Honestly, I don’t know what to say or how to explain it I feel like I’m this far into it why stop now lol it's not that it’s bad it has a lot to do with supernatural beings and it does feel like a Romeo and Juliet type of sitting such as the families don’t want them to be together. I find myself yelling at Victoria about the decisions she makes like hello! You could have done it differently but maybe that’s just how I think lol

Eh I don't know what to say. I feel like I'm just repeating myself when I talk about these books in the series. I can't really tell you why I love these but I just do.

Although, I loved this, there's something missing. Maybe it's the plot or maybe it's the fact that I don't get any strong emotions from the book that I love getting when reading. I guess you could say that I'm not super invested in the whole story. I love it when I'm reading but then after finishing, it's not really on my mind anymore.

I love that this is fast paced, I love the characters and I really enjoy the plot but I'm still not giving this a higher rating for some reason that even I don't know.

Overall, I'm super glad that I discovered this new werewolf world!

This is my least favourite in the series, but I do like that it ended at a nicely wrapped-up point where you could stop reading the series (which I plan to.)

Things I enjoyed in Hunted Wolf are: Toby and Victoria's relationship, secondary characters, the whole league of supernaturals, the story.

What I didn't like: the action is really formulaic, like this happens, then this happens, then this happens, and it jarred me out of the book. Unnecessary death. Victoria made a really dumb decision to leave a safe place, knowing she would be hunted and tortured if she left (spoiler: yep, she was hunted and tortured.) And Toby is THE WORST alpha ever, putting one woman above the welfare of his whole pack, throwing them into deadly situations, getting them hurt + killed. Super romantic but not very smart of him.

But despite those things, I still liked this book, and I LOVE Toby so much. In a world of alpha male love interests, he stands out for his kindness and love. Curse of The Moon is a really strong, romantic, and exciting series, and I'm glad I read it!

Victoria is weak and a perpetual damsel in distress. And this book is full of toxic masculinity bullshit man first woman second stuff. I like the story or at least the world they built but everything else is a little weak.

I can’t stand the main character Victoria .she can’t seem to use her brain. Luckily she has Toby and his pack .

Toby's twisted father

Strong torture scenes. I am really shocked by the devious devices that were thought up. I know that if Victoria had never left the werebears antimagic long house then she wouldn't have suffered all that torture. They might have eventually found her, but I think Toby could have got there fast enough. The fact that they lost a good friend in this book sucks. However, it's the price of war. I would have thought someone else would have volunteered though. Someone without so much to lose. In the end their pack keeps growing by leaps and bounds. It sounds like once again Toby has started a revolution. However, this time Victoria gets to help.

Heart wrenching

This one showed how cruel their past lives were! Omg what they did to Victoria broke my heart, they are so evil meaning her father and his father James, so evil and cruel. All because the fell in love?! They beat and hurt so much. I am surprised it hasn't scared her soul! And oh no not brick?? Why oh why did he get taken from us. Poor soleil. They just found eAch other and we didn't know he purposed I'm so sad for all them. Glad her father and his are dead for good!! And their pack is growing, can they mate already lol.

I disdain the Iceboxing of the lead heroine. The search for her was interesting. Meeting her sister was annoying. I like the new mutt. The bad guys are are JUST bad, their beliefs being so utterly antiquated and innain. A death sentence for all females who disobey, especially the alpha? I death sentence for breaking a rule or tradtion? Nope, just dumb and unsustainable for the long term survivability of a clan/ tribe / etc. Her mother was interesting at the end, though I would haved prefered the old cook to have lived and them shared the kitchen and recipies.

I’m done with this series it’s to juvenile for me, this world had such potential with so many different magical creatures that you never usually see together.

The misfit pack is a great idea but Tobby wasn’t a very strong Alpha he would make immature comments to fellow pack members and didn’t value their opinions like a good leader.

Plus two books in and Tobby & Victoria have only had a few kisses just seems far fetched when they have literally been fighting to stay with each other in each book.

The storyline is just to slow for me to keep going, I’m sad it had so much potential!

Intense and Captivating

The intensity of emotion and violence in this book was overwhelming yet I wanted to know how it played out. Victoria was determined, felt defeated at times, was reckless and courageous in her actions. I felt the loss of Brick as keenly as Toby and felt sad for all. I appreciate how he was honored.

I couldn't help but think about real life challenges and how it can be difficult to stay positive and engaged when tragedy happens. Well done Stacy Claflin for a captivating story. I look forward to reading the next.

I am loving this series. Please hurry with book 4!!!! Victoria and Toby can not catch a break. They should be happy and planning their wedding. Instead they are hiding Victoria and Toby is trying to face his father (what an evil man). There is so much happening in this book. I'm not going to give anything away, sorry, you just gotta read for yourself. I voluntarily read this book and this is my honest review.

Conflicted Paranormal Desire

A mix of exciting twists and turns as love conquers all.......almost. Maniacal evil almost wins in a tale with turns and corner in a path more crooked than a dog's hind leg.

Third book in the series

Hunted Wolf is the 3rd book in the Curse of the Moon series. I found it to be more in depth and darker than the first two. This is a great series for anyone of any age who likes paranormal.

I love the addition of the werebears, hope there is more of them to come. Also the dragons too. The nice surprise with a certain couple, though such sadness for another. Can't wait for more with the two new pack mates as well.

I received an ARC from the author and have chosen to review it. We’re back with the third installment of the Curse of the Moon series and once again Victoria is in danger. She just can’t catch a break it just seems like someone is always after her. This time it happens to be Toby’s father who is after her to do her harm. Throughout this story you get to see if she gets caught or not and some of the struggles she has to go through with her own family. This was another great installment to this series and I can’t wait to read more.

Victoria sat by the fire with her friends, roasting marshmallows for S’mores. The young guys were on the other side arm-wrestling to prove who was the strongest. Toby gave a welcoming speech to the newest members of his diverse pack, including a vampire, 3 wolfborns, a Valkyrie, and a jaguar from a rival pack. Toby and Victoria were talking about their future, but the strong emotion triggered her shift and she had to run away. Toby sent the wolfborns to keep her safe.

Soleil looked at Victoria and Toby and was startled that their essence was “off”. Using her gifts, she discovered that Victoria was in grave danger from Toby’s father. He was tracking them and would torture Victoria. He and his pack were very close by and coming closer! The only protection would be to hide Victoria with were-bears who would keep her from being discovered while Toby went after his father. But would she really be safe there? How long would she have to remain separated from Toby again? And would Toby survive the vicious attack that was closing in on his pack?

This is a continuation of the Curse of the Moon series. It is action-packed with a great storyline. The characters are well developed. I definitely recommend this book. It’s engaging and holds your interest from the start, with each book seamlessly flowing into the next. As we have come to expect from the author, there is plenty of action, but the surprises, twists and turns will keep the readers moving eagerly through the pages.

Hunted Wolf by Stacy Claflin is the third book in the Curse of the Moon series. In this installment, Toby and Victoria find out that his former pack, including his father, who he has already killed once, are hunting for Victoria with the intention of kidnapping and torturing her in ord to hurt Toby. In order to keep her safe, Brick, Carter, and Soleil take her to stay with a group of were bears, who have a magic free zone where no one will be able to find her if she stays in that area. She is being allowed to stay as long as she needs to, so that Toby and the Moonhaven pack can fight and kill the rival pack.

Once again, Stacy Claflin has written an exciting page turner. I read the book in one sitting! I truly enjoy the amount of development put into the characters and the unexpected twists that seem to pop up out of nowhere! As the story unfolds, more is revealed about some of the secondary characters that makes them more interesting. Some of the scenes are so real that I cringed when I read them. I don't want to give anything away, so I won't reveal any more than that. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys shifter romance, especially stories that are not full of sex and bad language.

I voluntarily requested an ARC of this book with the intention of providing an honest review, which I have done.

EXCELLENT!! Book three in the Curse of the Moon series picks up right where book two ended. This is a series that definitely is better read in order. In this book we find Victoria and Toby together, planning their wedding, until there is a glitch. It seems there is always a glitch in their plans with this one being a big, huge glitch.

The part that I really enjoyed in this book is the secondary characters. Many have been in the story since the beginning but it seemed that in this book there was more history given about them. More about who they are and how they came to be part of this mismatched pack. This history adds so much detail to the story.

There is a wait between books yet as soon as I picked this one up the past books came rushing back to me. I remembered all the characters and their stories and was ready to learn more about them. Book four is a book I am anxious for. I cannot wait for more of this series.

The third book in the Wolf series is another can't miss for Stacy. She keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what James, Toby's father, has cooked up for Victoria in his vendetta against Toby. In this installment Victoria must be sheltered by the werebears in order to hide from James. However, after dreams of her sister, Elsie, she decides to leave the compound to go find her sister. She takes a human, Stella, along with her who has been in hiding from a vampire for years. Victoria gets kidnapped, and new wrinkle gets thrown in towards the end of the book making you yearn for book 4. I couldn't put this book down.
