Katie Salidas' "Mated" is the second tale in the Olde Town Pack series. I loved it! When I read #1, I was hoping we would get to see Brady's story and voila! Brady is a major were-player (is that a thing?!?!)! Everything you want in a werewolf romance! Epic battle between clans and hot wolfy sex! I'm really digging this series. I can't wait to see what happens next.

So happy to be back with the Old Town Pack! I was hooked from the first sentence. I've been waiting for Brady's story and Mated did not disappoint. I'm not going to give a recap, Katie Salidas did a great job of that in the blurb. I loved seeing Brady meet his match with Rachel. She is Truly his equal in every way. She strong and independent both in and out of the bedroom. The action starts right out of the gate and doesn't stop. I loved the way the ending set up for book 3. I didn't see that coming but love the direction I think ( no spoilers) the series is going. I could go on and on but seriously you need to just stop reading this review and by the book. Seriously, why are you still reading this? Go buy the book, you won't regret it

The story is entertaining and the writing is really good, and I enjoyed the action and suspense. The thing that was lacking for me was the connection between Brady and Rachel, their connection didn't feel like it had much depth, so I was a bit disappointed with that. Their relationship was actually my least favorite thing about this book, and I don't think I really cared for either of them as characters, but despite that I loved the rest of the book, and it was great seeing previous characters. I do think the way the Rachel was introduced was very interesting, and I was really hoping to see Brady make a significant change personality wise, but no luck there. I loved the werewolf aspect, and I think Katie Salidas does have an interesting take on werewolves. So overall, the story kept me reading, and the writing is on point, and I enjoyed reading it.

Brady finds Rachel on one of his patrols, close to death after a horrendous beating. Brady couldn't understand why someone would do that to such a beautiful wolf and human. She is now under Brady's protection but Rachel's old pack, who was very abusive, is also in Brady's territory for a celebration among the packs. Can Brady trust her words while protecting her at the same time? This story has steamy romance, danger and non stop action.

Good read

I enjoyed this book though I felt like I was dropped into the middle of a story. Rachael was a strong character and it was a refreshing change to read from the male point of view. Will have to buy the first book to get the whole picture.

Revenge of the mates

Mated

Such a refreshing read. Rachel is a true alpha female shifter. She may have been traded, tormented, and left for dead, but she never lost her will to fight and do whatever it takes to go for what she wants. Brady is strong and confident without being too full of himself. The battle is exciting and the drama keeps going. I didn't want to put this story down for anything.

Yes

I enjoyed the book. I LOVED that the female lead was not a virgin, innocent, while the main male was a self proclaimed man wh@re. I get so sick of the man being a case for walking STDs and the woman being pure. I liked that he appreciated her "skills," and didn't shame her. She's a strong, survivor, woman.

oh....my....this book was amazingggg ( not to mention some of it was super hottttttttt ).
Katie has once again blown me away with yet another amazing book. This one is for her Olde Town Pack series , which connects with her Immortalis series , but you don't have to read that series to be able to understand what happens in this one.
Once again , I'm blown away by the plot , world , and of course the characters that I have grown to know by reading through all of her books. Here's to more amazing adventures !

I love this whole world. There is such a depth of personality to all the characters in this book. I've been patiently waiting for Brady to meet his match since we were first introduced to him in the Immortalis series. And Rachel fits the bill perfectly. She's found in a very weak an vulnerable condition which lights a fire under Brady's protective instincts. But she's a passionate warrior in her own right and that appeals to his inner alpha. I think these two make a fantastic pair and I look forward to seeing what else is in store for them and the whole Olde Town Pack.
