Nemeth “knows how to build suspense” is this legal thriller about a bitter divorce that takes a frightening twist (Publishers Weekly). Florida entrepreneur Randle Marks has just been served with divorce papers by his wife Carrie. It’s not a shock. Conniving, loveless, and adulterous, she’s more of a threat. Randall’s new startup is about to go global, and the millions he’ll rack up will be fair game. He needs a master manipulator on his side—someone like attorney Tony Zambrana who’s already devising a cunning strategy to outwit the voracious soon-to-be divorcée. But Carrie has more on her side than Randle can outdated laws, shady judges, a dogged detective, and a cutthroat publicity-hungry prosecutor. Not to mention Carrie’s capricious twin sister, and the greedy officers of the court who are more than willing to pit one bull against the other. To win at this increasingly brutal contest, Randle agrees to become the bait in an elaborate and dangerous trap. But for both Carrie and Randle, the cost of losing could be their very lives.

I received this book in a giveaway and I'll be honest reading the description of the book left me wondering if this book was going to be as boring as it sounded. let me tell you I got instantly hooked I felt like I was watching a juicy soap opera that you can't stop watching! it's like watching a train wreck but you can't stop watching! this book was amazing in the details the author didn't make it overly done with boring criminal and law details! the only thing I didn't like and if you read this review Mike Nemeth I would highly suggest that you change the description of the book the synopsis Does Not!!!! by no means do you book Justice!! and I would hate for others to pass up your book because the synopsis sounds overly boring because your book is wonderful!!!
Definitely not what I expected...and that is a good thing. It's intense. Crazy. Full of twisty roller coaster turns. It's "War of the Roses" on steroids. The plot line was very well thought out. It's one of those books you will want to read in one sitting.
Interesting, fun read about an old subject with lots of new twists and turns. Mike Nemeth writes like he has been at this occupation forever. I am looking forward to his next work--hope it comes soon!
