Excellent read!
Max and Ruthie's story was compassionate, heartwarming and romantic. Their characters were realistic, and likable, and their struggle to find romance was full of insightful moments.
My first Cathy Jackson story and certainly not my last.

I loved it. It's an amazing story about faith and love. It was a slow read for me. It's the kind of book you take your time reading. I loved both Maximillain and Ruthie. Both are prefect for each other, they know it but still too afraid to make the leap.
Maximillian learned the hard way not to trust anyone. For him his children are everything. Their happiness is his first priority. Ruthie is someone he meets by chance. But it seems as if they are meant to be together. Ruthie is good with his kids. The more he gets to know her, the more he realizes that she is definitely someone he can trust, not only with his own happiness but also his kids'. Both children love Ruthie and she loves them.
When Maximillian asks her to be a nanny for his children she is double minded. Then she leaves her decision to God. If this is what God has in mind for her then this is what she will do. She has spent her entire life this way. She believes that God has a plan for her and she trusts His plan.
It's a beautifully written novel. Faith plays an important part in the story. I'm reading Cathy's work for the first time and I must say that it is quite unique. I enjoyed reading Max and Ruthie's story. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet, lighthearted romantic story.

As most of my readers and followers know that YA Paranormal is my absolute favorite genre, but I do like to step out of my comfort zone from time-to-time and read other genres and I am so glad to have given this story a try. I loved it from beginning to end.

MY REVIEW
Do you believe in love at first sight? Fate? This story may change your mind....

What a sweet and remarkable love story...I love how this author spun this tale of faith, fate, love, and understanding within the pages of this story. The characters of the story were phenomenal and so life like. I felt as if I was watching a movie in my head as I kept reading. It's stories like this one that always seems to real me in and keep me reading and also keeping a part of my heart and soul within its pages once I finish the story. The story-line was addicting and breathtakingly beautiful. This felt like an all American true life story of hope, love, and romance. I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this read to all to enjoy.

The author provided me with a digital ARC copy of the book for review purposes only. No remuneration was exchanged.

Yours to Love is the story of Max and Ruthie. This is a sweet love story with a few life lessons thrown in.

Max is recovering from his divorce and adjusting to being a single father. He also happens to be a famous Youtuber. Ruthie meets him when she is running a booth at a stores grand opening. She knew who he was but she treated him like she would anyone else. He was reluctant to believe that she didn't have ulterior motives; most people he have met expect something from him because of his status. Ruthie isn't one of those people. She is a good, honest, Christian woman. He offers her a job being a nanny for his boys. This is when they really get to know each other. Will they fall in love and get their happily ever after?

These characters had me hoping for their HEA. They are such good people and I couldn't wait to see them finally get what they deserved. This story makes you think about God's Will and to see that you should trust in Him. Ms. Jackson's books are always a bright spot and come along just when I need them the most. I love the way her stories make me think about the meaning of life and love. This story was uplifting and well written. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Jackson writes next.

Good Christian story that made me shed some tears. It's about Ruthie, who is devoted to God and Maximillian, who is a vloger with two beautiful children. Caroline and Michael are wonderful children. They are respectful, smart, well behaved, and so loving. Max is a great dad: smart, fun, health conscious, attentive, and protective. He's also successful and handsome. Ruthie is pure, innocent, and sheltered. There is an undeniable connection between them even though they fight it.
I love how without pushing Ruthie brings such a amazing change in the relationship Max has with God. Her unashamed devotion and love of Christ is amazing and touching. This makes the story for me and lets me know that everything will turn out the way it should.

This would've been a five-star book except it took until the third chapter for me to really get into the story because there is an over-abundant usage of the word 'I' in the first two chapters, it's written in past tense, and the characters speak over correct, which made it hard to connect with the characters. Was a lot smoother after the second chapter.

~~~I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review~~~
REVIEW
New to me author.
This book is about love, believing and a family healing.
Ruthie believes in God. She knows not all are like her but she still believes.
Max is raising his children alone after his wife left them. He has poured himself into making a life for him and his kids but somehow things got out of hand? He didn't even realize it. Ruthie takes on role as the nanny knowing how she feels for Max.
The problem these two face is they both want the same thing now they need to find a way to reach that goal.
The story - line itself is very strong. I truly enjoyed reading it.
And the ending is just a bit hysterical... And yes we get a cliffhanger.
I was gifted this book for my reading pleasure and I am choosing to write a review for it.
To date, Yours To Love by Cathy Jackson is by far her best book she has written. I found that the book was more down to earth and you could tell that Cathy poured her heart into her characters. The storyline had time to develop and grow before our eyes. It didn't have a rushed feeling to it. Maximilian is a lovely man and father, he wanted to protect and love his children to make up for things that happened to them in the past. Ruthie Eden is a lovely young woman who works two jobs and is active in her church. Ruthie crosses paths with Maximilian and his family and this is where you as the reader, need to pick up the book to find out what happens to these lovely people.
Cathy is an outstanding writer who will only inspire you and give you as the reader some bit of inspiration into your daily life. I can't wait to read her next book.
Yours to Love by Cathy Jackson is a sweet contemporary Christian romance. Ruthie Eden and Maximillian Roselle meet by accident and fate keeps bringing them together. This story takes you on their adventure as they realize that they could be meant for one another.
The story was well written and the plot was executed perfectly. I really enjoyed the alternating POV between the two main characters. It gave the story depth and many layers. It would have been nice to get Ruthie’s backstory; I enjoyed reading about Maximillian’s past. Learning about his heartbreak helped me understand why he is hesitant about wanting to let Ruthie in his heart and life. This helped me relate to him, while I had a hard time connecting to Ruthie.
The dialogue was well written. I will strongly recommend this book to others. I give it 4/5 Platypires.
I thoroughly enjoyed this heart-warming love story. I loved the development of the relationship between Maximillian and Ruthie. Max is a single dad and famous Youtuber, while Ruthie is a budding writer who works two jobs.
Max found it hard to trust his heart to anyone. Of course, that was understand for life had been unkind to him where love was concerned. In walks Ruthie, with her very compassion and caring personality. Will Max be able to resist her? Love was certainly not what he was looking for…now or ever. The struggles were real between them. The steps to begin and build their relationship turned into a journey. An enjoyable one for the reader.
This romantic story will hold your interest and you will root for Max and Ruthie’s coming together. Ruthie’s devotion to God is admirable. I was happy, too, that Max was willing to open his heart to the Lord.
Great job, Cathy Jackson! Grab your copy.
ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT
Once again, Ms. Jackson has spun a moving, emotional tale of loss, hurt, betrayal, devotion, acceptance, forgiveness, and new beginnings. The characters have real life situations, emotions, angst, anger, and reactions. While sharing the love of God, striving to live as a child of God, it does not come across as preachy or holier-than-thou, but instead, humble and devoted to the Lord.
Maximillian Roselle has a deep and abiding love for his two children, Michael and Caroline. He is a loving parent, is hands on with them, provides healthy food, a comfortable home, and his time. His ex-wife and the children’s mother decided that she wanted more in life, and walked away from all of them. Max is determined never to be hurt again, not allow another woman to become close, and to protect and nurture his children. The downside, he lacks a female companion, someone to have adult conversations with, enjoy a cup of coffee, and a relationship. Max is a famous YouTuber, with over fourteen million followers.
Ruthie Eden is a thirty-four-year-old virgin, who hasn’t dated, never been kissed, and has a deep abiding love of the Lord, His word, and her church. She loves working with the children and in the church nursery. Ruthie works two jobs, one full-time at a fast food restaurant, the other part time stocking hardware. She also has a love of writing clean romance and has written a book and hopes to continue writing clean romance, even if she has never had romance in her life.
The plot will have Max and Ruthie at a grand opening of a comic store interacting with customers, and for Ruthie, offering her book for sale. When Michael and Caroline’s babysitter cancels, he will bring them along, and Caroline will interact with Ruthie, becoming fast friends. Max will find himself needing to find a new Nanny for his children, and fate will bring him and Ruthie together several times. “God would allow in my life what He knew was right and that would bless me, so I believed the event would be a blessing.” There are no mistakes with God, and healing for Max is in the works, with Ruthie as a kind reminder, along with her living faith will help heal this broken family. “Being a Christian isn’t supposed to be easy. It’s all about giving everything up to the One who loves me more than anyone else could.”
There is a physical and emotional attraction between Max and Ruthie and one they both try to fight. She will not be with someone who isn’t a Christian, and he is afraid to trust and be hurt again. She never tries to force her religious beliefs on him or the children, but her actions and life represent the Bible she believes in while admitting she is human and subject to daily failure. “God knowing our needs before we tell Him.” The story is a clean Christian based romance.
If you want a romance that touches your heart and makes you really think about the true meaning of faith and love, please give this book a read. The author takes time to craft her stories and develop her characters. It is an intimate journey you take with the characters when you read this romance.
Ruthie and Maximillian are both lonely. She works two jobs to earn a living and has recently started writing. Her faith is what keeps her strong. Maximillian is the divorced father of two young children. His wife abandoned the family and it really crushed his faith. He has a great career on YouTube and it supports his family well.
They meet at a bookstore when they are both there to promote their work. It is his children that captures her heart. She loves kids. She knows him from YouTube but is fearful of coming off as a stalker so she pretends to not know him. He is a dedicated father and concerned about anyone expressing too much interest in his family. It is a really great way to open the book and a very revealing look at these two characters. The author lets both of them narrate at times so you really feel close to them and their emotions.
Ruthie and Maximillian both struggle with their feelings for one another as they continue to interact. He struggles with letting anyone in to his heart and tries to distance himself. She doesn't know how they could make a relationship work and has no experience to rely on. They both turn to God for guidance. The reader watches the journey and hopes they will open their heart to the truth of their love.
This is the first part of their story and will continue in another book. I am looking forward to the next part of the journey. It is not an easy one for them but it is one that offers hope for a great future.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
Max is raising his two children alone. His wife decided she wanted more and walked away, leaving the children with Max. He is a dedicated father and a good man. He makes a living as a vlogger (new word I learned *smiling, red cheeks*). His children are his life and he is very protective of them. They love and respect Max.
Ruthie Eden holds two jobs, is active in her church and in her free time she indulges in her passion, writing. She also follows Max videos and is enthralled by him.
Their first meeting is at a book event:
"Reigning in my recognition of the man......he would not fluster me in person any more than seeing him online did. I wasn't some simpering girl who was going to fawn over that oh-so-famous man. At least not in public."
"The woman in front of me was a distraction. One I really didn't have time for, but that I couldn't ignore."
Ruthie has an instant connection with Max's daughter and they ease into conversation and play. This makes Max a bit uneasy. He continues cautiously and suspicious. They part ways with Ruthie offering to babysit anytime.
Divine intervention begins. I won't give any spoilers, but after they lose their current Nanny, Max offers the job to Ruthie. This is the beginning of Max's awakening. His interactions with Ruthie open him to feelings he didn't want to feel. The more he gets to know her, the more he wants to have her. The beautiful transformation begins. Beautiful contemporary Christian romance. Two people battling their feelings, in order to do right. He wants to be the man Ruthie needs and searches deep into his heart to rekindle his relationship with God.
Yours To Love
I love this story. It was beautifuI and fun to read. I love authors who are able to allow their characters to show the reader how to live out their faith without beating them over the head with Christianity
Max and Ruthie made my heart smile, dance and laugh. To me they were the perfect couple and it was a joy to see them interact with each other. Ruthie is a girl after my heart. She was honest, smart and loving. Her gift of discernment opened her up to feeling things deeply and loving unconditionally. I loved Max's devotion to his children and Ruthie. Even though he did not know her that well he was willing to protect and care for her.
Some of the amazing things about this story is how the characters allowed the Holy Spirit to guide them. The story showed how Ruthie was not scared to share her faith and how Max was willing to open up his heart to the Lord again. This story proves that people are watching what you say and do as Christians, so make sure you represent Christ well just as Ruthie did.
WOW! Love Maximillian and Ruthie's story! When you think an author tells great stories and wonder if she can top the ones she's already done, she does! Ruthie has seen him on his Vlog but when she runs into him in persons she doesn't let on she know who he and his kids are. Maximillian doesn't want romance since his wife left him and their kids but when he meets Ruthie he has to remind himself of that. Ruthie works 2 jobs and at after writes books, she goes to church and believes God will make the right decisions for her. They're attracted to each other but her faith isn't something he has these days. Or does he?
The author tells another inspirational romance that will put a smile on your face. You just have to love this couple and Maximillian's kids are awesome as well. I can't wait for the next part of their story, I bet it won't be smooth because love isn't but I know it'll put a smile on my face!
This is way different than anything else I have ever read. It's so simple and touching that you root for the main characters to get their happily ever after. It's like a chance encounter that opens your heart for possibilities. Ruthie is running a booth at a stores grand opening as well as Max. She knows who he is because he's a huge YouTube star. Yet she treats him as if he is normal. When he realizes that she knows he gets all defensive because everyone always wants something from him. Ruthie however is just this sweet Christian that has an amazing heart. When Max offers her a job to be his nanny for his 2 amazing kids, you can see the sparks fly. With each new encounter Max opens his heart more and more to the possibility that God is still on his side even after his wife left him. Ruthie was a blessing that he desperately needed. It's heart touching and makes you see that He's still watching out for you!
Cathy Jackson has a way of touching your heart. She brings her characters to life in this amazing love story. Max is devastated after a horrible divorce. He is left raising two children who are the very center of his life. Successful, he his own YouTube show,.wealthy, you would think he has it all, but, does he?
Ruthless, he is a hard worker. She had two jobs just to make ends meet. Yet, she finds time to help others in her church and community. She had a smile for everyone and is a happy person. She lives a Christian centered life. When Max and Ruthie meet, well, no spoiler alerts. You have to read the book.
Max and Ruthie' s story is one based on respect and faith. Max has had a hard time since his wife left him and their children. The only thing he wants is for his kids to be happy and to keep making a living blogging so he can spend as much time with his kids as possible. Ruthie wants to live her life doing what God wishes for her and writing seems to be on that path. When she meets Max at a book signing her world is turned upside down! He is definitely not the man she sees in her future and he isn't looking for a new wife. This book is sweet and will make you fall in love with these two! I really enjoyed this story and I can't wait to find out what happens next! I was gifted this book by the author for a fair and honest review!
This book is totally different then my normal reads. But wow did this book blow me away. The story starts at a comic book store where we meet both of the main characters Max and Ruthie. Ruthie is a virgin who has never even kissed a man, and Max is a YouTube star who has been burned by his ex. The story goes on to have Ruthie become Max's babysitter. Ruthie is very God following and Max is not as much. Will these two find the happiness in each other? Or will religion get in the way?
I would recommend this boon to anyone who loves a well written, sweet story that is a bit God based you should read this story. Or even if this isn't something you normally read still try something new. This author has opened my eyes to a new group of books.
Ruthie an inspiring writer and Maximillian a well known youtuber, meet for the first time a bookstore opening. They both seem to feel a connection to each other maybe it through his children. Max offers her a job to be a nanny for him. She humbly excepts the offer. As they spend more time together they both try and keep their feelings to a work relationship. Max knows with being divorced he doesn't want to make the same mistakes. Ruthie knows just what she wants for her life and how it should play out. With the powers that be will they be able to work their differences. I enjoyed every part of the story. This is a must read.
Yours to Love is an inspiring novel that is driven by love, family, and the ability to believe in God. From the very beginning Jackson had me rooting for Max, Ruthie, and their happily ever after. This remarkably sweet romance had me glued to the pages until I was finished. It felt as if it would never end (I mean this in a wonderful way!) and that for a moment it felt as if it was me living through this book.
This emotional read had me racing to Amazon to grab the rest of the books in this series! I can't wait to read them!
The story moved a little slow at first. It took me a while before I got into it. I enjoyed it after that, and I loved the characters, and the way Ruthie is with the kids is very sweet. Her an Max 's relationship moved at a slower pace, and I wanted it to go faster.. So if you're looking for a sweet, read to relax with, this is it. No drama, but I always hate the way Cathy ends her books. I want want to know now!
This is a very sweet story about a famous YouTuber Maximillian, Ruthie and God's Plan. Both are very attracted to each other, but Ruthie will stand for nothing less than a God fearing man. Can Maximillian be that man?
If you love a romance that sets God first, true relationship goal and a loving family then this is the book for you. Cathy Jackson has written such a sweet story that has brought tears to my eyes when no other book has before.
This is a Good Clean Romance with tons of love and Faith. Ruthie helps Max and his children see that things will be OK and that they never have to be alone. I would have liked the book to have ended with a different scene to cap off the story but it's well written and full of warmth. If you read Christian romances this one is for you. Great job Cathy Jackson
