This is an alternate cover edition for B00Q759W2E

One smart witch and three sexy wolves tell a story of love, lies and rejection.

All Shavone Gentil wants is to find her runaway sister. When witchcraft fails to provide the answers, she resorts to the last resort -- getting a job at the Denver Dollhouse. Shav gets answers, but to questions she didn’t even know to ask.

In love and in lust with Shavone since childhood, all Nash LaFontaine wants is her safety, her body and her heart. Responsible and noble, the giant alpha waited so long. Did he wait too long?

All Ben LaFontaine wants is to do his duty as a French wolf. He comes to Denver to do just that. His first assignment is to help his cousin Nash protect the witch. Little does he know the power she'll wield over him.

All Enrique Cruz wants, all he’s ever wanted, is Shavone. There’s a night from hell that the Native alpha will never forget, the horrors of which his obsession is just beginning to remember.

Who will get they want and whose heart will shatter?

Note: Due to strong language and mature content, this Wolven Moon Novel is recommended for adults ONLY.

I give this book 1 1/2 stars. Wasn't what I was expecting. I usually like new adult paranormal romance but I didn't like the three way relationship it didn't suit how I see wolf's being dominant of their mate and not wanting anyone else to have her and it was just a little weird.

Shavones personality was a bit all over the place.

Cruz wasn't in it much and seemed forceful with her in the beginning and then gentle at the end. I probably won't read the whole series but I hope Cruz doesn't enter into a weird relationship with them.

Has potential but the weird relationships ruined it.

"Soft Shatter (Wolven Moon Book 1)" by Dany Rae Miller actually had a disclaimer further down the blurb section stating it had a somewhat lengthy MFM ménage love scene and had this reader noticed it, she would not have gotten the book... her experimental stage is long over and she now prefers monogamous relationships - with or without the marriage certificate. And that would have been a rather large mistake, on this reader's part... Miller has a strong writer's voice that compells and commands a reader - via her interesting characters, mind you - wherever she desires you to be. What a ride! While the ménage sex scene was very well written, this reader kept feeling protagonist Shav had made a huge mistake. This reader freely admits she was enthralled by Enrique and wanted him with Shav, felt he was perfect for her. And this was still at the beginning of the book; he simply made a huge - favorable - impression on this reader. Wolves "attaching" to a person, not always recognizing them as a mate, was a fairly new concept in wolf-shifter's stories this reader has read. However, it was quite believable, especially when this retired dog breeder recalled various dogs she had owned, doing something similar to how Miller described the LaFontaine cousins... one showdog this reader bred, attached herself to a young pygmy goat and the two ran, jumped, played and slept together all of the time. So while this reader doesn't recall reading about this behavior in previous stories, she has actually witnessed said behavior in real life.

Settings were vividly appealing and easy to visualize and imagine one is right there, watching, as things unfold. Dialogue was believable and authentic to each character, and always helped move the story along. This reader does recall some very minor grammar, spelling and/or punctuation errors - not enough to truly distract, but enough that she does actually recall seeing them. The tale itself is told from multiple points of view, which was a tad bit confusing at first, unsure of whose head she was in for a paragraph or two... often, this reader felt "off kilter" until well into the chapter. But then, perhaps that was Miller's intent, allowing the reader to have a taste of the confusion inside Shavone's headspace...? This reader was angered on behalf of Shav when she finally talked to her adopted sister, by the way - oops, spoiler alert!

There is no happily ever after ending to this book; Shav does not ride off into the sunset with her one true love. However, she does grow up - a lot - in this story, and begin to be able to see those around her a bit more clearly. This reader wonders if she did grow enough to truly deal with whatever life and the Alliance will next throw her way, but feels certain she'll be able to deal with Enrique guarding her back - instead of lieing to her face in the name of "protecting" her. Dany Rae Miller, I do believe this is the first ménage "love" scene this reader has ever given a thumbs up to! This reader does recommend the book and Miller as a writer.

Overall I liked this book. The characters were interesting and the plot never got boring. However, the book started off very confusingly and it really felt like I should have had read a book before this because there was already a lot happening when the book started and it was quite hard to understand what was going on and to keep up with the story and all the plot twists.
I also didn't like that there were three guys Shavone was interested and involved in especially after the ending. So, it was an okay book, but there was a lot of things that I found weird and confusing.

I really loved this book and as soon as I finished it, I had to instantly go and purchase the other books in the series. The story-line is wonderful mix of supernatural romance and mystery/action, which had me hooked from the beginning. There were many surprises throughout the book. I love the main characters - Shavonne and the three sexy wolves Nash, Ben and Enrique. The sex scenes were smoking hot, but also sweet. I'm excited to see what happens in the next books.

I highly recommend this book to all readers who are interested in supernatural romances.

Hot, beyond hot, scorching hot were/witch book

Soft Shatter (Wolven Moon Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
4.5 stars

This was my first read by this author and what a first read it was! Shavone, a witch seeking her missing sister, goes to get a job at the Dollhouse Club. The owner Enrique and she have a past she can't remember but she is attracted to him. She is also attracted to her friend Ben and his cousin Nash. The sex is extremely smoldering scorching hot. This book is well written, I found myself rooting for each of the 3 weres wanting each to have their HEA with her. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can recommend it to all PNR mature readers. One complaint is the cliffhanger ending-now I have to go and get the second in this series....lol.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary review consideration.

This book surprised me. In so many ways!

Surprise #1: This is erotic romance. I usually hate erotic romance. But this is so well written I had trouble putting it down.

Surprise #2: There was an actual plot and storyline in this, it was not just sex. I was intrigued to see what was happening and finding out the bigger picture, while enjoying the sexual tension, and eventually the love scenes.

Surprise #3: I usually hate love triangles. This one was a love square, and it did not phase me one bit. What woman doesn’t want three strong, hot men fawning over her? I had a lot of trouble picking a favourite and was thoroughly enjoying the sexual tension between Shav and her three suitors.

Surprise #4: The menage scene. Um, I have never, ever thought I would enjoy reading something like this, but OH MY STARS this was one of the hottest things I have ever read. Except for the toe sucking, I could have done without that. But really, this was so hot I felt like I needed to have a cold shower after reading it. warning! not safe for reading on public transport

Surprise #5: While Shav was annoying at times, she didn’t irritate me too much. Her whinging about her sister was kept to the bare minimum, any more and I would have wanted to strangle her – props to the author on dialing back the drama in this regard.

Surprise #6: I did not cringe at the descriptions of anything in this book (except the toe sucking), the words used, especially in the love scenes, were well picked and flowed on the page so effortlessly that I actually felt like a voyeur.

Surprise #7: I did not have a favourite male lead. I wanted them all to win her heart.

I was so sad when I got to the last page of this book. I need the next one now. I can’t wait to read what happens in the coming installments.

I’m taking off half a star for the toe sucking, for a grand total of

3.5 Stars!

I abso-freaking-utely loved this book! The storyline sucked me in right away with its shroud of mystery and sexual tension. I found it very difficult to put this book down.

I really loved all the main characters: Shavone, Nash, Ben and Enrique. One of the things I loved most about Shavone was her strong will and determination, not to mention the power she wielded over the men in this book. The personalities of Nash, Ben and Enrique really drew me in to each of them and made them each so likeable (is it possible to have 3 book boyfriends in 1 book?? because I wouldn’t be able to choose between them!). I found this book to have a good pace to it and I felt that it was really well written. The reading and waiting in anticipation of who Shavone ends up with and the mystery surrounding her was pushed nicely along with all the surprise twists, turns and information popping up from her past. Also, the sexual attraction between Shavone and the other main characters (yep, as in plural) was quite intense at times and the sex scene was HOT (you’ll have to read to find out more on this!)

I can’t wait for the next installment to come out learn more about Shavone as a witch, the history behind her, the answers to her questions and (as stated in the synopsis) answers to questions she didn’t even know to ask.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last. The book was written in multiple first person POV. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Dany Rae Miller for quite an enjoyable read!

This book was given to me for an honest review

Wow! I haven't read any paranormal romances in a while, and I now miss them after Soft Shatter. This book had everything you need, drama, hot sex, smoking alphas and a beautiful story line.
Shavone is a young woman who is desperate to find her sister after she had no contact for months. You go with her on the journey to attempt to find any information on how Val is and where she is. You meet Cruz, who is a hot alpha wolf with a soft side. You don't hear much about him during the story, but the ending is wow! I was so shocked with how the book ended!
Ben and Nash are cousins and you wish you lived with them! They like sharing women, but Shav is different to them. Both of them love her and just want to keep her safe. But what does her safety cost? Throughout the book, I was routing for Ben, as he is so lovable, not that Nash isn't, but Ben is the man I'd love to fall for.
The story lets you follow Shav and her journey with Ben and Nash, but then also on her mission to find Val. Her connection with Cruz is perfect, and I felt immense sorrow for the situation in which they first met.
The only downside was the different prospective's and not being labelled. I love multi-viewed stories, but I love knowing who they are first instead of having to work them out.

But for my first Dany book, I loved it and will recommend it to anyone! Oh, and there are a couple of hot menage scenes!
A well deserving 5 star book!

This book is just hot 5 star hot. This storyline of a witch and the three men (wolf shifters) who love and want her keeps you on the edge of your seat excited, while constantly trying to guess the next step.

Shavone plays the main part of the story with mystery around her missing sister and the two wolves assigned to keep Shavone safe. A surprise is thrown in with a wolf that saved her life as a child as well. This could have been a messy story but the author does an excellent job in showing the confusion that Shavone feels with which man to choose while furthering the storyline in an engaging manner. I love how the author clearly defines each man's personalities seamlessly hitting all our hotspots for what we want in our special man or two or three.

In fact the story is so well written that you want to scream with frustration or cry because you can't choose between which man she should love and in the end you want all of them to win.

The ending is left as a cliffhanger and I can't wait till the next book in the series comes out because honestly I wasn't satisfied with the ending, as I still want all three men to win.

Wow talk about a book that came out of nowhere!

Shavone is one determined young witch. She is looking for her adoptive sister and will do anything to find her, even getting a job at a strip club where she hopes the clients can give her the answers she seeks. What she wasn't expecting was her attraction to the clubs owner, a man she has always been told to stay far away from.

Although this story is told from many perspectives it's really all about Shavone, her journey to find Val, and her rising attraction to three very different men...um wolves.

As she searches she has to figure who to trust and who islying to her. Are her best interests really being thought of or is there so much more to everything than she understands?

The biggest thing about her was her loyality. Absolute and complete she has loyalty in spades for those closest to her.

The paranormal aspect is what made this story so intreguing, the way it was done gave you the information you needed but didn't realize were important. While at the same time left you panting for more. Great start to a new series and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

Although Soft Shatter has all the elements I love in the books I read, it never fully grasped my attention. Instead of sprinting through it, it was more of a leisurely stroll. In other words I liked. Our female MC is on a mission and she won't let anyone in her way to achieve said mission. But there are secrets, that not even she knows about but those around her do. She's the center of attention for three wolves who all want her for themselves. Ms. Miller takes the reader on a journey of twists and turns. With that being said I still would read more works by this author. Personally I saw nothing wrong with the voice, pace, or dynamics of Soft Shatter, it just didn't come out the gate popping with me. While I enjoyed this read it just never had me in a rush to just finish it right this minute. Instead it was a book that would be read while waiting for a much more anticipated favorite series or author. That being said BRAVO to Ms. Miller for doing what she loves and bringing her unique voice to the world of literature. Lovers of paranormal would do well to add this to their collection.

I never thought I would ever give a 5 star rating to a Paranormal book because I am not a big fan of them. I won this book in a giveaway not actually knowing it was a Paranormal read. Once I found out it was I wasn't sure if I was even going to read it but I heard so many good and positive things about it that I knew I had to at least give it an honest shot. I am sooooooo happy I did too! Amazing job Miss Miller! It had all the right mix of things to make it a 5 star story! It has the makings of a very beautiful love story mixed with adventure, suspense and Shavone, the heroine is a strong independent woman that fights for what she wants! The other main characters(Nash, Ben and Enrique) were incredibly well written which allowed the reader to really get to know them. I am so looking forward to reading the next installment to the story, and that says alot coming from someone who has never cared much for Paranormal stories! Soft Shatter was not like any other Paranormal novel I have ever read! Thank you very much Dany Rae Miller, you have an amazing gift! Book 2 Can't Come Fast Enough!

I started Soft Shatter not knowing what to expect. I was quickly pulled into the story of Shavone. Shavone is a young witch who knows little about the paranormal community and the relationship between witches and wolves. While looking for her missing sister, Shavone is caught between three wolves, with very different agendas. Nash is the sexy, big brother wolf. He fights his attraction to Shavone to protect her and keep promises bigger than himself. Ben is the new wolf in town, cousin to Nash and willing to go after Shavone. Ben pushes and pokes, stirring up feelings that were best left buried and ignored. Enrique is the dark, mysterious wolf. His only goal is Shavone, keeping her safe and with him.

When you have one sweet woman and three (!) alpha wolves, sparks fly and fires ignite. I fell in love with each wolf and wanted to bang their heads together at various times. This is not your typical, menage shifter story. Yes, there are moments that involve more than 2 people (and its HOT)  but it is so much more! You become involved, cheering for Shavone, crying for the wolves, rooting for a HEA even though you aren't sure who is the right HEA. I can't wait for book 2!

This novel contains mature material and is recommended for ages 17 and above.

Shavone wants is find her missing sister and make some changes in her life so she can have a better future, but life has more in store for her than a quiet reunion and an acceptance letter to grad school. In a daring move to find out about her sister Val Shavone takes a job at the doll house, an exclusive club where she hopes to make some extra cash and a few useful connections, but she does not count the feelings she has for Cruz who owns the club having to deal with the crush she has always had on Nash her friend who is like an overly protective brother ad the new feelings she develops for Nash's cousin Ben. Wha t is a lovely witch to do when she must choose between the three wolves that want her? I liked Shavone right away she is a strong and gutsy gal who uses logic and planning to follow her heart, but what will her heart tell her when she must make hard choices and face hard facts? Shavone's story draws you in through the pages and keeps them moving to the very last one.

Soft Shatter Recipe
2 Really Hot Powerful Wolves
1 Smart Sexy "Soft" Witch
1/2 Mad (as in crazy az hell) club owner -divided
Mix well with a childhood memory that holds a secret everyone knows a piece of.. well except for the child in question that is.. and the results yield orgasms with the force of freight trains, killer testosterone levels (and I really mean killer) and the beginning of a mystery that leaves you panting for more.

This book was well written and easy to relate to. While I found Shavonne to be a bit of a cry baby I guess given her past its understandable. I started the book at midnight 24 hours ago, and I'm a mom that works a full time gig.. need I say more...
I would label this PRN, Erotica, light BDSM
Can't wait for the second installment. .Great Job DRM

Interesting story will keep you wanting more.

I don't usually go for paranormal stories, but this one... I'm so glad I made an exception!

The character development is great and although the background is a bit sketchy for me (not really familiar with wolf families and hierarchy and witch covens), the story was still good.

I was able to connect with Enrique the first time I've read his voice, that's why Ben and Nash was just grating on me. Especially Nash's obnoxiously protective tendencies that just makes me want to do a Krav Maga move on him! Enrique, sigh!

However, the different points of view can be a bit confusing! There are several chapters that I have to check whose POV I was reading about.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm looking forward to the continuation of Shavone's story.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

OMG I NEED MOORE!!!

This book was wonderful! I haven't read a good paranormal romance in a good while. But this one defiantly quenched my thirst!! OMG I cannot wait for the next book! Total cliffhanger!
The witch if full of secrets that I'm dying to uncover. Along with the love triangle between all the wolves. This story had me falling in love with the characters from the very beginning. The wolves were sooooo HOT. And, a little ménage action in there would peak anyone's interest :) I cannot wait to see how it all plays out. I highly recommend! If I could give it more stars I totally would. I'm going to have such a book hangover now! Uuugh! Lol

I wanted to like this book, I really did. But it was too slow paced for me. The characters were all over the place. Not enough paranormal elements (if you've got a paranormal story, do something with it! I couldn't get past the "wolves" being totally ok with all the sharing and the menage. Doesn't that go against saying how possessive they are?) There's a really neat plot somewhere buried under all the unreal-dialogue and erotic elements. I'm cool with erotica, but don't set up a big plot and then ignore it in favor of those scenes. There needed to be a better balance.
