Another enjoyable short story! Just the type of story if you just want to relax and feel good.

The story is about Ryker and Aria.

He was a Marine fighter pilot and best friends with Aria's father. She's a senior college student and he's the reason why she's studying aviation.

There's a weekend program but was cancelled due to other participants' flights being cancelled so they just spent the weekend together.

After the weekend, they needed to go back which means go their separate ways. But Ryker will do everything to be with her again.

It has a nice epilogue Engaged and pregnant and an extended epilogue. Marriage with children

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Aria Miller and Ryker Bell. Ryker has come to California for a conference but that is not the only reason he is speaking here. He knows the woman he really wants to see will be there. This woman is his best friends daughter, a man who is more like a brother to him than friend. He knows what he wants though now it is time to get it. Aria can't believe she will see Ryker again she hopes but isn't sure it will happen. He is the one man she knows she want to have all of her. She wonders though if he feels the same. Can these two have a HEA or will the distance apart and family make that impossible?

This is an amazing book. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This is another great, fast paced read by Flora Ferrari. It's about an older man, Ryker, who is an ex Marine fighter pilot who was brothers in arms with his best friend for over twenty years. Three years ago he met his best friends young daughter, Aria, who was 18 years old and he fell head over heals for her but she was too young. Little did he realise that the =feelings were mutual. She even invited him to her 21st birthday party but he never got the invitation so she was upset when he didn't attend. But when they do meet in San Diego for a conference on aeronautical engineering and the conference is cancelled due to severe weather, what are they to do to keep themselves occupied? I will leave the rest up to your imagination but it is RED HOT just as you'd expect from a story by Flora. Great fast paced quick read that I read in one go. I am delighted to report that my kindle is still in fully working order and did not burst into flames when these two indulged in their passions for each other ;) A thoroughly enjoyable story. Ryker is a former Marine pilot and he is starting a new chapter in his life. Aria is his best friend's daughter and the one person in the world he has wanted but been unable to get. Aria has had feelings for her dad's best friend for years. She's even followed a career path like his. When she runs into him again she is stunned especially when she see the interest in his eyes. Ryker isn't about to let her slip through his fingers this time and sets about his pursuit. What will her father think of them being together? Will them being together both either's career paths?


This is a steamy story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger romance between Aria and Ryker. Ryker is a retired fighter pilot and is known for writing books and his speaking engagements. Aria is a college student who is studying aviation. Aria's father and Ryker are best friends and Ryker wants Aria to be his. When Aria goes to hear Ryker speak, she thinks it is the time to tell him how she feels about him. Ryker accepts a position teaching at the college and knows it is time to tell Aria's parents he loves Aria. This was a good steamy book. I love Aria and Ryker both wanted tobe together from the start. I also liked Ryker wanted to be the one to tell her parents. Good one.

Aria met Ryker when she was 18, and she’s carried a torch for him for three years now. This weekend she’s attending a seminar he’s giving and she has plans to go for it with him.
Ryker has wanted Aria since her first met her, but she was just 18 and she needed time to grow up some more. He’s waited three years for her and he’s not waiting another minute. He’s doing a seminar this weekend just because it ensures that he’ll see her. First, he’ll claim his woman. Second, he’ll deal with her dad’s reaction—his best friend won’t take this well.

Really liked this story. Makes you believe there is always someone for everyone. Ryker knows the woman he wants, Aria, his best friend's daughter. She's 20 years his junior, but she's in aviation like him, intelligent and sexy. He is going to make her his forever. She's wanted Ryker since she met him 3 years ago, but doesn't know he wants her...yet. Light on conflict and resolution, but heavy on the hot and sexy! Great ending!!

This is a simply lovely short romance between an older man and a younger woman who share as much as is possible given the age difference an occupation and interests. It is rather short so you can read it in less than two hours. This story is about aviation and pilots so if that field is a bit of interest dive right in with a good cup of coffee.

What would you do if they showed interest in you. This is a prefect sexy read and when you read Flora you know that is what your going to get. Hot and sexy

A very well written enjoyable short story. As always captivating and has a nice storyline and plot. I like the characters and how they develop.
A professor that goes for what he wants. His mission is now to make her his. They have a great chemistry and I like how they fit each other.
A story that is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
Epilogues are very welcome because they end the story in a fine way.

Good One

I really liked this one. A former military pilot and current public speaker and teacher falls for the daughter of his friend. It’s smooth flow throughout the story and the characters were very entertaining. I have enjoyed reading this series and will see if I can get through all of them. I can appreciate the fact that there is no indecision about the two being a couple. Once passion is declared, then game on!

Ryker and Aria

Nice short insta-love story about a marine fighter pilot and a senior college student. Ryker is in town for a conference but his real motive is Aria, his best friend's daughter. He knows she is the one for him and he us ready to make his move. Aria gas been in love with Ryker since she met him and she is ready to najer her move, also. Great plot, likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended

DNF’d at 39%. It was awful- no lead up to anything, just both dying to get in each other’s pants but we don’t know anything about their history besides that she’s his friends’ daughter. I’ve read plenty of smutty romance but this book tried to have a plot, so I was expecting more. She’s maybe a virgin but she wants him to choke her? That’s when I was like, ok this is a big mess, time to give up.

Quick and sweet read. Ryker and Aria are a hot and sexy couple. H met her three years ago briefly and has waited until now to go after what he wants and what Ryker wants is Aria. He knows that she is the one and they share a lot of common interests. Including their love of science and finding new ways to improve aircrafts to make them preform better. A fun and entertaining read. Enjoyed the HEA

A quick military style pod of steamyness that just might get you in the mood to
watch TOP GUN" when you've finished. It was steamy, and not too over-the-top and you actually kind of liked the main characters and hoped they'd get a HEA without getting killed
by anyone they knew! It was good so when you get a chance to check it out do so.
It's a really quick read.
