I loved it! This hot and sexy short story is part of the "Hot for Teacher" anthology and I hope they are all this hot and sweet!

Logan was my kinda alpha with his growly "mine" and bossy demeanor.

Abbi was so sweet and loved Logan.

Abbi è la classica ragazzina completamente asservita al volere dei suoi rigidi genitori, tutta studio e crediti scolastici, ancora vergine, mai un capello fuori posto o una nota leggermente colorata nella sua vita, fino a che, durante una serata fuori per le vacanze primaverili a Miami, non conoscerà in un bar Logan. L’attrazione e la passione scoppieranno immediatamente, ma i due hanno a disposizione solo una settimana da passare insieme, o almeno così credono....una volta tornati alla propria realtà non mancheranno le sorprese!

Sapendo che sarebbe stata una lettura breve l’ho presa per quello che è, ovvero una storia veloce e carina. Non voglio fermarmi ad esaminare quanto tutto risulti abbastanza inverosimile, a partire dagli avvenimenti e proseguendo con il carattere ed i comportamenti dei protagonisti, è tutto molto affrettato da risultare quasi irreale, ma di certo in queste poche pagine non si poteva pretendere la calma e l’introspezione.

My First Elle Christensen book and I loved it!

The story is about Logan and Abbi.

Abbi and her best friend, Jess went on a trip to Miami for spring break where she met Logan at a bar. He's from Miami but he got a new temporary teaching job at a small private school in Boston.

It was supposed to be a spring fling. A week together. But when it's time to say goodbye, they can't let each other go. Logan wanted to see her again, telling her he's moving to Boston. What he didn't know is that she's still in high school and both of them were shocked to see each other in class.

They're so cute together. I enjoyed reading their story.

There's a beautiful epilogue Marriage and babies.

Abbi e la sua amica Jess decidono di passare una settimana a Miami qui incontrano Logan un bellissimo ventinovenne, tra i due è subito una forte attrazione per i due decidono di concludere la serata insieme , ma una serata solo non basta e quindi Logan dice a Jess l’amica di Abbi di aver bisogno di una settimana con lei e che la accompagnerà direttamente all’aeroporto il giorno della loro partenza per Boston ,guarda caso anche Logan dovrà traferirsi a Boston per insegnare al college di Abbi...

Questo libro è un racconto molto breve quindi come capita in questi libri l’approccio ed il resto è tutto molto veloce , mi ha divertita perché normalmente le cose non si svolgono così ma conosco persone a cui è capitato quindi tanto irreale non è. Molto piacevole per me ⭐️⭐️⭐️

2,5 innanzitutto non so perché credevo si trattasse di una storia a puntate, quindi immaginavo ci fosse un sequel visto che si presenta come una serie e questo libro sia di circa 70 pagine, è un racconto che finisce invece. Non vado pazza per gli instant love, ma un uomo che mi vede in un bar e mi prende per sé per una settimana dopo due minuti di conversazione, mi sembra leggermente esagerato. Conoscenza dei protagonisti è = 0, capisco che in poche pagine non si può fare molto, ma un minimo ci vuole. Epilogo datato fino a 17 anni dopo...NO COMMENT. Darò cmq la possibilità di riscatto all'autrice con l'altro suo libro uscito in italiano che vanta 380 pagine.

Smutty, fun, and OTT

This read was fun, smutty and OTT. Logan was 100% alpha in the most over the top way. If that annoys you, don't read this story. He is a caveman through and through.

Abbi is an innocent virgin and her sassy friend gets her to finally loosen up with a trip to Miami. Little does she know she's about to meet an alpha who demands a Spring Fling that changes her entire life.

Haha it's instalove, InstaLust, tons of smutty taboo goodness. It was enjoyable and a quick read. Not much more to say about it.

If you like teacher/student romances that aren't too focused on that aspect and are mostly smut, then this is for you!

Sarò sincera, ho deciso di leggere questo racconto perché avevo bisogno di una lettura senza troppi drammi che mi facesse staccare la spina dalla realtà. Leggendo la trama di Spring Fling e vedendo le sue poche pagine, mi sono lasciata convincere!

Se fossi una specie di gentiluomo, la lascerei in pace e mi dimenticherei di averla incontrata. Ma sono un bastardo col diavolo in corpo e non riesco a pensare ad altro che a essere il primo a portarla sulla strada della perdizione.

Abbi è una studentessa all'ultimo anno delle superiori e per le vacanze di primavera lei e la sua migliore amica, Jess, decidono di passare una settimana lontane da Boston e di volare in Florida, precisamente a Miami, con l'intento di dare sfogo alle loro vere personalità nascoste! Qui la nostra bella diciottenne incontrerà Logan, un uomo di ventinove anni che non le toglierà gli occhi di dosso per tutto il tempo. L'attrazione fra i due corre veloce ed è palese. Alla fine della serata, Logan le proporrà di passare l'intera settimana della sua vacanza con lui. Abbi, è reticente, in quanto Logan è un perfetto estraneo... ma non si era detta che avrebbe dovuto lasciarsi andare? D'altronde quello che succede in vacanza, resta in vacanza. Peccato che Logan non abbia nessuna voglia di mettere fine al loro flirt primaverile e il destino muoverà i suoi fili così, una volta rientrata a Boston, Abbi scoprirà che lui è il suo nuovo insegnante di Fisica...

Basta davvero solo uno sguardo per riconoscere il vero amore?

Un flirt passeggero. Come ho solo potuto pensare che lei non fosse altro che questo? Grazie a Dio non sono stato tanto stupido da non riconoscere l’amore della mia vita prima di lasciarlo andare.

A primo impatto, la storia mi ha presa così tanto che l'ho finita nel giro di un'ora. Mi sono fatta trasportare dalle emozioni e ho apprezzato molto il lato passionale e il dirty talking che hanno reso il libro a dir poco cocente. A distanza di ore dalla fine, però, mi accorgo che mi è rimasto un po' di amaro in bocca perché, diciamoci la verità, gli instalove - amori che nascono e si sviluppano in fretta - si distaccano così tanto dal vero da risultare irreali, utopici.

L'autrice si è sicuramente aggiudicata una lettrice in più perché il suo stile è fresco, travolgente e molto sfizioso. Se avessi letto quest'opera in un altro periodo, non sono sicura che l'avrei apprezzata in questa maniera, ma Spring Fling è la ventata di aria fresca che aspettavo da tempo e i protagonisti hanno saputo farmi battere il cuore con la loro alchimia che era assolutamente tangibile attraverso le pagine. Quindi, se cercate un amore deciso, senza troppi ostacoli e che vi faccia passare delle ore spensierate, questa è la storia che fa al caso vostro!

According to GR a 3* rating means I liked it. And I did like it, for what it is. It's predictable, and typical, of how many student/teacher stories go these days...the young naive female student and the over-the-top, possessive, older (by at least a decade), alpha male teacher.
They meet without knowing they are student/teacher-Abbi's on Spring Break, trying to let loose from her usual comfort zone, Logan's enjoying his last days before moving to take on a new job. Things get hot and heavy- Abbi only plans for it to be a week long fling, but Logan has other ideas when he finds out where she lives.
It was a decent way to spend a couple of hours.

I read this book in the HOT FOR TEACHER ANTHOLOGY and it was my top 5 fav.
I ADORED THIS WHOLE SHORT STORY!



It was a totally safe story about an alpha who see his one and does everything for her. He is a teacher and moves to Boston to teach and to be with her.
A sweet epilogue is even included!

Worth a read and a reread and I would totally recommend it!
I'm just discovering this author.
So far her books are surpassing my expectations.

Spring Fling is a short read that follows the story of Abigail ‘Abbi’ Bronson and Logan James, told through dual POVs.

When Abbi ends up going on holiday to Miami with her BFF, she ends up meeting Logan while on a night out where they decide to have a Spring Fling.
However when it’s time to say goodbye, neither are ready to. But what the two don’t realise is their paths are about to meet again in the most unexpected way and place. High School, where Logan ends up being Abbi's new teacher. What are they to do knowing it is against the rules? Will it be enough to stop them? Or will their feelings be too strong to fight off the attraction?

Whilst this short read did allow you to get to know Abbi and Logan, their dual perspective allowing us to get to know them on further level. Giving us a look into the type of people they were and what they were going through from their thoughts, views and opinions within their POV chapters.
At the same time we also followed along with the journey of their Fast Burn torrid love affair, later on becoming a Forbidden Romance relationship due to their circumstances.

One thing was for sure Elle Christensen definitely brought the heat! Abbi and Logan’s story was filled with lots of Red-Hot, Fiery steam that was Spicy AF.
From the sparks constantly flying in the chemistry they shared, it was obvious they were meant to be.
The sexual attraction they shared was off the charts FIRE.
And when they gave in to their lustful desires, safe to say they were like animals in the heat, never getting enough of each another. Especially Logan, who was an older, Sexy, Possessive Alpha Male asserting his dominance over Abbi.

Although it was expected to be a short read, considering it was a Novella. That didn’t stop me from wishing it had been a little more longer, if not a full length novel.
This way it would’ve allowed the narrative to be expanded on a little more, since it did feel a little rushed at times especially with the ending IMO.

Overall, Spring Fling was a great story by new to me author Elle Christensen. Especially given my love for Student/Teacher trope.
Safe to say, Elle won me over as a reader, and has me looking forward to checking out her other books.

Salve lettrici,
Subito dopo aver letto “Another Postcard” ho deciso di leggere anche l’altra storia di Elle Christensen, uscita lo stesso giorno.
“Spring Fling”, però, è piuttosto una novella che un romanzo.
In questo volume, che apre la nuova serie, “Miami Flings”, leggiamo la storia del professore Logan, che in una serata spensierata posa gli occhi sull’appena maggiore Abbi.
Tra i due è subito attrazione e poi amore, e decisamente non ho apprezzato la fretta con cui sembra essere stato scritto questo libro.
Succede tutto troppo velocemente; i due protagonisti si conoscono, fanno sesso, s’innamorano e si sposano nel giro di pochissime pagine.
Sfido chiunque a godersi una lettura del genere.
Nessun dettaglio, nessuna struttura ottimale, solo troppo sesso e troppa volgarità.
Oltre le tempistiche, non ho apprezzato il linguaggio utilizzato.
Un vero peccato, insomma, perché il primo romanzo dell’altra serie mi aveva sicuramente preso di più.
La penna dell’autrice non sembra nemmeno la stessa.
Ma se deve colpevolizzare qualcuno, do la colpa alla brevità del romanzo.
La storia non è brutta, è semplicemente troppo breve per sviluppare una storia d’amore, soprattutto se si vuole dare spazio a così tante scene erotiche.
Di solito questi elementi non mi disturbano, ma in così poche pagine resta impossibile apprezzare la scelta dell’autrice.
A me piacciono i dettagli, gli approfondimenti, l’intensità, le emozioni.
In questo romanzo mancano tutto ciò che io cerco in una lettura, praticamente.
Non c’è niente che mi ha colpito e niente che mi spinga a consigliarvela.
Continuerò a leggere la serie, che sembra essere composta da quattro volumi, perché l’autrice non mi ha deluso in “Another Postcard” e perché, nonostante tutto, il finale mi ha un po’ incuriosito.
Dunque, darò un’altra opportunità a questa serie composta da volumi auto conclusivi, e voi? Pensate di leggerla?

Abbi è "una studentessa modello, una di quelle che prendono sempre A, che non si mette mai nei guai, non rompe mai le regole, che indossa abiti demodé e che probabilmente è destinata a morire a ottant'anni vergine". Una ragazza con dei genitori molto conservatori, ma che ha deciso, per il suo diciottesimo compleanno, di concedersi un viaggio durante le vacanze di primavera con la sua migliore amica Jess. A Miami, una sera, incontra un ragazzo stupendo, Logan, che le propone di passare insieme a lui il resto della settimana. E da qui inizia la loro storia, fatta di nuove esperienze e nuove sensazioni ma anche di sorprese. Devo dire che, anche se il libro è corto, è molto carino e si legge tutto d'un fiato. Mi è piaciuta la sensazione di freschezza e leggerezza con cui è scritto e che comunque, la scrittrice, è capace di trasmettere . Ho apprezzato anche la semplicità del linguaggio che ti porta a conoscenza delle varie sensazioni dei personaggi come quando scrive di Logan  "ma sono un bastardo con il diavolo in corpo e non riesco a pensare ad altro che ad essere il primo a portarla sulla strada della perdizione" ed è impossibile rimanere impassibili senza provare i loro sentimenti.

Plot: Abbi's friend convinces her to go to Miami for Spring Break and let loose a little. Logan sees her in a bar and takes her away to spend the week with him. He's excited to hear that she lives where he is moving, but when she said she was in college, she neglected to mention that it was dual enrollment, as in she's actually still in high school but also taking college classes. That will be a problem when he shows up to be her new math teacher. Can they still make it work?

Commentary: Her parents - awful, but also not unreasonable, considering that she was still in high school and he was her teacher. I loved the second epilogue, with Abbi having to explain that she's vetted their daughter's teacher. Can't have that happen again!

Theres a fine line between being OTT and an alpha and just being an abusive asshole.
This book crossed the line for me. Wanted to love him but between the way he talks and the "forgetting the condom" it's just a massive no from me.

This was a short story about the taboo love of a teacher and a student. Abbi is 18 years old and very shy her parents are ultra conservative and only care about money and what other people think. Her best friend, Jess is very outgoing and she arranges a trip for the two of them to go to Miami for spring break. Abbi agrees to go because she's been working so hard in school so that when she starts college in the fall she'll already be a sophomore. Logan is a 29 year old teacher, he lives in Miami but he just got a new job teaching at a private school in Boston. He's moving in a week so he goes to a club for one last night of fun. Abbi and Jess get to Miami and decide to go to a club because Abbi wants to find a guy to pop her cherry. When Logan sees Abbi he knows he'll be taking her home and Abbi is quick to agree.

I love the student/teacher trope. It's so taboo and I'm always waiting for them to get caught, which adds to the intensity of the story. When I heard about Hot for Teacher, I knew it was going to be one anthology I'd have to get my hands on. Add to that the fact that it was for charity and I was all in.

The first story I read from the anthology was Spring Fling by Elle Christensen and it was the perfect way to start things off. Alpha, HAF and sweet – three things Elle always does exceptionally well. Here, she serves them up in spades!

Spring Fling is the story of Abbi (sweet, smart and innocent) + Logan (the deliciously tattooed, Alpha-to-the-extreme Logan! *sigh*) They meet one night during spring break in Miami and it's insta-love in only a way Elle can do. It's perfect. It's hot and intense and it's something that neither sees coming, but both are powerless to resist. What they don't know, is that Logan is a newly hired teacher at Abbi's school and Logan doesn't know that Abbi's still in high school.

This is a hot, sexy story, that has so many sweet elements, it'll give you a toothache in the best possible way. One minute it's on fire, the next you're sighing at the tiny gestures between the two. And I loved, loved, loved the epilogues.

Spring Fling strikes the perfect balance and I can't wait to read the rest of the anthology.
