Wasn’t what I expected for the 2017 date. It seems as though this book was before what I wanted. Nothing about the Alexa Show and in places it talked about using a hub and the models now have the hub built in. Didn’t give me what I was looking at all.

Nice little book

Useful little read prior to using the echo for the first time. Simple and easy to follow, very informative. Recommended

Good basic information for new users. I was hoping for some information on interoperability for using Alexa more IFTTT examples.

Best Amazon Echo Book

I learned quite a bit from this book. Very in-depth. I didn't give it 5 stars as there is a lot of repeating in the Easter Eggs section.

I have read several books about using the Echo and the Tap. I own both. What you can do with these devices are only limited by what people can think of controlling. Of all the books I have read, this is the best I have seen. If you want to get one, or if you have an Echo, or even a tap, this book is worth reading.

Could have used a proof reader. I *did* learn a few things so the book was worthwhile to skim through. Definitely more useful for someone brand new to the Alexa platform and needing some hand holding in setting it up.

I did not actually finish this book. While it was somewhat helpful getting up and running with Alexa, it appears to have been translated from some other language (French?) using a basic computer translator and without anyone actually editing it in English.

Great start for Alexa.

Helped me realize to start slow to learn what Alexa can do and what I want it for. Big plans, but one step at a time!

This is a great book for learning about "all things Alexa". If you want to find out more about how to use the wonderful tools such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Amazon Tap, you will love this book. It breaks down the origins of this new electronic device, plus all of the basics of learning how to function it. It also gives you introductions on how to use various aspects of the device ranging from basics such as learning how to find out the weather each day, or checking the latest news, or even how to help control the functions of your home. This is a great and quick read and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about these fascinating new devices.

Better than I feared

Many times the guides that has no information that can't be gleaned from obscure sources like the product name. This guy knows his stuff and presents it nicely. Not a native English speaker but it rarely shows and doesn't get in the way. So good book. I recommend it if you are looking for something like this. Nice job Quentin.
