This is my third book by Lucy Lambert and it was good but not as good as her other books. The description for Vance in my head didn't really match up to the cover photo, but not a big deal. I really liked Vance as a character. He's got the whole bad boy persona down pat, but inside, he's really a big teddy bear. I appreciated that he wasn't afraid to show his tender side. I didn't, however, care for Erin's character. She has a major crush on Vance until he publicly dumps his previous girlfriend, another actress. Then, she has nothing but disdain for him. I couldn't help but wonder why she's so mad at him. She doesn't know him for one, no one really can know a celebrity, and really, what business is it of hers? The sex scenes were good, hot, and well written, but I could have done without Erin. I don't know, something about her got on my nerves. However, because I liked Vance and the book itself was good, I'm only taking off one star. I recommend it. Perhaps I just don't like her because I can't relate to her and her obsession with him as a celebrity figure as myself don't obsess over celebrities.
