I read this book before but this time I felt differently. I enjoyed the book again but some parts more emotionally than others. I like the different characters and personalities in the book. I felt the risks more this time. I could imagine the places and the people as it was so well described. I will probably read this again in the future see if I feel differently again. You can see how this would happen an under appreciated wife taken for granted.

Recommend this book to anyone who loves romance books. The plot was good, unexpected and the ending almost made me cry. It was beautiful! I am a person that likes a descriptive book and this was it, maybe even in some parts too heavy with it.
Definitely worth reading and re-reading.
I read only The affair (couldn't choose it without Sea of Lost Love, which is a different book)
A great holiday read that actually makes you think about life and whether there is a right and a wrong way to live it. Well written and interesting, with a few laughs along the way.
Sea of Love Love- Really loved this story. Confusing at first with so many family members & how they were all related. A family saga with twists and turns, love and death, sun and rain, money and poverty. Perfect read. The Affair - boring, don't bother!
Only read The Sea of Lost Love as a single book. Possibly a good holiday read if you disengage your brain. Purporting to be set in the late 50s it seems very dated now.
It’s really annoying that this author seems to change the names of her books…. I’ve just ordered two that it seems I have read before under a different title! What a waste of money!!
