Thoughts on Ariel is Fearless:

I really enjoyed this book. It is a Step 2 book, which means it uses simple language, short sentences, and basic plots. Some Step 2 books are so simple that they are boring, but I think this one was a great balance. It is entertaining, but not too complex that it would make it hard for a young reader to understand. The illustrations are great and I really love the concept. That simple title, "Ariel is Fearless" is amazing. I love how Ariel uses bravery and knowledge to help others in the story. Great book.

Thoughts on Jasmine is Helpful:

This is similar in style to Ariel is Fearless. Jasmine demonstrates bravery and knowledge to help others. There is also the added bonus of her defying Jafar to do what is right for the people. She also demonstrates sacrifice and selflessness in the story. As with the Ariel book, the book uses simple language, short sentences, and a basic plot. I didn't find this one quite as entertaining as Ariel is Fearless, but it was still a good book.
