Hugh Marston Hefner also referred to colloquially as Hef, was the founder, majority owner, editor-in-chief, and Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprises.
this is a delicious book for anyone who is a fan of glamour/bouduir photography. I enjoyed exploring the modesty and fashion that evolved over the decades. such as the very first photograph in Playboy featuring pubic hair in 1971 and the first full frontal nude in January 1972, my birth month. most of the women in Playboy are rather average looking. with some knockouts here and there. but that's the appeal of Playboy. an average girl next door can submit some photos and get a spread and make some money.
From the positive reviews, it looks like no one cares that Hugh Hefner trafficked underaged girls. He was a creep who turned men into sex addicted degenerates who objectified women and underaged girls. The government was bought off to prevent him from getting locked up for trafficking.
