Ms. Grace gives us a lovely marriage of convenience story. Charles is fooling himself when he thinks he's marrying his brother's ex-wife only out of duty, sure he desires Lise, but there's more to his bond to her than desire. It's not until Charles impulsively kisses her that Lise realizes that there could be worse things than marrying him. These two keep their feelings guarded, and it was wonderful watching them slowly begin to trust that their marriage could indeed have it's own HEA. There's a lovely ancestral lovestory that they uncover that adds great atmosphere. I'm looking forward to the final instalment in this series.
