The Game’s Not Over Until I Say It’s Over I'm Craig Robinson, star quarterback for the Worthington Wildcats college football team. I love nothing more than getting down and dirty on the field—and off!
An injury in the last game of the season finds me limping home alone when a chance meeting with sassy babe, Avery Shoemaker, changes my life forever... in more ways than one.
But my dreams are shattered when my father drops the biggest bombshell of my life on me—and it explodes in my face. Hurt on the inside as well as on the outside, Avery is the only one who can take away my pain—but she's pushing me away. Dealing with my new reality leaves me wondering if I'll ever be happy again.
With or without her.

Very disappointed this story ended the way it did with things not quite wrapped up......but yet no future book mentioned to finish they’re story....WTH!!
What a great holiday sports read. Craig and Avery made a perfect pair.
Craig the college football player who met up with Avery by happenstance after leaving a game had no idea his life would change. These two turned tit for tat into an art form.
I loved, loved their chemistry, and the their sexy interaction. Craig was not just the gorgeous jock, but you fell in love with his personality and heart. These two were a winner!!!
The author had a fabulous storyline, and I know everyone will enjoy this fun, flirty, and sexy read.
I voluntarily read an ARC in return for an honest review.
its supposed to be a sports romance but was more a stepbrother romance. which i dont mind but it should be properly labeled as there are more of that then there is actual college sports. it was a cute read but it did end a bit sudden and left you wondering a few things.i always enjoy amandas books and i did enjoy this one but was a bit surprised when it turned into a stepbrother romance and not true sports romance.
Craig is hot, gorgeous and the quarterback of the football team. Avery is the girl next door, who knows nothing about football, but can't keep his eyes off Craig, until he gets hurt and she leaves. On her way home she meets him struggling with his crutches on the side of the street, she decides to help him and their romance starts from there. This is a fun easy read, where you wish for more. I voluntarily reviewed this arc.
This story was awful for me. Some words used in the book made me cringe. I don’t understand why Craig was even written to be a football player… it really had nothing to do with the story. The parents were so out of touch with the kids that there was no reason the kids should have loved them the way the did. This book was not a fun read. I won’t be reading anymore from this author. This was the first and last.
I really liked this story and enjoyed the characters. My only problem with the story is the ending. It seems like there should be more to the ending, some form of conclusion. The book just seemed to end without one of the main problems solved and I want that closure. This isn't a cliffhanger, just not a complete ending.
It was a cute story. It was hot until the parents went a ruined a good time. Lol why not just tell the parents and be up front with then. They can't say no your adults and not related. Be up front at the beginning and go from there. The whole drunk situation was kind of funny that the girl got upset. As if she couldn't tell he was drunk.
Omg I loved how each character has made a different story line and how much fun they have together. I’ve never read a more unbelievable love story about opposites attracting more than this relationship and I loved every word and I can’t wait for more
Craig & Avery are too cute together! I love the fact that I couldn't guess the plot on this one, even though I tried really hard😁 Great book Ms. Amanda! 💋
This is a fun, sexy read that I enjoyed and now I want more. Avery Shoemaker is at her first football game and she is watching the quarterback more than the game, and he is worth looking at. So when he gets hurt Avery is ready to go home. On the way home she offers a ride on her scooter to none other than the quarterback himself, Craig Robinson. And the fun begins for them both. Craig just wants this night to be over so he can forget this disastrous game but after meeting Avery he wants more. More time to just talk to her, more time to explore her mind body and soul. And so their relationship begins. If that's what you can call it. They are drawn to each other and are just as satisfied being together doing nothing as they are doing anything. When Craig's Dad drops a bomb on them, will they be able to handle the news? Can they continue seeing each other? Or will the pain of them separating be too much for them to handle? **A free copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
Amanda Heartley is a new author for me and I plan on reading more of her work!
There are twists and turns that I certainly didn't see coming! The characters are intense without being moody. Craig and Avery find themselves involved in a hot, steamy and totally sexy relationship only to learn that their future has been changed by their loved ones (Oh No! I'm not spoiling this for you. You just have to read it!)
There is a cliffhanger, so we'll all just have to see what happens in the next book. This will keep me (and you) coming back for more.
I love Heartley's writing style. It's easy to follow along, and the dialogue doesn't get boring. She's very descriptive with the actions the couple take with one another and the emotional roller coaster the couple go on.
This is the first book I read from Amanda Heartley and I really enjoyed it. Craig is a football star who gets hurt in the last game of the season and sees his future as a football player getting farther away. Avery is a student who ends up helping Craig on his way home. And from there, things get really interesting and hot between them, however, some twists and surprises throughout history end up disturbing this couple a little. The story is interesting, but I didn't really like the ending, I hoped things would be decided, but I got a taste of cliffhanger, as if the story was not over. I received a copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
Craig is a college quarterback and a "player" and after getting injured at a game Avery offers him a ride on her scooter. They become friends then lovers. A first for him. Months later they find out their parents are getting married. I liked them - but the ending was abrupt and we never found out if the parents approved or not. The parents went on their honeymoon and they decided to continue the relationship and then the story ended.
Fun, fast paced read.great storyline and well written. What would you do if you met the man of your dreams, start a relationship, fall in love, only to find out your mother is dating and marrying your guy's father. That's the predicament this couple find themselves in, what do they do, when they find that their going to be step siblings. one click and find out for yourself. Great read.
This was a short, sexy read. I liked the characters, even when I felt frustrated over the choices they were making. The writing style was very good. I will definitely read more by this author. **I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.**
Wow! Two people meet due to an unfortunate event, are drawn to each other. Avery is at a football game, then after offers a guy walking that is on crutches(Craig) football player a ride. They are both attracted to each other, loving their back and forth banter
I volunteered to review an ARC in order to provide an honest review. Now THAT was a story! I thoroughly enjoyed the Avery and Crain's whirlwind romance. I do wish that they would have spilled the beans, though. After all, it's only on paper.
rcvd ARC for providing a review. what a great read. girl goes to football game, girl stares at quarterbacks butt, quarterback gets injuried, quarterback sulks and girl saves the day. lol Avery gives Craig a ride on her bike after he is injured and Craig immediately feels smtg different for her and takes her to his after game tradition...icecream. avery takes craig home but says no sex but foreplay. craig has not had foreplay and avery is just the woman to do it. after an intense foreplay session, both decide they want to spend time together which is new to both of them. there is one majorly big wrinkle in their plans to be together and that is their respective parents. will they overcome the odds? will craig finally be a one woman guy and give up his whore-ish ways? will love be on the table? will xmas ever be the same again?
