General "hope to" for your new friend
This is the missing instruction book that every new "echo" owner looked for in the shopping box. It provides a proper introduction to your recent purchase and explains how to start working with it - or how to make it work for you. Very good section on command sequences and proper stacking of apps and commands; she is smart but linear! For music buffs the book has solid information on music and podcast access, music library sharing and accessing your personal collection. However, Alexa is precocious; digital is the best delivery format for her rapidly-changing instruction manual. Any publication is outdated as soon as Alexa meets another hot, new app.

Echo
The book wasn't bad, but not quite what I thought it would be; it was more like an extended sales brochure to me. It did give some good ideas, but didn't really go in depth to how to do things. I do need to use the skills better and the book does talk about a smidgen of the things it can do. It is worth a read.

Not very helpful
I didn't learn anything I didn't already know and the writing style is excessively simplistic. Oh well, it was only 99 cents.
