Interesting read. They make many great, practical points. The writing was quite repetitive and examples were outdated, but the main points are still valid.
The world is not a meritocracy so quit trying to do it because your so great, get over your pride and let someone help you. Family, spouse, ideas are all better than trying to work your way up the corporate ladder. Also if you have made it big, it is exponentially less likely that you will do it again so stick with what you know.
