An angry prince. A pleased warlord. An enigma to unravel.
The warlord Kinthor finds a prince in the slave offering of a world he conquered. He’ll take the gorgeous man as his new comfort slave. The prince is furious, not at him, but at the royal court that conspired to throw him away. Prince Janus demands Kinthor helps him make things right.
Kinthor finds it amusing the prince thinks he can demand anything.
He’ll teach him what it means to be a Xen-Kroth’s comfort slave, particularly when that slave dares to be defiant. At the same time he investigates the court of the world he conquered, getting drawn into twisted intrigue that puts his own malevolent empire to shame.

I’m pretty sure that I would rather shoot myself in the head with a revolver than have to go through the pure pain of having to read this book again.
I really like how in your PUBLISHED book, that you PUT OUT on the internet, you couldn’t be even bothered to download Grammarly while writing it because there are several writing mistakes throughout.
On top of that, there are descriptions throughout the book of objects very vaguely just described as ‘the thing’. I don’t know what the fuck this character is being tied to and fucked on but I guess since the author couldn’t be bothered to describe it further than ‘the thing’ it must not be that important right?
And then, of course there’s the rapey-ness of it all, which I kind of expect from yaoi at this point. However, I didn’t expect for the author to go on a wholeass rant about how she doesn’t like the rape in yaoi books in the About The Author page in her yaoi book book ABOUT SEX SLAVES AND COERCION.
Oh, and the cherry on top is that for half of the book you have no clue what’s going on because it uses two different character as the same name. Since one of them is pretending to be the other, it makes sense, but it doesn’t make sense for the narrator to not know that? Or for it not to be eluded to at least a few times until much later on?
3/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

This is a weird one.
Yamila Abraham's writing is an acquired taste. The choices for describing sex are kind of astounding as they are pretty un-erotic yet remain explicit. The third person switch between POVs with no true indication of this, throwing in four different POVs, is also an interesting choice. Finally, this is couched with a lot more plot than expected.
There's a murder mystery, twists and turns that are kind of just, what? And a love story, somehow. Two of them! Two couples come of this book. There's actual world building too and I didn't feel too lost, though the whodunit took a few jumps.
It surprised me so much. I thought it was gonna be just weird, gay, alien porn. And it was, to some extent, but it wasn't weird and there was a murder mystery involved too, and well the sex scenes weren't even that long and much. I liked the different perspectives, and the different cultures. For such a short story, it was well written, the characters and the world too. I thought it was well paced and the end was also pleasing. Ah, such a lovely surprise! And of course the slave-prince-trope is beginning to become one of my favourite. (back since Captive Prince)
I dropped reading it💀 The plot was all over the place. I didn't even know what was going on anymore and instead just went straight to the porn scenes, and even then, the porn scenes were written in a peculiar way that wasn't enjoyable at all. I don’t like how this novel was written in general. This had so much potential just for it to be executed this way😬 I wanted to finish it for the sake of finishing it, but the grammar, the punctuation, the characters, and the messy POVs, it was just too much for me. I honestly only read it for the porn but even that was disappointing😭
I read Yamila Abraham's works for a little something sweet and sexy, a story that will never make me cry from any angle. It's a short story and easy to spoil so I'll just say it scared me for a bit. Like, I was scared that I was in for some real tears and fears. But don't worry. It's all fine and sexy and easy yaoi reading. The Warlord reminds me of Prince Lotor of Voltron, in manner really. The little guy is adorable.... Man... It's hard to not spoil it lol.
I loved it. Even though it was rushed and too short , I loved every minute. If it were longer and more developed I'd be obsessed and give it all the stars. There's so much potential that was looked over because everything plotwise was crammed together and cut short. It's a shame honestly, but if that's how the author wanted it to be then so be it. Like I said, regardless- it was an enjoyable read.
i enjoy this author's sexy, hot stories, wether set in a demon realm or in a sci fi setting like thus one. The dub con quickly morphs to mutual pleasure and affection...good time!
I really enjoyed this story. A well-written and captivating storyline with a slight mystery. Sexy scenes and interesting characters. Highly recommend it.
This was a very good read.a short sexy mystery. Keeps you guessing until the end. To be able to do so with a minimal amount of characters is impressive.
I liked this book a lot. The characters were very interesting when they were together. The twins were hilarious with their attempts at getting their way. Erin
Well done prince-as-sex-slave story with the happy addition of an intriguing mystery. Bonus . I liked all the characters. Despite some serious themes, the story never got too dark, which kept the narrative readable and easy to pick up. The enslaved prince was frequently exasperated with his captors, but rarely anguished. This was just the kind of book I needed at the moment.
The sex scenes and relationship in this one are traditional yaoi, be aware.
