Life Hacks books are something that makes our lives easier. I love to read life hacks books as the knowledge from a few of them has helped me in my life.

This book has a great layout and illustrations and is fun to read. We can also finish reading it quickly. Some of the information shared is nothing new, but still, you will get at least half a dozen exciting information from this book that will help you in your daily life.

Some of the hacks mentioned in this book
How can you quickly make an egg salad with the help of just an egg slicer?
How do paper plates help you in stacking real plates?
How can boiling lemon water for five minutes in a microwave oven help you clean the inside without scrubbing instantly?
Why should you always choose the left line when heading for stores in the supermarkets?
What is the easiest method to keep your folded shirt in your suitcase without creases?

I'm all about the life hacks. Seriously, who doesn't want to make life easier and take short cuts! This book was meh. There were less than a handful of hacks that I hadn't heard of before and the other ones listed weren't that amazing. There have been times when I've sat through hours of scrolling on Pinterest in a life hack spiral learning new things. I usually even enjoy relearning older hacks that I already knew but these were mostly boring or not very helpful. Oh well. It was worth a try.

If you've been on Facebook at all over the past couple of years, you've probably seen a video showing you non-obvious uses of toilet paper rolls, or binder clips, or something else. This is a series of pages with 200 "life hacks", short write-ups with an illustrative, and often amateur, photograph to illustrate. I was able to go through this while sitting having lunch at McDonalds -- it's not a long nor an involving book. I'd say I have seen a majority of these suggestions previously, often on Facebook or other sources like the LifeHacker website. Most of the new-to-me suggestions were not of use to me, perhaps involving entertaining young children. You can tell this was written by mothers of youngsters. But the value here is if you find a handful of things you could immediately put to use. I did find a couple of suggestions that I might try. I'll give this 3 stars as I think it may be more useful to others with younger children, but for me it was probably more a 2 star read.

Got a few new ones, like the kinetic sand and how to avoid "are we there yet?" But a lot of the other things I already know about since obviously, I'm into these life hacks, and have been paying attention to such spread around the Internet.

I'm a sucker for a good life hack. Not sure if I'll ever use most of these but I loved the layout and presentation and it covered a diverse swath of areas of life that can be hacked. Solid.

I started this a long time ago on my Kindle App and have only recently returned to reading ebooks instead of just audiobooks. If you enjoy looking at Pinterest, hacks and checking out different hacks available on TikTok, then this is the book for you. This book takes a look at all of those hacks, well, maybe not all of them, but quite a few different hacks, and decides which ones work and which ones do not. They only include the ones that work in this book, it is very illustration heavy so there isn’t a ton of text. I really enjoyed looking through this, it gave me some ideas for what I can do in my own home as well as a few hacks that I’m probably going to use to get organized a bit more. Right now my favorite one is painting stones glow in the dark and using that in landscaping. I will probably also start filing my T-shirts as opposed to storing them horizontally. For some great hacks, and a quick read this is definitely a book to look into.

Meh. Not terrible; definitely not good/great. It contains 200 life hacks... but I hardly learned anything. I plan to try one or two of them, but that's it. Each one is featured one-to-a-page and has no explanation. I got it from the library; so no money wasted. I'd recommend checking it out in a bookstore or library before spending money.

(I plan to use the sticker trick when Joe gets older, to help him learn which shoe goes on which foot. You cut a sticker in half and put half in each shoe. Lining up the image correctly also puts the shoes on the right foot. I also plan to try putting coffee grounds down my kitchen sink drain to shine it up, and vacuuming up some powdered soap to make my vacuum smell good.)

I read this picture book while waiting for an oil change. It was that quick of a read.

It’s the self-proclaimed world’s best ideas, so I had to read them. To my surprise, these were not innovative state of the art ideas. My favorite tip was to carry a sugar cube and use it as a weapon. Not 100% sure this will be the best line of defense but it might make an attacker laugh….and that's when I could run away. #lifehack

This book reminds me of the videos on Youtube with the upbeat music and the endless scenes of arts of craft hacks. The videos that make me say, “but who wants to decorate a house with toilet paper rolls”?

While some of these might be practical hacks, I’ll probably forget them. But this is a fun quick read to pass the time. Always be learning!

- đổ bã cafe xuống kitchen sink để ống nước nice and clean.

Most of the, 'hacks' were stolen from mediocre Pinterest boards. Assuredly, the hacks encompassed in this book work well, but the problem that remains is how unexciting the book is for the frequent readers of the DIY genre.

Some good ideas

But was already aware of making them. Not bad for a very short book but today with Pinterest and other sites you could get even more useful tips

Nice ideas but I had heard most the hacks

Entertaining with a couple good ones. Do NOT put coffee grinds in your kitchen sink though (unless you want to have to call a plumber..).

There were a few useful suggestions here. Unfortunately, the images and illustrations were so crude and rudimentary I'm not even sure how they relate to the "hacks" they were supposed to demonstrate. Feh

Overall, the book was informative, but how do you rate something that gives you simple (only slightly) solutions to everyday problems? The information was useful, but there was only one hack where I thought, OMG I NEED TO TRY THIS.

There were some good tips that I'll remember, but many of the life hacks involved hanging on to objects that would normally enter our recycling bin immediately because we don't have room for the clutter.

an amusing and occasionally useful collection of life hacks. that also happens to be totally forgettable. Granted, tips about making kinetic sand or other child-related hacks don't apply to me, but many of the others didn't interest me either. I was happy to learn that whatever car I'm driving should have a little arrow by the gas icon pointing to the side the gas tank is on. I didn't realize that before. but that is the most memorable and probably most useful tip in the book. It's mostly pictures, with a line or two of text per page, so certainly an easy way to spend some time if you want to distract yourself but can't focus too much. Maybe you'd find more of use than I did.
