few typos and miss-used words. A good editor would have caught these.

Riveting Story

The story line was great. Humane and sheds a light on the sex trafficking in Thailand and surroundings. The ending was a bit violent for my taste. Sal is a character to follow!

Sal is intriguing

There is just something intriguing about Sal that makes you want to see him become more human. I would read more books about him.

Melodrama

This melodrama is wrapped around the Thai sex industry. It also has an element of the "superhero." I await sequels.

Very good book about evil of human trafficking.Plot moved fast with plenty of suspense and plot twists. Not a typical ending based on story focus.
