Dead Reckoning

Rate this book
In a story that is more horror than romance, Lauren Baker and Colt Norbrook find themselves relentlessly stalked by a man who has been dead for months. Harrison (Dream a Deadly Dream, Silhouette, 1993) spins a tense, occasionally terrifying story that is more violent and gory than the average romance-even those of the Gothic suspense or realistic medieval varieties. The horror aspect of the novel, however, detracts from the romance. Readers who enjoy horror would probably prefer Stephen King.

"Red" he calls her, the man that she went to for help when the police wouldn't listen, the man that fights off her attacker, the man that saves her life, the man she has been waiting for all her life. Now if only they can figure out why the other guy, wants them both the same as him... dead.

I never knew that Silhouette books had a Shadow series however I am glad I found them and started with this book. A fast read with romance and mystery that left me wanting to return to the book much more often than I should have
