Dream Lover ** the song comes to mind after reading this hot Alaskan romance. ** snickers. I have read Tiffinie's previous stories and eagerly anticipating book three brought it on release day ;)

I read this in one sitting, and must say Tiffinie never disappoints me. Her creative streak certainly shines through with the paranormal elements she has scribed into the story. Giving us a dreamy sexy Alaskan Dreamweaver, who not only makes the hair on your arms stand on end, but has you wanting to snuggle under the sheets and await that dream to start. (( blushes ))

A great blend of humour - romance, smexy - knock your socks off moments, and an intriguing storyline that flows smoothly. Tiffinie will have you giggling at the funny antics in this story; and sniffing the next.

The way in which she has portrayed her characters gives us great insight into the depth of them. Some come across a little Looney while others eccentric lol.. Others just dam SMOKIN ! two hotties in one story.. what more can I say !

I enjoyed all the characters put forth – including all the secondary ones, all having their place within the story.

The vivid descriptions that Tiffinie gives us in her stories and The Alaskan background that she shows us , has me wanting to go visit this wonderful place that she has written about.

The romance between Gemma and Lucky is smoking - he is definably one tempting dream. The electricity between the pair was volcanic. Hot - steamy - and throw a cold bucket over your head kind ;)

I must say I enjoyed the climax and ending, I was slightly torn between the pair but must say that it was an ending I was certainly happy with. It gives the reader that ending that makes you sigh after you have read the last word.

Another great addition to the Alaskan men series. I eagerly await more of this author’s works.

Living in Alaska for the past 16 years, I have had the pleasure for watching the Northern Light dancing outside my living room windows almost every winter and have heard the varies native legends connected to these beautiful displays.

Now Tiffinie Helmer has written an equally wonderful story about one of these legends. Ms. Helmer, does a fantastic job of weaving the native folklore and a sweet love story. It has everything, it’s intense, it’s emotional, mystery, humor and it’s very sexy!

As I was reading this story, I kept wondering how in the world could this have a HEA? I, for the life of me, couldn’t figure out how there could be one, but my hats off to Tiffine, she pulled it off!

I highly recommend this novella!

Side Note: Once again this 3rd book in the series can be read as a stand-alone.

Wow, what a brain burner! First off I was a bit confused when I started reading Dreamweaver, because one of the main characters, Lucky "died" in Death Cache, which released after Dreamweaver and yet he is already "dead" in this book.
There's the first place to scratch your head. Second, um he's dead! How the heck is this gonna work out?
I couldn't wrap my mind around how the author was going to solve this rather large dilemma. The solution is ingenious and inventive and that's all I'm telling you!
While technically Dreamweaver comes before Death Cache in release order, I'm glad that I read Death Cache first. Because I had already gotten to know and love Lucky and it makes his actions in Dreamweaver even more significant when you know his history.
You have to have a open mind or a love or paranormal to enjoy this rather twisted tale, but man, it rocked my boat!

This was a very sweet story about Lucky who died and ended up in Limbo. But traveled through the Northern Lights to be with the woman that was his destiny. I really enjoyed this story about a human and Dreamweaver. Towards the end I wondered how can things work out? I mean hes dead and she is alive. Boy I must be off my game cause I didn't see that one coming. I truly enjoyed this sweet book and look forward to reading the other books to this series.

The ending blew me away. Didn't see it coming. Again, excellent scene setting in Alaska and accurate details in moving the characters about.

This is the first book by Tiffinie Helmer that I have read and it was an amusing ride! I enjoyed the book from the beginning to the end and the characters had that wonderful "believability" that makes the story all the better.

It was much fun and left me giggling and smiling at the end! :-)

I would like to read more in the series.

Gemma is having strange sexy dreams and is told by the new-agey people in her life (including her mother) that this is a dreamweaver and he's here to claim her soul.

It's not that dire, but this is a paranormal, so it's a bit far fetched as is the ridiculous ending.

I didn't read the blurb and I've read previous wild men and women of Alaska before so I was thrown off by the supernatural element. Lucky is a soul in Limbo, between heaven and earth and has been visiting Gemma in her sleep. Gemma has a psychic mother and a dear friend who knew Lucky before he died, Gemma is caught between conflicting opinions and emotions. The story is very interesting to say the least. I was very curious on how this could unfold or explained. It was well done.

Beautifully written love story. Echoes of “Ghost”but with its own heart and verve. Wonderful characters and the emotions are right there tangible and true. Probably one of the best love stories I have ever read in that it is compelling to read and there is absolutely no problem with suspending disbelief and entering into and totally buying the premise of the story.

Great read.

A definite fire 5-star book. Ms. Helmer has a way of grabbing the reader's interested and does not let go until the end. Gemma has a dream lover that only comes to her when she is sleeping, however, their feelings are very intense. Love the mother, Siri, quite an eccentric woman that can foresee the future. Tern is a special friend, everyone needs someone like her. I recommend highly.

Weirdly good

Wow a bit different from this author and I’m surprised I liked it. From the whacky mother to the friend on the other side. Different and potential for more cerebral romances.

Even though this story was make-believe, it was a beautiful love story. I don't know how much of this notion of dreamweaving is believable to those who do believe, but even so, I loved reading it

3.5-4 stars

This was a pretty good story. I liked both Gemma and Lucky. Their story was unusual but interesting. There is a bit of a love triangle but it all works out so it actually ends up being a good thing.

Gemma is a nice lady that owns a book store in Alaska. She was raised there by her hippy parents. Her dad died when she was young and Gemma's mom was loony enough that Gemma became the adult of the relationship. Emma hasn't had much luck with men but has recently started having very intense sex-dreams with a guy she doesn't know.

Lucky was a professional mountain climber and the type of guy who was always looking for the next adventure. He loved women but never found one he wanted to commit to. Lucky was killed and now languishes in Limbo.

Lucky and Gemma were meant to be if Lucky hadn't been killed. When he ended up in Limbo he found his connection to earth only existed through Gemma. This connection was made stronger by the particularly strong northern lights displays going on right now. Lucky fell for Gemma as soon as he saw her and hasn't been able to move on from Limbo because of his connection to Gemma (and his longing to be near her). Gemma thinks she might be nuts with the dream lover thing and is even more worried when he mom starts talking about a dreamwalker trying to take her soul. Gemma is drawn to Lucky but he's not real (not real enough to have a relationship with at least) and she's really not sure what to do.

Things get even more confused by the fact that she's just starting to see a guy she knows and the whole dream lover thing makes things that much more confusing. It also doesn't help when Gemma's BFF (for her own reasons which I found a bit disturbing) suddenly starts encouraging Gemma to be with Lucky when she had previously been discouraging her. I really wasn't too hot on the love triangle but it actually works out quite well when all is said and done. Gemma and Lucky made a good couple but there is a good amount of angst they have to deal with. Thankfully, there ends up being a way for things to work out for Lucky and Gemma and they end the story starting a HEA together.

This was an enjoyable story. Gemma was a nice woman and I wanted her to get the man that was meant for her. Lucky was a bit cocky but nice and proved he wanted what was best for Gemma over his own needs which I loved. There were a couple points I wasn't thrilled with but overall I liked this story and am looking forward to reading the next story in the series. :)

Dreamweaver (Wild Men of Alaska)
by Tiffinie Helmer

"Lucky" Leroy Morgan's life was cut short when he was murdered. And now he is stuck in Limbo unwilling to move on after he gets a glimpse of the future he was supposed to have with an amazing woman he hadn't met yet. He attempts to seduce her in her dreams, using the Northern Lights as a conduit to earth.
Gemma Star has done her best to not follow in her mothers footsteps. She wants to keep both feet firmly planted in the reality of her life and not act like her spacey, tarot card reading mother. But lately there is a man that keeps showing up in her nighttime dreams and her mom says that he is a Dreamweaver and that she should be careful and not let him steal her soul. But Gemma is more concerned that Lucky has stolen her heart.

Review: What a good book this was. I couldn't put it down. I thought.... how is the author going to work this out with Lucky being stuck in another realm and only being able to reach her in her dreams. But as the book progresses, so does their ability to reach one another thanks to the Northern Lights. The sacrifice that Lucky is willing to make because of his love for Gemma is so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. Great job by the author in engaging my emotions and keeping me engrossed in the story as she weaved an excellent love story.
