This is a fun read that centers on the movie making magic that is Hollywood. Good girl, Erin is just doing her job which is to help Vance, Hollywood’s Bad Boy. They are on an epic war movie that will relaunch Vance's career. While working together, Vance ends up saving Erin and some photographer gets a photo and leaks it to the press. Vance’s manger sees a perfect opportunity for some good PR and sets about getting Vance to take Erin on as his personal PA. From there Vance sees this as a chance to take Erin on dates and get good press/PR. Only problem is, he comes to realize he really likes Erin and wants to continue seeing her – like really seeing her, not any of the fake dates he has been taking her on. What will happen when Erin finds out what Vance has been doing? And trust me, she will? Will she forgive Vance? This is a good read about not knowing what you truly have until you lose it. The passion and the excitement come across really well, as does the angst and the pain. I liked this story and I would really recommend this book.

This is my third book by Lucy Lambert and it was good but not as good as her other books. The description for Vance in my head didn't really match up to the cover photo, but not a big deal. I really liked Vance as a character. He's got the whole bad boy persona down pat, but inside, he's really a big teddy bear. I appreciated that he wasn't afraid to show his tender side. I didn't, however, care for Erin's character. She has a major crush on Vance until he publicly dumps his previous girlfriend, another actress. Then, she has nothing but disdain for him. I couldn't help but wonder why she's so mad at him. She doesn't know him for one, no one really can know a celebrity, and really, what business is it of hers? The sex scenes were good, hot, and well written, but I could have done without Erin. I don't know, something about her got on my nerves. However, because I liked Vance and the book itself was good, I'm only taking off one star. I recommend it. Perhaps I just don't like her because I can't relate to her and her obsession with him as a celebrity figure as myself don't obsess over celebrities.

Erin Paige is working on a film set as a PA as part of her schooling. Vance Tracker is the star of the movie Erin is working on. He has a PR problem after he dumped his girlfriend on a talk show. Erin literally falls into Vance’s arms after an accident with a ladder. His co-star Linda is trying to Erin sacked so Vance takes Erin to be his personnel PA. There is chemistry between Erin and Vance, but with Vance’s agents pushing for an arranged relationship, Linda and a co-worker of Erin’s as well as the paparazzi do they get their HEA?

Vance is a movie star romance written by author Lucy Lambert. Vance is the definition of a bad boy. However, he does not have a stellar reputation and needs to change it following his break-up, on TV, with his ex. Enter Erin, the girl who is going to change everything. The chemistry is dynamic. The writing is beautifully done and it's a good story.

************* I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and this did not sway my opinion in any way possible. *************

This is the second book that I have read by this author and I have to say that I didn't like it as much as I liked Dash. There just felt like something was missing for me in the book. Don't get me wrong I really did like it, it was GOOD but I was irritated with how quick the romance went I guess. It was also kind of like Erin forgot herself and she didn't seem to check up on her family much but the plot was good. I was also irritated with Vance's co-star and Danny. Both of them just ticked me off to no end but Linda was just being a drama queen and Danny was jealous. Still let's not go after people because you are a drama queen and can't get your way. I wanted to flick her in the forehead and tell her to get the F over it FFS. Danny was so jealous of Vance that he forced himself on Erin and just ugh she should have smacked him, I would have. Makes me wonder how people deal with being in show biz, I would just be snapping at people and giving them a piece of my mind all the time. That would drive me nuts.....

So the coolest part of the book I would say would be when they were on the sets and shooting the scenes. The way that part was wrote was brilliant and made the book really interesting. It was kind of cool reading a behind the scenes book like that and it made you feel like you were right there. The western sets sounded really cool too ! Oh and the movie that the characters were shooting was pretty intriguing. It was like I was reading a book about a movie about a book.

I am giving this book 3 stars and it is really hard for me to do. So I guess I have a really hard time reviewing this book when it was so awesome but I still felt like something was missing. I still can't seem to figure out what that is because this book is great. Talk about being in between a rock and a hard place.

Vance is a movie star with a bad reputation especially after breaking up with his girlfriend on live tv. He needs a "new" girlfriend to help his image so he picks Erin, his movies PA.
The chemistry between the two is explosive and what started out as fake soon starts to become very real. This book is well written and quite a page turner. It is a good light read perfect for an afternoon escape!

I received this ARC book free in exchange for a voluntary honest review. Vance, bad boy movie star extraordinaire, he is hot and riding high among the stars in Hollywood. He loves living the life and does anything his agent asks him to do to come back from prior heartache and the near social suicide of breaking up with a old girlfriend on live TV. Erin is a shy woman who wants to live the dream of being a part of making movie magic. Currently working on the set of a movie, she gets asked to "fetch" the stars of the movie and bring them back to the set when they go off together. She does now know that this will be the pivotal moment in her life, causing jealousy, heartache and possibly love.

Vance: A Movie star romance by Lucy Lambert a sparkling five star read. This tells the story of a Movie star with a bad PR problem after her broke up with his last girlfriend on live TV making her a golden girl and him the devil himself Vance Tracker and Twenty-one-year-old Erin Page UCLA senior, who is working as a general PA on the movie set of Vance’s latest movie when they first meet he is the exact image she has in her head, a bad boy who doesn’t care about other people and just thinks of himself as a big star bossing everyone round on the set, that is until he surprises her a few weeks later when he defends her honour.
When Erin and her PA buddy Danny are hanging some background set dressing, and Erin must go up the ladder as even though Danny likes her, he doesn’t like her enough to go up a ladder for her due to his vertigo, this maybe something he later regrets, as when Erin leans over to far and falls off the ladder, she falls into Vance’s arms. Someone caught this on camera and sells it to the press. Vance’s manger sees a perfect opportunity for some good PR and sets about getting Vance to take Erin on as his personal PA and take her out on a date, gaining better PR. Only problem is Vance starts to like Erin and he doesn’t want to fake date her, he wants to really date her.
Only problem is as with all best laid plans Erin finds out, will Vance tell her in time so that it doesn’t blow up in his face? Will Erin ever be able to forgive that breach of trust? Would you be knowing someone started dating you for good PR? Will they get the happy movie ending? Or will this movie turn into more of a Greek tragedy.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I found this story to be a dark light on the Hollywood scene. It is about manipulation and hidden agendas where people can get hurt. It's theme seems to be, not everyone is what they are percieved to be.

This is a story about the relationshipo between a big Hollywood actor, Vance and the production assistant, Erin. They are working on an epic war movie that will relaunch Vance's career. It is told in their alternating points of view. I like this style particularly in this book because Vance's thoughts are critical to understanding his actions. As you read, you learn about their goals, vulnerabilities, and insecurities. You also learn which characters are Vance and Erin's true friends.

The strains of movie making and Hollywood 'machine' make it difficult for Erin while, Vance handles it like the pro that he is.

Some scenes are predicatable but, there are some surprises that kept me interested. I liked the story. I just have some lingering thoughts about how the characters behaved and reacted to certain situations.

Bad Boy, Good Girl:
Good girl, Erin is just doing her job, Hollywood's bad boy, Vance needs to salvage his reputation, and when the two meet sparks fly. What happens when Erin and Vance's feelings deepen, and Erin finds out the truth about their relationship? This is a must read, it's a page turner of hot, scorching embers that will ignite in your hands if you don't read it in one sitting.

This is a good story but dragged at times. Vance is the limelight in Hollywood and Erin is a student in one of the movie college. The chemistry between the two was somewhat unorthodox in many eyes but behind the lights was the truth. I enjoyed the book and the writing flowed well with a predictable storyline. This is the first reading by the author but not the last.

A fun romp through the movie-making magic. The chemistry between Vance and Erin, while a little unexpected was really sweet. I loved that there was so much more to Vance than what the media reported and I also loved that Erin was capable and willing to stand up for herself when needed. There were times where the story got a bit bogged down with the details of how to make a movie but overall it was an enjoyable read.

VANCE: A Movie Star Romance by Lucy Lambert was a very nice read. It did lag a bit in some spots but overall I really enjoyed it. The characters and their chemistry, not to mention the world the story is set in, totally helped with lag recovery and made it a nice way to spend a lazy hour or two hiding away from the world.

An ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

Vance: A Movie Star Romance was formulaic in presentation with a predictable outcome. Story dragged in places--I was ready for it to be over sooner than later.

While this one story didn't impress me, Lucy Lambert writes great books. I've read her work before and loved it, so if this one doesn't ring your bell--read some of her other work.

I enjoyed this book and the insight into movie making. It was a sweet story. Vance was a lovely guy playing a role even in his private moments. Erin was a young girl who wanted the movie star to start with but then wanted more. By the end of the book I wanted more. It took so long for them to see the way and I wanted more of them finally together facing the world.

Goods read

Vance is a high profile movie star, Erin is a lowly PA , can they find a balance between them.? I wasn't sure about Vance, it took a couple chapters for me to warm up to him. A fun romance. I really enjoyed the setting of the story with regards to the behind the scenes look at the movie industry. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC .

Vance is an actor who will do anything to keep his bad boy image that is until he meets Erin.At first he just wants to get into her pants but as time goes on he realizes that there might be something way more important then his bad boy image. I wont say no more just read the story cuz its really good. There are no cliffs in this story adn there is a HEA

I received this book as an ARC reader, I enjoyed both Vance and Italian Kiss.
I thought Vance was a little drawn out though. The chopping and changing between characters each chapter was a bit confusing but soon got used to the way it was written, as from the first person's view, which in itself was different.
Italian Kiss was fairly light and floaty, the characters easily likeable.

This was a good read but at times a little slow paced. Vance and Erin had great chemistry throughout. Can Erin figure out the difference between what's real and fake?
