“Why!? Why did He have to taker her? My sweet love is gone. How am I supposed to raise this sweet baby girl on my own?”
Wyatt’s pain so deep, he wondered if he could go on without his beloved. He has no choice though. He has to raise his baby girl.
Wyatt Thompson’s friends mean well, but they don’t understand that when his wife died, all that he had left was his grief and their baby girl. And when the trail boss tells him that he can’t be a cowboy and a daddy all in one, Wyatt has no choice but to find a mama for his baby girl. He agrees to answer an advertisement for a mail-order bride, and what he doesn’t know is that his friends have the perfect wife for him; the mail-order bride is their niece. Pretty Carlotta Anderssen was left at the altar when her bridegroom got cold feet. She wants to start over in a new town, so she agrees to be a mail-order bride, even though it means marriage on Wyatt’s terms. She may be a stranger to Wyatt, but she’s like a mother to his daughter, and eventually Wyatt is forced to realize that he’s falling in love with the stranger he married.
This is a short story with Sweet and Heartwarming Bonus books. All stories end HEA, so no cliffhangers.
I read The first book with the western situation. I got partway through the second book of English lords and such and could not go any further. It was you DDD for me depressing, dull and dreary. I'm sorry it was no "my cup of tea"
Nancy Rivers has written a lot of stories in this book. Some are funny others are sad and all are heart warming. I enjoyed the book and so will you!!!!!!
