A straight forward way to learn the rule of evidence. All the "cases" in the book are boiled down to blurbs. And the whole book focuses mostly on the rules themselves. It was an easy read. The easiest of law school yet!

A delightful accent on real cases! I did not have any home-made parenthetical cases to read. Just real events!

This was my favorite law textbook so far! We have no say in our textbooks so this review doesn’t really matter, but it’s always great to read (and enjoy) a book written by one of OSU’s professors!

Good for learning the Federal Rules of Evidence with plenty of examples for application/analysis. I really like the additional materials that come with the e-book resources which are immensely useful for reviewing and learning the material. These include simulations, videos, mutiple choice quizzes, practice essay, etc.

This textbook makes learning evidence almost easy! Most chapters are fairly small, which makes the information easy to digest. The writing is also really well done and is very easy to understand. I also appreciate the frequent examples to illustrate the concepts. One of my favorite textbooks in law school so far!
