Her Treasure Hunter Ex: 5-Stars
I really enjoyed the first book I read by Zara Keane. This is the first book in a new series, Ballybeg Bad Boys, and it follows the first series, Ballybeg. Keane is a wonderful author. Born in Ireland and living in Switzerland gives her writing a different feel from US authors and I really enjoy it. That she can weave a really good story is a bonus.
Katy is a US ex-pat who recently finished her PhD in archeology and is an expert underwater photographer. She is approached to dive and photograph the RMS Lusitania. The man offering her the job raises the spydi senses honed in the mean streets of Brooklyn, NY. She takes the job anyway because needs the money for her mothers medical care. She gets a lot more than she bargained for, including several attempts on her life.
Dex is the brother of Sean from Love and Shamrocks, Ballybeg #4. He is also a archeologist, except he has sold out to the treasure hunter side of the profession. He is on this dive for the jewels, not the history. He is also Katy's ex-fiancé. There is still a lot of feeling left and when they end up shearing a one bedroom apartment, well, hot things happen. On the dive, he has to make sure she stays safe. The treasure is not at all what they expected.

I've read several books by Zara Keane and loved them all. I really like her style, light touch, humor, romance and a mystery. Perfect combination for me. My only complaint is that they just aren't long enough and the plot seems rushed at points. But, I can deal with that and enjoy them immensely. "The Rock Star's Secret Baby" is just fantastic. Hot romance and a suspense/mystery that is fast paced and action packed.
Muireann is a down on her luck interior designer with an 18 month old son, James-David, from a fling she had. She knows the guy's name but very little else, they didn't do much talking in the two days they were together. She is headed to her aunt's home in Ballybeg and a new job as a housekeeper on an offshore island.
Darko Dunne is a rock star for whom life no longer rocks. He has bought an island on the coast of Ireland, built a beautiful house and retreated from the world. Strange happenings on his island have him headed to the police in Ballybeg where he encounters Muireann, a woman who looks awful familiar. The next day when she and James-David show up for the housekeeping job, Darko puts it all together. Muireann is shocked that the backpacker she knew is actually a hotshot rock star. But will this situation work out? She really needs the job and she isn't sure a rock star is the best influence for her son. There are also the strange happenings on the island to consider also. Is it even safe to be there, both physically and emotionally?
The Navy SEAL's Holiday Fling: 4-Stars
I really like the author and her approach to contemporary romance. Her she takes a former Navy SEAL and makes him an Irish hero. The plot is simple and the romance hot. For a holiday novella it delivers.
Liam is on his way home to New York for Christmas after spending seven months an a undercover assignment with the security company her joined after he left the SEALs. He misses his daughter and is feeling like a heel for not seeing her for so long. A terrorist has issued a bomb threat against a company that makes sex toys and he is carrying them out. Already over 200 people have died in several explosions around Europe. He is in Cork and there is a threat there also. Since Liam is the only person ever to have seem The Ghost, he is directed to the Blush Shoppe to assist.
Jill is the manager of the Blush Shoppe in Cork and also a fling of Liam's while he was undercover. She had no idea who is was or what he did. She just thought he up and left one day. They come face to face when Liam evacuates her from a building just before the bomb goes off. Shaken and stunned she is forced to deal with not only the threat to her job, but Liam's threat to her piece of mind, not to mention her body.

Wonderful
This has three stories which are connected by family but concentrates on one part of it at a time. Each story will take you on a journey of mystery and love. Will they find what they are looking for.

I enjoyed the interactions between all the characters. Very believeable story line. True. Seal actions. I am looking forward to author's next book.

Fun read
Just a good fun read. Great characters you can feel good about some sex small amount of violence but intricate to the story. I had like all of Sara Keane's books.

Nice story but not the good clean fun I expected from Zara Keane. Rated R for language and explicit sex scenes.
