Wow!! Things are Heating Up!!!
The Supernatural battle is out of control and I am on the edge of my seat with a bucket of popcorn!!
The Estril are Beings of Light and Flame
The Estril are fire beings that live in another realm. Raffiran and his wife, Lest, are in search of her brother. He has committed a crime and has unleashed his fire among humans. Humans are only suppose to be a form of entertainment, but we learn in this chronicle that someone we thought was dead, has managed to survive only to become a pet!! And the Estril are capable or great emotions!!!
The Beautiful Melisse has been hiding beneath her hooded cloak and running from her past. But a gypsy's prediction places her on a clear path to face her demons!!!
And the Sexy scarred Marechal struggles to deal with rejection and a broken heart. Will he continue to drown his sorrows with cheap wine. Or will he turn to violence, dealing out death, in order to numb the pain?!!
The mystery of the Marechal's past is brought to light. Melisse makes a sacrifice to keep those she cares for safe from her powers. And an Estril's jealousy may ignite a war within his own home!!!
This series has me hooked and I can't wait for the next installment. I have questions that need to be answered!! Will the Marechal find redemption thru love? Will Melisse be able to save him and herself? Oh, the suspense!!

OMG What a cliffhanger! Love this series!
Melisse and the Marachel have parted ways as the story continues after the last installment in the Marechal Chronicles. Melisse continues on her way across the mountains and the Marechal is drowning his sorrows in cheap wine after she leaves him with a broken heart.
Melisse crosses paths with an elderly gypsy woman that reveals the path that she must take and answers to questions about the past she runs from. At the heart of all the mysteries contained in the chronicles is the mysterious Alchemist's Tower that is surrounded by a ring of doom. All the while is the trouble brewing in the home of the Estrils, beings of flame and light. All these threads have been delicately woven together in an erotic world with deliciously sexy characters.
I love the world that has been built complete with magic and other wordly beings as well as witches and beings of darkness. An awesome series, complete with a cliffhanger that makes you say Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! I need answers! I can hardly wait to continue.

A brief read, light in erotica and more meant to advance the plot. It piques your interest enough to pick up the next volume. Would feel more organic if grouped together in a single book with volume V and VI.

Riveting sequel full of hearbreak and secrets that continue the saga of Melisse and the Marechal. The characters histories unfold, and more information is gleaned about the demons, creatures with feathers like knives, and the beings of light. Much information is this book is supporting detail for I II and III. Well written and spellbinding. I cannot wait to read the next installment to see what becomes of these characters and creatures that I have grown to love!
