Characters not as deeply involving as I like. Hermione gets mudblood disease. Fine, I suppose...? Emotionally satisfying, but not as much as others I've read. A good length. More plot focused than character focused.

In some ways this both lingered too long on some things (Ron's jealousy for example or the myriad miscommunication issues that were had) while cramming other interesting things into small spaces.

I enjoyed watching Hermione work through her feelings for Draco. There was a lot left unsaid, or regulated to being glossed over, but the writer spent a fair amount of time exploring the process of Hermione's change of heart. It was thorough and genuine feeling.

Small things bothered me though, which aren't fair (exactly) as they're things other writers tend to include that Rianne didn't. Such as Draco's trial directly after the war. It didn't appear to have happened in this version of the world. Folk living after the Final Battle that didn't originally, but other folk still being dead (Lavendar lives but not Fred? Unfair!)

Somehow the Minister of Magic makes no actual appearance (by name or person), which seems odd considering. Draco is literally completely friendless. I guess the Sacred 28 is a different but often overlapping distinction from the Pureblood Registry?

Anyhow enjoyable! Just not consistent at times.

a fast and fun read, it's about an arranged marriage between draco and hermione because

the characters of hermione and draco are both very well portrayed, especially draco. His character is much closer to canon than I've read in most dramione fics. Intelligent but still misguided and prejudiced, secretive, moody, sensitive but not weak, lonely, insecure, arrogant but perceptive

although i liked how the enemies-to-lovers dynamic was handled (it was slow but satisfying), i didn't enjoy the narrative as much, as the story felt a little forced and inconsistent.

I really enjoyed this. Its clean and plot driven. More show than tell. An insecure Draco. Felt like more realistic development. Though maybe he was a little more standoffish than I would expect from him. But everything had thought out reasons. She was cursed with a muggleborn curse that targeted her because of her blood status but she was saved by marrying Draco, a pureblood. It was good and mature, but once they got together the conflict was gone and I was just kind of ready for it to end. I didn't actually finish it despite enjoying it. Weird. very close to a 4, but 3.

The development from enemies to lovers is realistically paced, and satisfying. As for the rest, I agree with the former reviewer.
