How long would you wait for love?
How hard would you fight for it?

Samantha Johnson never thought she would meet her soul mate at the age of five. Yet she did. She is irrevocably in love with the man that has always been there for her. He is her strength, and she is certain he’ll be in her life forever. But she doesn't realize that life doesn't go the way we plan, and he is about to rip her heart to pieces.

Jonathan Smith doesn’t believe in love. His parents' failed marriage is just another testament of the deception people willingly put themselves through. A mistake he will never allow himself to make. No exceptions. He only needs one thing, Sam. She has been his best friend since they were kids. She knows him better than anyone, and he owes her everything.

Until one fated night, and five unforgettable words, changed their lives forever. Now, thousands of miles apart, they will be forced to build a new life. But sometimes the worst of heartbreaks are meant to be.

Can they find their way back to each other, or does true love have an expiration date?

Stephany Wallace has the Midas touch with romance everthing she writes is pure gold!
Chasing Time is a breathtaking love story that says even time can't make true love fade away. The emotions just pour from every page full of heartbreak N hope! I was up all night reading and never wanted this story to end!

One of my fave Sam & Jonathan scenes!

"His fingers continued down the length of her arm all the way down to her hand. He brought it to his lips and kissed it, welcoming the love flowing through him. He placed her hand on top of his heart. "Yours," he said smiling"

There are so many sweet N swoon worthy moments that I love in this book. 5 Stars All The Way! The ending is a killer. I NEED MORE Samantha & Jonathan must have book 2 Destined Time like NOW!!! ;)

So I love this book. I couldn't put it down. I feel heartbroken by that cliff hanger ending too.

Writing: 5/5
Love Interest 1: 1/5
Love Interest 2: 4/5
That 5 Year later part is gonna haunt me..

Feels on the book:
Samantha: I LOVE HER. It was insta love for me. I felt like I could relate to the character and that is such a big deal for me. I love her story with Jonathan(In the beginning if I'm being honest, more on that later) and Christopher . Just wow. Amazing.

Jonathan: Well I hate to say it but ugh. Just No. I had no love for him at any part of the story except for when he was little. I don't know if it was just me but I didnt like him. He seemed like what my gen would call a "Fuck boy" I feel bad for hating him but I just didnt like him. (Might be personal reasons but he reminded me of my ex and I spent the WHOLE book wanting to punch him in the face)

Jonathan & Samantha: Ill admit it was super cute that they grew up together and they had a deep connection, but I just didn't feel like they belonged together (Horrible right?) In my mind I'm just stuck in the the asshole is doing great, go figure. jack off. Samantha deserves better... which leads me to...

Samantha & Christopher: WOW. Okay. I loved them together. I felt like they fixed each other. I didnt feel it in a rebound way I honestly wanted them to be together. I still do. They fit together, they have the same interests and he is amazing. He is the guy Samantha deserves.

Let me say again I love this book. It is going to stay with me, but I can't help but feel robbed. Jonathan just reminds me way too much of the Guy that you should stay away from when Christopher is much rather the guy you should be with. Maybe its just me?

** I got this book from the author in exchange for an Honest review. This in no way changes my option on the book**

What a great and beautiful read I found Chasing Time to be. It hit me in places with such emotions that I felt as though I was the characters experiencing them in person. Stephany Wallace also does a great job of describing things to us in great detail (but it's not iverdone) I particularly like how she describes the details in certain clothing a character is wearing that I can clearly see it in my minds eye.
One of my favourite parts of this book are quotes from various authors peppered through at the beginning of chapters. I noticed many similar authors who I love to read. I'm looking forward to reading the next part of this book to see the choices the characters I've grown to love make and what happens next with them.
If you're looking for a heartfelt contemporary romance to read then this is a book you need to pick up

"Chasing Time: A Love Through Time Novel" by Stephany Walllace is excellent. You experience all the feelings with many of the characters. Hope, excitement, devastation, sadness, joy, and love. I really enjoyed the different POVs throughout the novel. It helped to know what everyone is feeling and some emotions that may surprise you. I felt like I could relate what Sam and Jonathan were going through. Stephany does an amazing job bringing these characters and their situations to life. One requirement you will need when reading this novel is tissues. You will definitely cry. I'm anxiously waiting for book two.

Trigger Warner: Cheating

Spoiler Alert:
This book has several writing flaws and is in need of an editor. However, I really enjoyed the basic storyline and characters so I pushed through. Until about 2/3 when Sam starts cheating on Chris. And it made me so so angry that I stopped reading the book. And I've tried to pick it back up a few times, but I find that I no longer give a damn what happens to anyone but Chris and it's just not worth wading through the writing flaws anymore.
I have always been one to finish books. Even if I hated them. But I just couldn't with this one. So I now have a new category here in GoodReads: books I couldn't finish.

Chasing time is this sweet and enthralling romance story between two best friends who knows each other since kids. Spent every minute and every hour of every day together and happy. But can their happiness last? How are they going to survive a tryout that's been thrown at them so unexpectedly and in such an important moment in their lives? This story made me feel all kinds of emotions beginning from love and happiness and ending at confusion and curiosity. It's a great written book with loads to offer and I simply cannot wait for another part!

This book is the sweetest, loving, heartbreaking story you will ever read. This story is about two best friends who have known each other since they were kids. They did everything together. But what happens if feelings start getting in the way?

I loved this book all the way trough. I did not want to put this down! If you are into romance this is the book for you. If you don't really read romance I would still recommend this book because it is not your average romance novel! Can't wait to find out what happens in the next book!

Wow! A love story about soulmates or are they? Samantha is in love, Jonathan denies the existence of love, Christopher is lost in the memory of love trying to recapture it and time seems to be a factor in each case. Time is running out. I was so frustrated with the characters that I caught myself yelling at the book trying to talk sense into them...lol. The book is fabulous and I am so looking forward to the continuation of this story. I want to know the outcome of each character and if they find true happiness in the end. I hope you fall in love with the characters as I did.

It is Beautiful, it is emotional,  and will touched your heart deeply if you let it.
Chasing Time is a story of 2 best friends that struggle for the feelings, known and unknown, within them. To open up to the beautiful, yet hurtful feeling that is love. You won't be disappointed. You'll want to kill some characters at times, yell at them and cry with them. But at the end you'll love them, and will want to scream at the author for letting you hanging on such a crucial moment. But, I loved it.

Stephany Wallace is a GREAT new author... I loved this book.

This book sucks you in and makes you feel things... you laugh, cry and feel the pain of the characters as if you were the characters.

Jonathan and Samantha's story is not your typical love story....

I can't wait to find out how it all works out in the next book.

I loved this book!

This is a charming contemporary romance full of architecture, art, poetry and Star Wars action figures, not a book about time travel (though don't be surprised if I write a Christopher fanfic with a Delorean or a TARDIS in it). I really adore the friendship turned romance between Samantha and and Jonathan in this novel! Stephany writes romance incredibly well and she makes you want the best for this couple and their future. With a sequel coming out I can only say one thing and that is don't break my Heart Stephany!

Hi Everyone!!!...It's Maria here!!!...So today I've got another great little book for you that I won in a Facebook giveaway...This book is called Chasing Time by Stephany Wallace...This is a cute little story of the greatest love of all...It's your girl next door type of story...I don't want to give too much of the story away so I am gonna stop at that...Well I love the authors style on this...I love how she starts it off as the two being little kids it's so adorable...I also love how this book is set somewhere back in the 90's when we didn't have access to cell phones and Facebook wasn't even a thing so made this so much harder with tracking down people or sending that text cause you feel like it...Which also gave it more room for a great story line...This story has both heartbreak and a love that only one in a million people ever experience...The author caught a lot of real emotions, things that could really happen in situations the characters were in...Not to mention this is a total tear jerker...I think I cried just about this whole book...Even had to stop a few times cause the tears were so bad I couldn't see the words anymore...lol...Well if you like a good ugly cry I def recommend picking up this book!!!...I know I enjoyed it very much and can't wait for the second one!!!...I need to know how this ends!!!...

Riveting Romance

Rollercoaster emotions with male leads that will have your heart wrapped up and pining for them both. The author makes you feel for both of them. The female lead is an honest, adorable character and the love story between her and Jonathon is purely magical. Loved this.
