Every loner needs a family—and a heart to call home. The bad-boy bikers of the True Brothers MC make good as a strong, silent type shows the right woman that he can speak the language of love.

With her lowlife father in prison for manslaughter, Nicole Walker keeps her distance from the biker scene—until she meets the stud running security at her best friend’s wedding. “Tank” is big, mean, and trouble from every direction. Yet Nicole can’t take her eyes off his chiseled body, or deny the pure electricity she feels when he returns her gaze. Guys like Tank are supposed to be a one-way ride to heartbreak. So why, after a scorching night in his bed, does Nicole only want more?

From his tour in the Marines to his sister’s disastrous marriage, Tank has seen the worst that life has to offer. Ever since his father’s death, Tank’s been fiercely protective of his family—and the True Brothers have always had his back. When violence strikes, placing Nicole in harm’s way, Tank digs deep to find the courage to keep her safe—and the strength to love without limits.

I enjoyed Resilient a little more than I enjoyed the last book. I really loved Tank. He was so yummy and totally bad ass. I liked Nicole but she got on my nerves at times. I understood were she was coming from and why she didn't like bikers but she was too judgy at times. I did really like Tank and Nicole together. I felt that Tank handled Nicole well. He was good to her and treated her well but didn't take her crap. I really didn't like the way Jessica acted to Nicole. I felt she was kinda over the top but being a bride I got she was being the stereotypical bridezilla so I overlooked it. I really loved Brittany and Stitch. They made the book for me so, Gillian Archer ripped my heart out when she did something I never seen coming . I still feel like I'm kinda in shock over Britt and Stitch. Overall I really enjoyed Tank and Nicole's book. I am looking forward to more books by Gillian Archer.

descriptionI really like this cover. How guy that is a good representation of the hero. Interesting title work and good compostition.description

descriptionI enjoyed the previous book in the series so I was looking forward to digging into this one. Alas, it just wasn't all that great for me.

The writing was excellent. This author has a very readable way of writing. The pace was good as well and kept me turning the pages. Nicole and Tank had some funny moments. There wasn't any OW/OM drama. I wouldn't even say there was a lot of angst. I LOVED Tank and his badass alpha ways, and it was nice (mostly) seeing the couples from the previous books.

So what didn't work? Practically EVERYONE in this book was either mean or acted like a bitch. I didn't like Nicole AT ALL. Yes, I get she had issues with bikers, but seriously she was just WAY too judgy twat considering her best friends were in love with bikers. And let's talk about those friends shall we? Jessica was AWFUL in this book. I get she was supposed to be a bridezilla, but people needed to tell her to shut the f@ck up!

I also wasn't a fan of the direction the author chose to go in concerning a particular pair. That was a serious bummer, to say the least. Lastly, the ending felt rushed. So ya, a bit of a mixed bag...description

Zag has been my favorite but I think Tank has knocked him down to 2nd place. I loved Tank! I also love that the author is keeping this MC series a safe read for us readers who aren't a fan of cheating or mistreatment of women. She did however, throw a wrench into this book. Nothing against the main characters, but it still made me cry. Besides that the only thing I didn't care for was the couples need to keep things from going serious at first. They stayed loyal to each other, but was in complete denial for the first half of the book. Once they got over that bull, I truly enjoyed this couple together. I'm glad the author gave us time with them together and happy instead of it being rushed at the end. I can't decide who I want her to write about next...Axle or Bam Bam.

Author is now on my poop list. Did you really have to do that?

Tank was big and all kinds of yummy and just perfect for Nicole. Nicole had biker issues, but it sure did take awhile for her to reveal them. Loved how their relationship evolved. It was great seeing all the previous couples again. Here's hoping the viking named Bam Bam is up next.

I enjoy MC stories but dislike the ones that involve a lot of other women drama and wild parties where anything goes. I know nothing about real life inside a club but I know what I like and Gillian Archer’s True Brothers is what I like.

Nicole has been judgmental about the relationship her friends have with members of the local motorcycle club. She has a deep aversion to bikers and doesn’t hide that fact from anyone, not even the bikers themselves. So when things start to heat up between her and Tank, she decides to throw disdain to the side and enjoy him for one night. It’s just one night after all.

Tank struggles with memories of the war as well as the memory of his ex-wife and what she tried to do to him. He is not in a place, nor will he ever be, to settle down in a committed relationship again. When Nicole suggests one night but with the warning that he not expect more, he’s shocked. He’s the one who has to do the warning, not the women he spends the night with.

This couple have both been damaged by their pasts but together they work through their struggles in an adult and realistic manner. I loved that Nicole was sassy and snarky and that Tank fell for her, not in spite of it, but because of it. There was a fine line with her character where I could have disliked her but having access to her thoughts showed me where she was coming from. Tank is a wonderful protective alpha hero that isn’t afraid to show his pain to her.

This was a fast paced read that once started I could not stop. Filled with humor, great characters, hot sex, and even some tears, I loved it all. I am most curious to see which of the members will next have the honor of coming to life by Ms. Archer’s talented hands.

This book in the series was more like the first book in the series. I took longer to read because I was pestered by my kids to stop reading and do something with them! 🙃

I really liked Tank. He wasn't that picture perfect hero of the story. He had his issues, but just had a really big heart. I loved in the story how he just would say it like it is, but then just get all flustered with Nicole after. He was hot sexy and sweet, but still the king of the castle. My heart went out to him with his PTSD flashbacks.

I really didn't like Nicole at first, she based her view of people too much on her past and not just assume about the people in her present. She comes off snooty, but she is big enough to see the error of her ways and change. She definitely is a take no crap girl.

Got to hear about the couples from the other two books. There is lots of drama at the end for sure almost needed a tissue.

Good read enjoyed it.

I love this author!!!

I love this book and this series. I feel like it gets better and better with each book. I had been looking forward to reading about Tank. He doesn't want to get involved with Nicole because he feels that she is a forever type of girl with a hint of snooty and sees her disdain for his biker brothers. However, he can't seem to stop thinking about her the more he sees her. Nicole ends up coming on to him and tells him they should hook up...one and done. They both seem to keep coming together until they finally realize they are in a relationship with each other. I like how they both have pasts that make them fearful of love and how they both feel they don't deserve the other.

I enjoyed seeing the other characters from the previous books. I can't wait to see who are the next MCs of the 4th book.

OMG you guys!!! If you have been a fan of this series, then hold on and strap yourself in because we get Tank ladies.....TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been dying for "ladies man" Tank and considering the love interest in this story is none other than loud mouth, fly by the seat of her pants Nicole, I've been chomping at the bit to get my hands on this one.

Nicole is one of Jessica's BFF's. Yes, THE Jessica from the first installment. Jessica is getting married to Zeb and guess who's by her side helping her? Yep, Nicole. But there seems to be someone else too. A shadow. A bodyguard. A protector. And he's had his eye on Nicole for over a year now.

Tank is the playa. Yep, that guy. The one that doesn't do relationships and is oh too happy to "do 'em and leave 'em". He absolutely has his past issues, but don't we all? It's not until Nicole boldly makes the first move that Tank can let his guard down. And what an amazing moment that becomes.

Look. I'm not that person to completly spoil a story. I'm a firm believer in reading it "for the first time", so this is going to be a really hard review for me to write. LOL. We get to learn more about Nicole and her reasons behind who she really is and why. Not even her besties truly know who she is and where she's come from. To Nicole, it's a bit embarrassing. But once Nicole lets Tank in to her life, it seems as though her past rears its ugly head and she's forced to face more than she's been willing to.

I seem to keep falling deeper and deeper in to this series. Each one of these guys has a special place in my heart. So much so that there were actual tears that fell down my face while reading this installment. I can't believe it. Where do we go from here? Is this the end? Please tell me there is more....I NEED MORE!!!!!

[I received a free advance review copy in exchange for an honest review]
I was so excited to dive into this book. There were some pretty hilarious scenes. That scene in the car? When Tank and Nicole were taunting and teasing each other was like, the cutest thing ever. I'd say the book started off at the light side and then started becoming a little intense.
I loved the bad boy attitude with Tank. He's a biker, could he be more badass than that?
What I didn't find satisfying enough is the characters' backgrounds. We didn't get to actually meet Austin, for example. And I think there are things that were left unsettled at the end. We didn't get closure with Tank's sister, and I'm a closure-obsessed person here. I loved the club, but it felt like when Nicole was there, especially at the end, the atmosphere was a little forced and awkward.
I honestly didn't find something extra special in Nicole and Tank's relationship.
It was all physical at first, and that was okay; it was great. Then it was your typical, wait, did I see something shift in his eyes? or, ah the feels are hitting me, am I falling for him? BUT I WANTED MOREEEE. And it wasn't satisfying enough. There was something missing, and I couldn't put my finger on it. He treated her well...
Woah that's it. Like, seriously, I don't think there was anything beyond that. When Nicole's mother would ask her "Does he treat you right?" like it's the most important thing, like it's the only thing that matters. And I know why she'd think it's important, I do. But there are many other factors. I honestly didn't see, like, actual chemistry. Beyond the physical attraction and all that.
I don't know. I really wanted this book to become my next favorite. I'm certainly not giving up on bad-boy-bikers books just yet, though.

MC books aren't my usual fare but this one attracted my attention and I'm glad it did. Book 3 in the True Brothers MC.
Nicole hasn't got thing one good to say about bikers despite the fact her best friends are either married to them or are going to be. Nicole is a piece of work, I liked her snark especially with the men. There's a reason for Nicole's often times brash behavior, which comes to light later in the book.
Getting ready for Jessica's wedding, she and Nicole are being driven by the over the top Tank as he's known. He's been a Marine, has a sister who has a crap marriage and a divorce that put him through hell. We don't get the details here, but you can surmise. He sees his driver duty that day as punishment, having to put up with the two women, Nicole who isn't exactly pleasant to him and Jess has turned into Bridezilla.
Nicole is no slouch, she's got a masters degree and works designing new computer gaming for the casinos. Her mother lives in town, they moved to Reno after her father went to jail. Nicole has some terrifying memories of her young life.
She and Tank get friendly the night of the rehearsal dinner and Nicole insists it's a one and done deal.
She just can't resist Tank. Tank is down for that, he's not interested in anything that resembles a relationship. So one and done become's two and shoo and on they go. Carefully but it's obvious they care about each other.
Meanwhile someone has torched the MC's cycle shop the night of the wedding. This on the heels of several other incidents and they're leaning toward blaming a rival group of not so nice bikers. They even look at their new recruits. As things evolve on several fronts the story comes to a major pivot point that just made my jaw drop. It ties up most of the questions in this story.
I loved Tank and Nicole together. Stella his dog was a keeper.
I'll go back and read the first two books, I liked this well enough to do that. Great book. Worth the read.

Resilient is book 3 in the True Brothers MC series. There are some crossover story arcs so it might be best to read in order. The book starts with the wedding of a previous couple, Jessica and Zag. Nicole is Jessica's friend and she has a very strong hatred for bikers. She is a bit rude and condescending about it really.

You do learn Nicole's reasons for her strong feelings about bikers. She does have valid reasons from her past that make her cautious. However, I still thought her actions and comments were uncalled for and over the top at times. She is so judgmental of everyone-her mom, bikers, her friends. She just came off as a bit of a bitter person.

Tank was a likable character! He is a former Marine who has his own sad backstory. While he had issues with his ex, he didn't come off as judgmental as Nicole did about her past. He is very closed off though. These two just did everything in their power to make things difficult!

There is the drama and danger of other clubs that really propels the action after the 50% mark. It took a while to get into the suspense part of the story though. The first half focuses almost exclusively on setting up Nicole and Tank as characters, and as I mentioned, they were tough to relate to at times. So, I wasn't sure I was going to finish the book because I was struggling so much with Nicole. However, once the story got deeper into the danger and drama from OUTSIDE these 2, I was more involved.

True Brothers MC is not a 1% -er club, but the danger is from the nearby clubs who aren't so honest! They aren't boy scouts either, so don't worry-there is plenty of bad boys around! Resilient weaves the tale of 2 damaged souls finding each other despite their past and through the danger of club life.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This is part of an MC series, now you probably feel that you can read it as a standalone, but you will get more if you read them all. So this book features, Tank and Nicole, and with all biker books, before they meet the girl they are serious about, they have the club "tramps" or the girls that they pass around, which I find disgusting, but it is to be expected in most biker books, and I knew that, but then again, these girls, should get some self respect. Anyway, that is not the story, so Tank and Nicole are attracted to each, but Nicole, detests, biker gangs, since she has had bad experience with them, however she is attracted to Tank, so propositions him to a one and done. Tank agrees, since he is not the type for a relationship, been there and done that, and failed at it. Of course, they did not stay with the arrangement. Now I have to say, I was not crazy about her so called friends, not too friendly, I only liked Brittany. So we go thru some heartache in the story, but we also get to see some love develop between Tank and Nicole, and they both deal with issue from there past. On to the next story, who will it feature?

First off I just love this series and the True Brothers are the best kind of bikers that being said,Tank is one of my favorites. Tank is the strong silent type who really doesn't say much but he is stuck taking the bride Jessica and her friend Nicole running wedding errands. After the shooting Zag wasn't about to let Jessica go anywhere unguarded but Tank is not complaining he loves listening and looking at Nicole but he thinks she is off limits and she doesn't date bikers. When the attraction gets to be to much to ignore they agree to one and done but it's not enough so they agree to two and shoo and even that's not enough.
Someone is targeting the True brothers when the business goes up in flames then the reason for Nicole's hatred for bikers shows up but Tank clams her down. Nicole and Tank are good for each other if they could just get past their feelings that each of them isn't right for the other. I loved reading how Nicole and Tank changed just a little to fit in each other's world and I hope to read more to see how everything turns out.

3 stars for Risilient by Gillian Archer

ARC (unedited) provided by Netgalley for an honest, unbiased review.

This is the first book I've read in this series, and while I liked it well enough, it wasn't something I find myself wanting to revisit in order to read the rest of the series. As an aside, I struggle to really get into biker books anyway, so that may have some bearing on my enjoyment of the book.

The main characters, Tank and Nicole, are interesting, and I especially liked how feisty and snarky Nicole was at the beginning. However, I found little plot points within the story that didn't quite add up, so I lost the motivation to finish about 60% of the way through. I managed to stay with it though, and finished it off. The climax of the story felt rushed, but I liked how the author wrapped up the main characters' love story.

Definitely worth reading but I don't know how invested I am to continue with any of the other books in the series. I think I'll try one more and see if the writing style and storyline is enough to hook me.

Nicole knows how to leave an impression on a man, “sweet baby Jesus, please tell me that’s beer.” Before I could answer she swiped my cup out of my hand and pounded the rest of my drink. Eff me. She was perfect." Nicole has some high hopes for her man being a stripper, “I was hoping to get a preview of your . . . talent. But maybe you just need practice. Tell me, do you own a thong?” There are times Tank just wants his woman by his side, “well, hurry up and get naked. I’m tired.” Tank left his boxers on as he crawled into bed. I watched him and felt nonplussed. Were we getting naked for bed or for bed? A moment later I had my answer. “Come on, baby girl. Strip down and put my shirt on. I wanna turn the light off. It’s effing with my eyes.” Tank is quite the alpha man, “I’m done asking you. You’re my woman, so get on the back of my bike.” I loved this book, I think Tank and Nicole are my new favorite couple with all the banter that went on between them.

This is the third book in this series and it was really good! I have read all three and this was my favorite! Loved Tank and Nicole!

This book has all the elements of a good MC read. Alpha males, smart, sassy women that love them, great secondary characters, believable story, mystery and suspense, funny moments, sweet and tender moments, hot and sexy times!

Tank and Nicole have a rough start because of Nicole’s disdain of bikers. They both have their secrets, but Nicole is harboring a big one that needs to be out there. They can’t deny the chemistry that sizzles between them and they agree to one and done. They both don’t want commitment, but what they feel can’t be denied. I loved how they went from one and done to two and shoo. After that it was beyond their control to not continue to pursue their feelings for each other. There is a lot that goes on and the past rears its ugly head and there are horrible circumstances that arise from it. It broke my heart. The MC family rallies around their own and bring Nicole into the fold.

I don’t want to give you any more information as you need to read it for yourself so you can fully enjoy! If you love MC alpha’s and strong women that love them, then this is the book for you.

I loved the first two books and gave them 4 stars but some reason this one just went a bit beyond them so I gave it 5 stars. Mostly, it was Tank - what's not to love about him. He's been through hell in Afghanistan - suffers from PTSD. Went through a shit marriage but what I loved most about him was his love for his poor old dog Stella - she helped him when he most needed it and now he was taking care of her. Let's face it the fact that he could deal with Nicole and actually found her amusing was enough for me. Nicole, we all knew what she was like from the first two books. The secret she held on to was quite the whopper but I understood where she was coming from. She is the hardest on herself but Tank helps her with that as well as all her friends. There is also grave sadness in this book - no details but be prepared.

This is my first book by Ms. Archer. Yes, I didn’t have a clue this book was part of a series, but trust me I didn’t have a problem keeping up one bit. I love MC books like this one that throws in the perfect amount of angst with the perfect amount of alpha goodness. And Tank is a total alpha male through and through.

Tank is definitely a bad boy or at least his attitude comes off as a total bad boy. And Nicole is determined to steer clear of all men that are bikers, but fate has other plans. Tank and Nicole’s relationship starts out a bit rocky. They tease, they argue, and of course the sexual tension is through the roof. One night turns into two, which turns to three, but can Nicole and Tank handle more?

I love the connection between Tank and Nicole. I also love their batter and the chemistry is amazing. I also love how close the girls are as well as the guys. There are a few parts I didn’t see coming, and one part that you might want to grab some tissues because it almost broke me into. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and now I have to go read the first two and wait patiently for the next!

For me this was everything I love but on the lighter side of the scale. I love bad boys, I love MC books, I love sagas and this was all that in an enjoyable and refreshing less dramatic package. I know some don't like all the heavy stuff or the criminal/darker stories that revolve around the MC world. If you know anyone like that then recommend these books to them! Gillian is a talented writer and I look forward to checking out her other books.

Requested and received an ARC from NetGalley.

So if you like sexy biker books and need a new read this may work for you. I found it enjoyable, and Tank and Nicole were a likable couple but I found that I was left wanting more history on Tank, especially since he had been in the military and had a PTSD service dog. I also found Nicole's history a bit confusing since the first time she tells Tank it sounds like her dad spread the physical abuse throughout the family but later she says that only her Mom was physically abused and that her and her brother just suffered verbal abuse. Pretty sure someone getting choked would fall under physical abuse. As enjoyable as Nicole and Tank were though, they are not the reason I will remember this book. That comes from the gut punch of an unexpected plot point. It was horrible and made me cry, and although memorable it made me hate the author a little and I wish she'd change it, but I know some readers actually enjoy a good cry...I am not one of those people.

Resilient is the third novel in the True Brothers MC series, one I've been following from the beginning, and just like the first two novels in the series, it gets a 5-star rating from this reader.

The two major characters in this novel are Nicole and Tank, and as the novel opens, they are both accompanying and running pre-wedding errands for Jessica and Zag, another biker couple we met in the first novel, whose wedding is one week away. Nicole has made no secret of the fact that she doesn't like bikers, even though Jessica is the second of her friends to marry one of the True Brothers.

Tank has kept his instant attraction to Nicole to himself--it started from the moment he first saw her. She's snarky (I love snarky women), smart, sassy, feisty and sexy, but what Nicole has kept to herself is her reason for disliking bikers--her abusive father, who has been incarcerated for manslaughter for the last 15 years, and who was also MC member. Although he never hit her, he certainly battered her her mother, and verbally abused and threatened Nicole.

There'a another problem, Tank doesn't do relationships. He's already been married and divorced once. He's now a one-and-done kind of guy for another reason he's kept to himself--his four tours in Afghanistan which resulted a severe case of PTSD, and fearing that one of his violent nightmares might result in his actually and inadvertently injuring a bed partner, he doesn't spend the night either. But all of that changes when he and Nicole agree to act on their mutual attraction and have a one-nighter that begins to change everything for both of them, and it quickly becomes a two-nighter, and then...well, I guess you'll have to read this novel to find out.

Of course, there's more to this novel than just the romance, there are rival MCs, vandalism, arson, verbal abuse, and physical violence ending in murder, as well as some seriously hot sex, so if any of the aforementioned are triggers for you, this might not be the novel for you.

What this novel doesn't have, thankfully, are descriptions of the skanky women who'll hang around the clubhouse and do anything any of the club members want at any time and in public. What sets Ms. Archer's series apart from many of the less well-written MC romances out there is that she gives her characters believable backstories letting us see what motivates their behavior, and she doesn't dwell on the wild parties, heavy drinking and drug use many less talented novelists include as part of their stories. What also sets this series apart is that the True Brothers really are a brotherhood--the members aren't just angry, disgruntled misfits, they actually care abut one another. The True Brothers MC has a number of businesses, but they aren't whoremongers, pimps, gun runners or drug dealers. Each member of the MC I've encountered in these three novels can certainly curse up a storm, as can their women, but they also have such qualities as kindness, fairness, and an admirable love of family, both their own and also of the other club members.

These novels are filled with secondary characters you want to know more about, they are fast-paced and emotional reads, and these are some of the reasons why I eagerly anticipate each and every the upcoming novel in this series.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

The minute Tank-Shawn- saw Natalie he knew he wanted to sleep with her. Anything more was for people who still had hope left inside them. But that’s not for Tank. Afghanistan had killed him even though he still walked around and looked alive, he was dead inside. So he had sex with women than left them. He only played with woman who knew the score. He made sure they all knew what to expect from him. Tank was a member of the True Brothers MC. They were at the hospital , bikers on one side and jessica’s family and friends on the other and the hot chick. She would be going out of her mind that Jessica had been shot. One year later- Right now Tank was babysitting the Prez’s- Zags- old lady- Jessica- and her hot friend as they ran errands all over Reno.Tank had been keeping an eye on Natalie since the first time he seen her at the hospital.Jessica and Nicole had been best friends for thirteen years when Debbie had moved herself and kids to Reno when they were in Middle School, Jessica and Emily were the two constant people in Nicole’s life. Jessica and Tag were getting married in a week and they had a three month old daughter. The club had gone through alot over the last year, It wasn’t easy tolet Jessica go in the bridal shop alone before he had checked it out. Jessica had been shot by a former and now dead member of their own club. Just a week ago Natalie’s other best friend had been held hostage and tortured by their rival MC. It wasn’t hard to see Nicole didn’t like bikers even though she put on a good front. Tank never planned on getting married but if he did it would never be like Jess and Tag’s wedding. Justice Of The Peace or County Clerk. Stitch realized Tank liked a ‘good girl’. Stitch was like a father to Tank. He had sponsored Tank with the club. They had become friends after Tank got out of the Marines and he had hung out in the roughest bars Tank could find. He needed to vent all the rage and stress he’d been keeping pent up inside him.Than he noticed a bunch of Saddle Tramps cornering a lone guy in an alley. Tank jumped into the fight to even the odds. Stitch bought Tank a round as a thank you. A few drinks later Stitch had talked him into prospecting for the True Brothers MC. Nicole went up to Tank and asked him if he wanted to leave.Than she said it was a one time deal and Tank agreed. When Tank kissed Nicole he felt a bolt of electricity go through him. It had been a decade since Nicole had rode on the back of a bike. Every part of Nicole that touched Tank felt electrified as he carried Nicole to her bedroom.
This was an excellent book and I loved it and didn’t want to put this down. I read it every time I had the chance until it was done. I chuckled at times while reading this and choked up with a tear or two escaping my eyes at other times. I loved Nicole and Tank together and how they interacted with each other. I didn’t particularly care for Tank’s sister as she was just cruel and mean when she met Nicole for the first time at Tanks. I loved how the MC was family to each other and were good guys for the most part. I loved how close Nicole was to Emily and Jessica and than Brittany. I loved the plot and pace. I loved the characters and ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

This is not your typical MC biker series. There isn’t graphic violence and blood shed. It emphasizes that family isn’t just those blood related.

Nicole Walker has a family history no one knows about, including her two best friends. She is intelligent, mouthy, sassy, cusses like the bikers, outwardly self-confident and carries a huge chip on her shoulder when it comes to bikers. We don’t discover until much later in the book why she feels this way. She is the Queen of one and done. I didn’t like Nicole at the beginning, but as her character grows, we learn so much more about her and see her make positive changes.

Tank is a member of True Brothers MC. He is an ex-marine, protective, tall, muscled, alpha, with mild PTSD and a big heart. His ex-wife was a total nut job and he’s become the King of one and done.

Nicole’s two best friends are happily coupled with bikers. She doesn’t hesitate to let them know she thinks they’ve made poor choices or to show her disdain to any of the MC members. When she discovers how drawn she is to Tank, she decides one night shouldn’t be a problem. She’ll get it out of her system, right? These two fight their growing feelings and refuse to acknowledge it for over half the book, but we also see their relationship grow and develop. When they both realize/accept it, it is awesome. They are good together. Loved Stella.

I really wanted to see how Tank handled things with his sister. She was quite the bitch.

Holy crap! Really? Was that twist necessary? I actually cried and yelled out NOOOO!!!!!

This book has mild angst, suspense, mild violence and romance. The story flows well and characters are developed and interwoven. Can’t wait for the next installment!

This is the third book in the series and it is dealing with Nicole. While they are getting ready for the wedding from the characters in the first book. Nichole is dealing with issues that she has with the biker club, because her dad was or still is a 1% and is doing time for manslaughter. Because of that the family had to move. The problem is that she has never told her two best friends. Now Tank is attracted to Nicole but knows he cannot be with her because he is damaged. After his fourth tour he came back broken and is still having problems. Along with his mother, and his sister and her no good husband he does not see any good. After spending a day with Nicole with errands for the wedding he sees her much differently. After a night of partying they decide to do a one night stand. Of course after that first time there is a second time and then they begin to get to know each other and he wants to get to know her but does not know why she is holding back. When business associated with the club start being attacked the club starts to search for a reason and then Nicole’s mother has her come over and in walks the one person she never thought she would see again her father. This does not go well. Now Tank can’t get a hold of her and with the problems with the club she starts to think that the club thinks that they are blaming her. Read this book to see what happens. The bedroom scenes between these two are intense. Each also have their own PTSD issues as well. The characters are good as well as the story. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. 2.5 slightly confused, kinda disappointed stars. Good solid start but followed by a muddled middle, interrupted with a crazysauce twist, then fizzled to a weak ending. I'm new to the series, and was intrigued by Tank and Nicole's sexually charged connection from the start. Both Tank and Nicole claimed they were just going to be "one and done" with each other because they weren't relationship type people, and, well, we just know how that ends in Romancelandia.

Tank is the kind of biker whose story I enjoy the most; the kind that falls hard. Almost against his will, Tank goes straight from wedding hookup to claiming Nicole with a caveman "Mine!". The problem was that Nicole was so wrapped up in her own issues that she didn't really connect well with Tank or anyone else in the True Brothers-verse.

Once Nicole's mysterious history catches up to the brotherhood, I expected her to reveal some inner strength to Tank, her friends, and the brotherhood. Instead, Nicole dissolved into some kind of self-absorbed, juvenile catatonic funk that required just about every character in the book bending over backwards to convince Nicole that it wasn't her fault. It was exasperating.

From this book, the True Brothers and their women seem to be a strongly connected group, a la Kristen Ashley's alphas. Too bad that Nicole just didn't seem to deserve to be part of it. I strongly suspected that the other brothers' stories were a far better way to dive into this world.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

True Brothers is a MC series that I have been enjoying and I enjoyed this one probably even a bit more than the last one. I loved Tank and in fact he is one of my all time favorite MC characters. My problem was that I thought Nicole was just a bit too judgmental and it lasted far too long. I get that she had a background that didn't show bikers in the best of light but her two best friends are in love with bikers and she has been around them enough to know you can't judge everyone based off of one person you had a bad experience with. I also hated the way Jessica acted in this book. It was way OTT (I've never actually seen a bride act that mean and irritable) and so I didn't enjoy the Bridezilla aspect of a character I had previously liked.

However, I did enjoy a lot of other parts of the book and I liked Tank and Nicole together. I loved the way he handled her - he accepted her but didn't put up with her crap. This book had a few unexpected moments that made me tear up that I didn't see coming. Overall, another really good addition to this series - I'm looking forward to more from this author.

A copy of this book was provided to me by NetGalley and the publisher with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed this MC romance - I'd definitely consider it in the more "tame" side as far as MC books go so if you're looking for a lighter Motorcycle read this one is for you!

Nicole comes from a past that she's tired to keep hidden from everyone. She's very judgemental when it comes to her friends relationships with their "MC men" as she absolutely hates motorcycle clubs and wants nothing to do with them. One of her friends is marrying a biker though and Nicole is having trouble sticking to her disdain when the gorgeous Tank is assigned to be the girls "detail." Neither Tank nor Nicole is interested in anything long term and decide a one night stand would be perfect... except it's not enough.

My absolute least favorite part of this book were Nicole's "friends." They were absolute A holes and I am still upset with how mean/nasty they are to Nicole throughout this book, like I really was waiting for Nicole to fire back and kick them to the curb but it doesn't happen. It's the sole reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 star rating.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.

As the True Brothers MC gets ready for Zag and Jessica's wedding, Nicole Walker is trying hard to accept her BFF's new life as the wife of a biker. While she hasn't told anyone about growing up with a father that was a biker who was sent to prison for murder, Nicole doesn't want to end up like her mother did by giving in to a biker for even one night.
Tank is the one biker not looking for more than one night. After his tours in the Marines, his own marriage that didn't last and watching his sister put up with a deadbeat husband, Tank knows that he is not relationship material.
So Tank and Nicole give in to one night because the chemistry between them is just too strong to ignore. And since Tank is easy on the eyes, one night turns into two and they can't seem to stay away from each other.
What happens when the club has trouble and they think it might be a rival club or mafia? Will Tank and Nicole keep things going and make a relationship work? What happens when Nicole's father shows back up?
I love this series and I hope there will be more. It is filled with love, laughter, heartache, heartbreak and suspense. If you are looking for a great MC series that will have you wanting more, then give this one a read, you will love it too.

I'm loving this series and it's characters. Tank has especially been a favourite and I've been looking forward to his story. He's not ready to settle down and he wants to stay clear of Nicole, she seems like a girl you go steady with and she doesn't seem too happy with his brothers and how they live their lives. But that doesn't seem to stop him from thinking about her, and the more he see's her the better she is looking. Nicole finally comes on to him and suggest they hook up, Tank agrees whole heartedly.
Which is the start of them regularly getting together until they are meeting so often that they finally have to realize they are in a relationship.
I liked the way the characters change and grew in the beginning and developed for their relationship. There's thrills, suspense and steamy loving in this enjoyable story. I highly recommend it!
