His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock was a beautiful and heartwarming read.

The storyline was well written, the characters were strong, passionate and very relatable.
From the first few pages I knew this was going to be a good read.
I easily connected with Maresa and my heart went out to her. She had so much going on in her life and not once did she think of putting her needs in front of her family's. To her family was always number one. I loved her heart and her honesty.
Cameron's character took a little longer for me to connect with, but slowly I started seeing the real man behind the harda** he was portraying.
He had a huge heart who only wanted the best for Maresa.
These two might not have been looking for love but they had met their soul mate in each other.
I loved them together and had no doubt they would have a long and happy life together.

His Accidental Heir is a lovely and emotional read and I highly recommend it.

His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock is a delightful contemporary romance with a Caribbean flair. Part of the MacNeil Magnates series, it’s Cameron’s turn to find a partner. He just doesn’t expect it to happen while on an undercover assignment!

Cameron gets to play the part of fussy and demanding Mr. Holmes, a guest at the Carib Grand resort newly purchased by the MacNeill’s as part of the their hotel empire. He’s there to investigate some recent negative reviews of the hotel, and knows that coming in as himself will make the staff give him extra attention . He’s determined to ignore the immediate attraction he feels for Maresa Delphine, the hotel concierge. After all he’s her boss, even if he’s ‘in disguise’.

Maresa is used to putting up with all manner of guests, but can admit to herself that she’s dismayed to find herself attracted to one as rude as Mr. Holmes. But her life takes on a dramatic turn very quickly, when she becomes responsible for the ten week old daughter of her brain damaged brother. Cameron happens to be there when the baby is literally delivered into her arms, and can’t keep up the façade of his character when he sees the predicament Maresa is in. Once he reveals his identity and they spend some time together, he offers her a proposal – marry him for a year. He’ll get to fulfill the terms of his grandfather’s will to inherit some of his family fortune and in return he will help her with all her family obligations, including caring for baby Isla.

Maresa is tempted by the offer, and the chance to provide for her family. It doesn’t hurt that she and Cameron clearly have a sizzling sexual chemistry. But she’s afraid she’ll end up giving him her heart too. What will happen when the one year time limit of their marriage is up?

This is the third installment in the McNeill brothers' series about sexy hotel magnates who're forced to marry to retain their hold on their family legacy (a tired trope, I will admit. But when done well, it makes for a hell of a read).

Again, as much as I wanted to love the book, I could barely grow a fondness for the story.

Cameron is a sweetheart by nature, and his characters is well fleshed out. I liked him.

Maresa (called Maria once, I believe) is an okay character, personality-wise, but her physical description confuses me. The way Cameron describes her, I can't tell if she's brown/caramel skinned like a native Islander, or if she's just tan. So, I spent the book wondering how to picture her.

The biggest issue I had with the book was how it completely lacked a critical moment--that moment when the relationship the two MCs are building is put at risk. Everything just flowed evenly, with little depth or emotion. I wanted to feel the angst and fear Maresa was feeling after having a baby dropped in her lap. Sure, I read that she was upset and overwrought, but I didn't feel it.

Also, the whole secondary plot about the secret beach meetings fell flat with the off-screen resolution. It was a wasted opportunity to bring a little friction into the story that was obviously missing from the plot.

I love Joanne Rock, her books are wonderful time killers. I just wish this series was a little more...emotionally tangible.

Cam turned out to be nothing like I imagined. He hid his complexities well. The playboy billionaire turned out to have his own set of demons that he hid quite well. The reckless and fearless tycoon, turned out to have one nick in his armor. The fear of not being good enough. Despite all his accomplishments, he saw himself as the weak link in the McNeill dynasty and he turned out to be much stronger than he knew. When a recent acquisition leads to events that rock his world, Cam finds himself discovering in his weakest moments, what his strengths really are. Maresa is a great heroine and a perfect counterpart to Cam. She humanizes him and he completes her. His Accidental Heir ended up surprising me.

I received a free copy of this book through netgalley and voluntarily reviewed it.

I've been enjoying this series so far, so I was looking forward to this third book that follows the last brother Cam and meeting the person he'll fall in love with. This was a great read, it was easy to fall into this story and I enjoyed seeing these two fall in love.

His Accidental Heir features Cam, who has always been the most impulse of the three brothers, although now that we actually get his point of view, he did seem a bit less so. But at the same time I felt like we got a better view of him less overshadowed by that one personality trait, but it was still there. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Cameron because of his impulse action in the first book, but I was surprised by how loving and caring he could be. He was so good with Maresa and caring for her family as well. And I liked how at the end of the book he realized a broadened meaning of the term family was a good thing. I also liked the dog who Cam was caring for in this book.

Maresa is the female main character here, she was a very capable character who worked hard and cared very much about her family. There's a instant attraction when she meets Cameron, but it takes a while before they act upon it. She has had a tough life and now an infant is dropped in her lap and I was impressed she handled it all so well and stayed caring and nice.

There is a tad of forbidden romance as he's technically her boss, besides that there's very little drama or conflict, which was nice. I did roll my eyes when Cam made the same "mistake" as his brother's did in the previous books. It just got a bit old and I had rather seen another plot point used as conflict.

I enjoyed this book. It was fun to see a short scene at the end where we saw the other brothers and their wives. I had hoped to meet the "other" McNeill's in this book, but that wasn't the case. I am happy to hear they all get their own book and this book will get 3 more books. If you're looking for a good solid romance with great characters I would recommend this series.

To summarize: this was another good book in this series. I liked getting to know the third brother, Cam. I wasn't sure if I would like him because of something that happened in book 1, but I was pleasantly surprised by his character and how nice and caring he was. I also liked Maresa, she has a lot going on, but she handled everything well and stays nice and caring. I liked reading about these two falling in love, although I didn't really care for the conflict as it was basically the same conflict point the previous two books used. But overall this is a fun series with solid romances and I am glad there will be 3 more books.

His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock is the second book in The McNeill Magnates miniseries and I must say this story was pure joy to read. Cameron was a wonderful hero and the banter shared between him and Maresa Delphine was engaging, witty and outright natural. The back-story easily added depth and raw emotions meanwhile Ms. Rock’s eye for detail made my reading experience as flawless and entertaining as possible. Overall, His Accidental Heir is a wonderful read and one I’d definitely recommend!

Feel-good romance at it’s best! The McNeill brothers are strong, powerful and take-charge kind of guys … but they are falling hard and becoming teddy bears as love crosses each of their paths! We saw Cameron heading out on a tear in the first book in the series, and now it’s finally his story. A sexy bachelor with a heart of gold reaches out to help a wounded soul. Looking forward to seeing what happens when more family is brought into the series!

When Cameron McNeill goes in undercover as a demanding guest at the latest McNeill Resorts acquisition in the Caribbean, he just plans to find out what is making their customer satisfaction scores go down lately. He doesn’t expect to fall under the spell of the lovely concierge Maresa Delphine, but he can’t deny his attraction to her … but first and foremost, he needs her help!

Maresa is dealing with one thing after another with her ailing family, and she’s just been handed an infant to raise on top of everything else. She is overwhelmed to say the least. When Cameron offers her a way to make ends meet more easily while progressing the health of those around her, how can she refuse … even if it does require becoming his bride for a year!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
The Magnate's Mail-Order Bride (The McNeill Magnates #1)
The Magnate's Marriage Merger

This is Maresa and Cameron’s story. When Cameron realizes, there are problems at his prized island property he goes undercover to root them out. What he finds is a struggling single mother who he wants. She is smart and beautiful and could help him weed out the problem but could also help him with the terms of his grandfather’s will. Can he trust her enough to marry her for the terms of the will? Maresa is trying to care for her infant niece and take care of the demanding mystery guest. What happens when she finds out just who the mystery guest is? Will she be able to trust him again? He wants marriage but does she trust him to take care of her and her niece? Or will he leave her?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Learning she has a niece is overwhelming for Maresa Delphine, especially since her brother is the father; a brother that isn't well enough to care for his own child. So, caring for the baby while working to help owner Cameron McNeill discover why his island property isn't doing as well as it should be, she's taken by surprise when he proposes marriage. Certainly, marriage will solve both their problems in Cameron fulfilling the terms of his grandfather's will while Maresa will be able to get her brother the care he needs. Will their marriage of convenience be just that, or will their marriage end up being one filled with love like she always hoped when she said the words 'I do'?

What an extremely entertaining, fast-paced, wonderful read Ms. Rock has penned in this story encompassing the marriage of convenience trope, a hero looking to solve the problems his family resort is having, and a heroine that discovers she's an aunt and now the guardian of a baby. The way this story started had me hooked because Cameron needs to discover what is going on at the resort, and he believes the only way to do that is to go undercover. Will he be able to discover the information he needs to help turn things around at the resort? Will Maresa and her business smarts be able to help him uncover the information?

As for the dialogue, it was riveting and drew me into the story due to the obstacles this couple faced on their journey to happy ever after and the main characters back stories, especially that of the heroine. She's been through so much and I could understand why she's a tad hesitant to give Cameron a chance, because of how things turned out with her ex and how it took her time to recover from their break-up. Moreover, the heroine is strong and brave in being able to deal with everything she has to such as becoming a guardian to a baby and taking care of her family after the car accident her brother and mother were in that left her brother with a terrible brain injury. Will Cameron's marriage proposal be able to help her get the help her brother needs to recover better? Furthermore, I also liked how determined the heroine was in making certain she did a good job as concierge of the island property.

While Cameron, he's had it tough over the years with his accident due to his reckless ways and then the scandal he was involved in when he proposed to a woman that turned him down in front of a crowd. Yet, he's determined to fulfill the terms of his grandfather's will and Maresa is the ideal woman to help him. Will she agree to the terms he asks of her? Furthermore, I liked how determined the hero was to turn things around at the resort. However, it isn't easy to discover the problems he needs to without a little help and I liked that he wasn't afraid to admit his true identity to Maresa. How did he know he could trust her? Yet, what I liked most about the hero is the bond he shared with Maresa's niece, especially since he believed kids were never part of his future due to what happened to him years ago.

Finally, the way this story ended was heartwarming and made me love the hero even more than I already did because he was willing to fight for his future with the heroine. Then again, they have so much chemistry that shouldn't be denied and deserve all the happiness they've found. The beautiful words Cameron says to Maresa to declare his true feelings brought happy tears to my eyes, and illustrated how much he wants more than a marriage of convenience. I would recommend His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock, if you have read the other McNeill brothers stories, or if you enjoy the marriage of convenience trope or books by authors Cat Schield, Dani Wade, Joss Wood or Kat Cantrell.

His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock is the third book in the McNeill Magnates series and is also available in Love Islands Collection by Mills & Boon.

Cameron McNeill is a property developer and hotel owner. When something is amiss at one of his hotels he decides to go undercover as a stroppy customer to see who or what could be the reason behind it. He is also in need of a wife. His grandfather wants to see all his grandsons married and for them to stay married for at least 12 months in order for them to stay in his will. As he is quite old and unwell it is imperative that Cameron finds a wife and soon.

Maresa Delphine is the concierge at Cameron's hotel. She's not got an easy lot, she has a brother that is recovering from an accident and has been brain damaged, and she also has to look after her mother who has MS and is getting worse and worse all the time. Then she finds herself a single mother when she is given a baby that her brother fathered before the accident and who he is in no way capable of looking after. She needs her job in order to keep a roof over their heads and she's struggling.

Maresa and Cameron work closely together to try to uncover the problems at the hotel and during that time they find they are very much attracted to each other, physically especially. Cameron realises that he has found the perfect solution to both of their problems. If Maresa agrees to marry him for a year he would have met his grandfather's will stipulations and Maresa could have his help with paying for her brother to have specialist care, her mother to have expensive treatment, and for around the clock help with the baby. Then, of course, there would be plenty of sex for them which neither of them can deny wanting.

The problem is Maresa is in fear of losing her heart and doesn't know if she would survive giving Cameron up at the end of the 12 months. But how can she possibly turn down the chance of all the help marrying Cameron would bring for her family?

I enjoyed this story not least because of its beautiful setting. The opulence of the place was described so well I could picture myself there. I was moved by the relationship developing between Cameron and Maresa and was particularly pleased that finally if she accepts the marriage proposal, she would have help with the burden of her family. The book was a nice quick easy read and had the perfect ending.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

What a delightful story!
From the first moment, the author paints such a vivid and clear images of the beautiful tropical paradise making it effortless to submerge into the scenes and live in the moment with the charming characters, forgetting everything around you, just focusing on the story.
Maresa Delphine is a champion of a woman, a true heroine. She willingly put her own life to the side to take care of her family, and carry the responsibility of her mother and brother, even her niece, when the need arisen. Yet she was able to perform in her demanding job in a stellar way, never avoiding a responsibility. I admired her strength, her spunk, her artful way to serve others around her humbly, yet with a thankful and uplifting spirit.
Cameron McNeill was a hunk of a hero! I so wish now that I had read the book one in the series because I know he had a secondary role in the story and I loved him! He is a Knight in shining armor. So thoughtful, helpful, kind, and considerate, while a shark of a businessman, smart and successful. His mornings with the baby had me swooning big time, him lifting her in his arms for the first time was such a tender and sweet moment.
Maresa and Cameron were setting off some serious sparks. I loved the ease of them being together, they fit, the connection was authentic, the attraction palpable, and their feelings towards each other believable though instant.
While the story does confront several types of family drama and trouble, mostly the tone is joyful and lively, a story that makes you smile and sigh with sunny and cheerful thoughts, just what I needed when I picked up the book. And there is a Finn in a walk-on role at the resort! Oh, that just made my day because it is the little things in life that matter, and that felt like a warm hug!
If you are looking for a vacation reading material, I would recommend getting the whole series with you, because if the weather does not co-operate with sunny days, these stories will deliver it for sure!

Ok these books are getting more and more good and this is something I like very much. Now this is Cameron’s story, he’s the youngest of the McNeill men, or so we think.
In the last book which i didn’t reveal and I apologize, the Brothers fine out that their dad had a whole new family of three boys, while still married to the older McNeill’s mother, which explains why their mother divorced their dad.
Cameron was so distraught more because he lied to his mother and he’s the real reason why their mother walked away. But in this book Cam wanted to find them and see what they were about but he decided to make a stop at a resort that and do some investigations as to why the resort isn’t performing great when it comes to customer service and sales. Anyway he goes “undercover boss” style and is highly demanding with a new last name, he meets Maresa and the rest is history!

What I love about the story is the fact that there are two people who are very passionate about each other who seriously care about each other and they work so well as a team to help each other out, like Cameron says in the book “we make a great team” and they do. But towards the end of it all Cameron realizes that he cares about her that he loves her and he wants to be with her and of course she wants to saying she has been wanting the same since their first night together. All in all I love her story I love the fact that he used to be a daredevil and how he changed his life around for the better and it’s a great thing because in the first book I thought of him to be very obnoxious and very self-centered but it’s great to see that his character has changed and has evolved. All in all this was a very good read.

This book approaches a large variety of themes, but only scratches the surface. It is a 3.5 read for me, but I definitely enjoyed my time reading it. Both characters are strong and both know exactly what they want and what they expect from their partner. I would have wanted a more developed story, as the plot has a lot of potential.

Maresa and Cameron lead totally different lives. While she has to sustain her sick mother and brother not only financially, but morally as well, Cameron has had a life with all he could have wanted, except an absentee father. But he does have brothers he can count on, a grandfather who has become his role model and a fortune envied by many. They meet under false pretenses, but as soon as the veil comes off, they start a different kind of relationship.

What I mostly liked about the story was the numerous themes it approaches. But this was also the thing that made me not like it a little bit, because all these themes are so well mixed and it could have become so much more. We have two different kinds of families: Maresa’s, that above all other issues, has to accept a baby, and Cameron’s, that has to accept the family they never knew about. Also, we have a character that has a brain problem, so we have an acceptance issue. We have child abandonment and some other smaller ones. The way all this blends into the romance building between our protagonists is absolutely divine.

This was an easy and quick read. I had my moments of laughter and also moments of confusion, together with the characters. The writing did catch my attention and I was quickly captured by each page.

I've read this entire series and I couldn't wait for Cam's book. Considering what happened in the first book with Sophia, I couldn't wait for a woman to truly knock his shoes off.

This book is a slow build in the romance department. It isn't instalove or the burning desire to bed Maresa. At least not at first. There is a mutual respect that builds and trust. Cam needs her to help him figure out what is going on with his resort and she doesn't need his help when it comes to her niece. Oh yes, she resists...just a little bit.

Maresa is a great heroine. Proud, smart, caring and doing for others way before herself. Selfless is what I would call her. Cam hit her like a ton of bricks. If I had one complaint is that even though this book is written in 3rd person, I still didn't understand all of Maresa's motivations for being with Cam in the end. Sure, he was going to help her brother, mother and ultimately Isla but what was really in it for her.

Overall, I really liked this story. I can't wait to see how the "other" McNeill's will come into play. We are only given a scene of Cam going to see them and that's it. Even when he meets up with Ian and Quinn, they really don't talk about it. The best scene in the book was in the end when she meets Sofia and Lydia and she finds out something about Cam. He He!

I can't wait to read about the "other" McNeill's this fall/winter.

This was my first read by Joanne Rock it I have always loved romances that involve billionaires – and who doesn’t like a good surprise baby book? – so I was so excited for the chance to read and review this.
This book follow Maresa who has unexpectedly become a mother to her brother’s daughter. She’s trying to juggle a full time job, her mother’s illness and her brother’s injury – now a baby is added to the mix? So much stress! Cameron is going in as an undercover boss pretending to be a high-maintenance guest at his hotel to see if he can figure out what is causing the decline in revenue; this puts him in close quarters with Maresa and the intense chemistry that they both feel almost instantly.
I don’t want to spoil the ending so I won’t go into anymore detail but I will say that I loved this book. I read through it so quickly I went back and re-read it again to make sure I didn’t miss anything. The pace of the book is good but as the reader we get so into it we just finish the book so quickly. I haven’t read any of her other books but I might go check them out. This book had enough drama to offset the romance & make it a well rounded read. The characters are well developed and very relatable to the readers (well maybe not the billionaire aspect but the personalities are). If you get the chance to read this – I highly recommend it.

This was a good read.  It was filled with hope and also love.  There was a love for family but not only family but also chemistry that turns into romance that turns into love.

Maresa is a beautiful and compassionate woman that loves her family.  Her brother Rafe works with her and she makes sure that she keeps a close eye of him since his accident.  Now with a new guest that will be staying at the hotel she knows that she is going to have to be extra vigilant but she never would have thought she would be caring for a little bundle of joy.  Cameron is a great man and I'm glad that he was able to come clean to Maresa.  He needed to figure out what was happening at their hotel and maybe Maresa would be the perfect person to count on. He is attracted to Maresa but he also needs to remember that he is her boss.  It's not only him that is attracted to her but she is attracted to him also so when his proposal happens can she accept his proposal of being married for one year.  She needs the help especially now with taking care of not only her mother and brother but also her niece.

His Accidental Heir was a delight to read.  I'm going to have to go back to read the beginning of this series to see who else got their happily ever after.

“His Accidental Heir” is book 3 in Joanne Rock’s The McNeill Magnates miniseries and this time we get to watch Cameron (the youngest McNeill) fall in love.

Cam has been considered by his brothers to be impulsive and reckless and he even thought of himself that way. But Cam is more than that. He cares about family and is protective of those that may not be “true” family but family all the same. We see this in the way he is with Maresa Delphine – concierge of the hotel the McNeill’s recently purchased and where Cam goes undercover to figure out why the hotel isn’t doing as well as it should.
Maresa puts her family above her own needs. Her mother’s disability, her brother’s traumatic brain injury, and her newfound niece. Then she meets Cam and is willing to give in for what she wants for once.

The chemistry between these two is hotter than the Caribbean sun. We watch as Cam realizes he is more like his grandfather and Maresa realizes she deserves happiness just like the happiness she tries to create for others.

I loved Cam and Maresa’s story and am excited to learn we haven’t seen the last of the McNeill’s. I can’t wait to meet Damon, Gabe, and Jager and see what Ms. Rock has in store for the “other” McNeill’s.

This is book #3, in The McNeill Magnates series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order.

Cameron has already made a mess of proposing to a stranger in the past. When he meets the real person he thinks he should marry, he wonders, is it for the right reasons? They are already compatible. Cannot keep their hands off one another.

Maresa is in the middle of so much. She is the anchor for all around her. Can she give in to what she wants or needs at the sake of so many others? Or will being with Cam be the one thing that pulls it all together? For the sake of her family and her heart she must keep it all together.

This series has been just terrific! My only complaint, was that this book felt rushed somehow. I love the characters, and really enjoyed the recurring favorites in this title as well. I sure hope we see more of these McNeill's!

Who are Rafe & Maresa? Where are they located? What do they do? Who is Mr. Holmes? Well, Mr. Holmes' arrival and what I learned about him was a complete surprise. The tension between Maresa and Mr. Holmes is palpable in the first chapter alone! Who is Jaden Torries? What bombshell does he drop on Maresa the day after Mr. Holmes arrived? Why does Jaden take off quickly? I have to say, I really like Cam. My heart breaks for Rafe, especially after being introduced to Isla. All I can say is I wish things happened like what I read in this book in real life. Talk about Prince Charming in disguise, or maybe the knight in shining armor coming to the rescue. Wow! Cameron goes undercover at one of his resorts to find out why the numbers aren't adding up. Customer reviews are down and the manager isn't helping. When he meets the concierge, Maresa, he's intrigued. Maresa has so much on her plate and yet appears cool and calm. Cameron decides to tell her who he is, so he can enlist her help.

This was a sweet story with a strong emphasis on the importance of family. It includes romance, a tiny bit of intrigue, and emotions. It is in a series and I did feel like I was missing a few pieces to the overall story. But this didn't detract from the main plot. Overall, it was a quick read that I enjoyed. It doesn't have a lot of depth, but made for some fun, entertaining reading.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts expressed are my own.

This was my first read of Joann’s & I thoroughly enjoyed it . While a part of a series ,I actually did not feel like I missed a beat with other characters mentioned etc. Joann did a wonderful job describing the setting of the resort island ! Cameron & Maresa were enjoyable to read about given their jobs and how they came to work along side one another! I liked the Rafe back story which kind of was a Main theme given the plot! Anytime a medical illness or situation plays an important role in a book I’m ALL IN! The romance between Cam and Maresa was quite telling how it ended up unfolding as well! Ilsa & Cam made my heart melt! Much appreciation for the research that Joann must have done for this also! I loved the HEA & I’m quite intrigued to learn about any of the other books in this series !

While a definite buy buy buy book, it has a few quirks that maybe readers will not like. One is the pace of the story. However, all in all a good read! I loved the characters. I enjoyed the story line and had such a range of emotions as I was reading that it is hard to be fair in the review now. Arguably it should be four stars, HOWEVER, due to the fact the characters were wonderful, it has compassion, passion, heart and soul and real life situations I gave five stars! I so enjoyed the book that it was hard for me not to want more to happen or more to continue in the story itself. I will look at the others in the series for this was definitely a read I enjoyed. A hearttouching read. I was given this book in return for a honest review. Anna

There is something about seeing a big strong man felled by a smiling 12-lbs bundle of joy (be it human, canine, or feline) that gets me every time. Such is the case in Joanne Rock’s latest, His Accidental Heir, as Cameron McNeill falls hard for Maresa Delphine and her niece Isla. The most impulsive McNeill, I think Cameron is also the one with the biggest heart so it was fun watching him fall for this ready-made family. The story sizzles with all of Rock’s trademark chemistry and heart. You can easily pick this one up without reading the first two in the series. It is the perfect escape from a hot summer day. I am very much looking forward to more McNeill’s next year.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

When I was in high school, I really enjoyed the Harlequin Romance books and it's been a little while since I have read any of them. This book is book #3 in the McNeill Magnates series. There's just something about a grown ass man being brought to his knees by a baby. This happened to Cameron as he fell hard for Maresa Delphine and her little niece Isla.
This is one of those books that while they are a part of a series, they can be picked up and read with out having to read the previous books, which is nice. I read this book in the time span of a couple of hours. The kids went to bed last night and I started it and didn't put it down until I finished it. I just couldn't. Thanks to Tasty Book Tours for the free copy of the book in exchange for my honest opinion!

The Boss's Baby Bargain When (resort developer) Cameron McNeill goes undercover to root out problems at his prized island property, his first discovery is the irresistible (concierge), Maresa Delphine. Her business smarts are vital to his mission. But the struggling single aunt could help with his personal mission, too: fulfilling the marriage terms of his grandfather's will. Maresa is overwhelmed caring for her infant niece, her mom with MS, and her brother Rafe with a traumatic brain injury, and tending to the demands of the resort's sexy mystery guest. When he reveals himself as the owner, she's thrown for a loop. But when he proposes offering her all the things she’s struggled to provide for her family…can she resist his brand of trouble in paradise?

This was a sweet story between Maresa and Cam that was heartwarming and feel good. I enjoyed reading the banter between the two characters and watching them fall quickly for each other. At moments I felt like the story line was moving along a little too quickly and things were wrapped on the sidelines and only briefly mentioned (manager making extra money on the side at the cost of guests, Cam's half brothers his father had, baby Isla showing up, etc). Overall, it was sweet to see two characters who always seem to put others before them find their happy ending together. I read this book first and will definitely have to go back and read the first two to learn more about the characters!

I won this book. Book 3 of the series. Cam goes under cover to discover why this resort is not getting favorable responses. Once he starts working with Maresa he learns of all the family issues she has on her shoulders. He offers her help if she will marry him for one year to satisfy his grandfather's will. Maresa has many issues with this but her problems are overwhelming and she is also falling for Cam. Could she survive leaving him after a year?

I enjoyed this Romance. I purchased this from a library sale and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating but this is not for the under 18 readers. There were a few twists and turns in this, and it certainly had romance in it. It had a nice feel good ending to it. Only part that I did not like was the bad character wasn't pointed out till the very end.

At first, I wasn't sure if I would like Cam. He came across as your typical cold/heartless SOB hero, but he grew on me as the story progressed. In fact, I was surprised how good this read was. Cam & Maresa had great chemistry and I loved how baby Isla stole his heart.

A warm, loving tale of a woman who is the ultimate caretaker and the man who cannot resist her. She takes lifetime care of her mother, brain-damaged brother and now, her infant niece. He wants to take lifetime care of her - and them. This one will definitely leave a nice feeling in your heart.
