Y'all missed them? Moet, Tammy, Essence and Avon are coming back for the holidays! While Moet is being a wife and raising her kids, she can’t help but to feel like New York is where she needs to be. Zyair has stepped back into the ring and is killing his career, as he always has. With her mother falling ill, sister constantly working and missing her family in general, Moet is ready to board a private jet with her kids and head back to the concrete jungle. Question is, will she do it without with her husband?
Tammy is in love with Latrell and raising their four children together. With the question of 'when’s the wedding?', she’s still pushing on and not letting it get her down. Is Latrell finally ready to take a walk down the aisle? And is Tammy finally ready to shed the Smith name and become one with Latrell?
Did Sept and Essence get back together? Or is she still living single, raising her daughter and running her shop? Did Avon go back to acting and did Ace’s studio finally blow up? How’s their baby girl and is their relationship still solid with Iesha? Is Moet’s parents still trying to make it work? Find out all the answers in this holiday story!
Loved this book...just as I expected. One of my favorite series. Nothing like some tell it like it is "Grown Folks Drama". The only thing I hated...was that I wanted more...
The dialogue between the characters is always so funny and real life that you just feel like you are at their house experiencing the story as it unfolds.
Tammy's mouf is just Reckless and I love it. She loves so hard and gives her love and words out as she sees fit.
If you haven't read this series...you are missing a great one..
The girls are back, and baby, the holidays are anything but peaceful.
Moet’s torn between wifey life and home vibes.
Tammy’s playing it cool, but where’s the ring, Latrell?
Essence finally has some peace ....... and a healthy co-parent relationship with Kamari
and Avon, Baby girl, is struggling with motherhood
Jahquel J gave us festive drama, real love, and just enough mess to keep your cocoa hot. If you love your holidays wrapped in emotion, attitude, and BAE-sized pressure? This one's a gift.
Oh yes some of my favorite couples of 2016 are back for the holidays and I'm so happy. Tammy crazy ass is still cra cra and Latrell, big mama and all those kids is still putting up with her shenanigans. Moet and Zyair and would you believe Moet is being the submissive wife & those bad spoiled ass kids lol. Avon & Ace trying to figure it out and get there professional life on track. Monett and Hakeem are back still struggling to make it right but I believe the will. And my all time favorite Essence and Sept (heart eyes); I absolutely love their struggle and how they have overcome. TRUE Love
Jahquel J I have enjoyed B.A.E and Still B.A.E this year.
I was over the moon to dive back in with my favorite characters! This wild emotional rollercoaster had me laughing, crying, and clutching my chest all at once. What I adored most is that everyone had their moment—even the kids had personalities that jumped off the page. Their emotions were so raw they had me wiping tears more times than I can count. I’m officially on a mission to devour every single book by the one and only Jah!!! Her stories are bold, her characters unforgettable, and her talent is truly unmatched. Now… off to my next adventure!
I was disappointed with the story because it seem rushed and the story had fast forwarded to the future without airing all the secrets of how they got to where they were. What was the secret miss Honey was going to expose? How did Kamaria meet the snow bunny? When did Essence decide to marry Sept? Ace and Avon together with a child. I love your books because your characters are well developed. I felt like there was a book missing before this one. And what was the reaction of the family to Richard and Tammy"s affair?
It was go to hear about Zyair and Moet the kids and the family. Monnet and Haheim are still going strong and make their relationship work. Essence and September are now married and she is running her spa. Avon and Ace are engage and are parent to Ari he never home she got pregnant and miscarriage. Moet and Monnet parent are getting divorced because he cheated on her with Tamala mother. Tamala and Latrell finally got married Big Mama is still the ruler.
So I get that we we lucky to get a follow up on my favorite characters I was not as excited once I finished reading.... guess I was expecting more. I can’t say I was happy with how Essence and sept ended up or how Kamari and Essence have moved. Idk maybe I should have just stopped at still BAE and left it there.....oh well I’ve read it and can’t got back
Just as I expected, Jahquel gives us another fabulous read. For those who have not checked out other works by this Author, do so. In world of Urban Lit., she's one to watch.
Love the holiday follow-up to BAE saga! It was absolutely amazing! I felt like I knew these characters! So glad Latrell and Tammy finally made it down the aisle!
I loved everything about this series it had me laughing, and rooting for the couples especially Latrell & Tammy’s relationship. I was shocked that Essence & Kareem relationship didn’t work out. Overall great character development.
This series is so wholesome. It was nice catching up with my favorite group of characters. A definite great final read of the bae series (even though this one a standalone).
Kamari still letting his mama run his life. Glad Sept was still doing well. Essence needed him in her life. Glad the couples are still happy. I bet Moet father wish he would of kept it in his pants.
It was so good to catch up with some of my favorite characters and see how everything is working out for them. This book was just as good as the others and I didn't want it to end. I could continue reading about each and everyone if them without forgetting bored. I love Ace && Avon relationship for some reason they my favorite couple.
One of my favorite series and couples return with some Christmas reading cheer. The grown folk reality is always great. Tammy hasn't changed a bit. I won't elaborate, because I don't want to spoil. I will say this book as well as the series is everything! Oh how I wish this book was longer. Awesome work as usual J. Jahquel.
I loved the ending with Tammy and latrell finally saying their I dos. Tammy is a mess but she keeps it real. All of the couples went through a lot but they made it through.
Okay, let me be honest for a minute. If I read the stories about these characters, I don't remember them. The revisit I guess it was great. But the story was still cool, even if I can't remember this crew. Shrugs... Check it out, I think you will agree.
