About the author

Janet Perry Marshall is the illustrator of eleven books for children featuring bright, bold designs of cut-paper collage. Her work has been honored by the Society of Illustrators, the International Reading Association, and the Museum of American Illustration. A native of New Haven, Connecticut, and a graduate of the Hartford Art School, she lives in Hingham, Massachusetts.
