I am a big fan of N M Catalano and when I found out that Black Ink was a Trilogy I was over the moon happy!! This book is one of Ms. Catalano’s finest to date!! She is growing as an Author and you can tell this by the character development. Alexander Black has to be one of my Top 10 Fictional Boyfriends! He is very Alpha and Domineering. Gemma Trudeau is a Fierce Heroine that a person can look up to! She conquers her fears and over comes a very bad situation with strength we can all aspire to.

I am so glad the three books were sold as a set because waiting on a cliffhanger for these characters would have been pure torture. The story line is quick and the sex in it is HOT. If I had one complaint is that the story seems to have ended a bit abruptly. The epilogue could have been longer. The doubt Ms. Trudeau was predictable if a bit frustrating. And I am a big proponent of Therapy which I feel could have been emphasized more fully. Any fear of triggers can be put to rest. The situations found in the book can be a bit stressful; I did not find that they were in any way alarming.
I will read all of Ms. Catalanos books and I fully look forward to any future books she may write. I have pushed her books to my friends and they all agree that we have found a NEW FAVORITE AUTHOR!

From start to finish you know this will not be a soft and sweet romance. From beginning to end Nadine keeps you guessing as to where she will drag you next. Alex and Gemma are a dynamite couple and always an explosion waiting to happen.
The more they dig into the clues of who is after them the more danger there is to both of them. When Alex begins to let himself feel again he becomes a man of so many facets. When you find out the reasons for the things he does you just want to pin a medal on him and hug him! Gemma is lost in her feelings for him and trying her best not to fall. Fear of being hurt and fear of seeming weak keep the two dancing around the pit of love that neither wants to fall in.
The heat is insurmountable, the dangers are inconceivable, and the ending so epic I was holding my breath and cheering. Love this story!

December 19, 2016OMG I have spent over a week thinking about how I was going to put my thoughts on this trilogy into words. Black Ink completely blew me away and left me not only in a serious book funk but with a thirst for more of this author's work. If you aren't into serious dirty talking alpha males and dark reads then this isn't the book for you.
We meet independent and strong lawyer Gemma, she's left to pick up the pieces after her pathetic excuse of a husband has not only left her a broken woman she's deeply ashamed one at that. Gemma has to go to try and get a job working at Black Ink.
The owner of Black Ink is Alexander Black this man is alpha male with a capital A on top of this he's the man her husband stole 3 million dollars from. Alexander Black is drop dead gorgeous but under his looks he's a very dark and dangerous man.
As soon as Gemma and Alexander's paths cross explosives erupt and its not long before they are acting on the passion between them. Alexander starts pushing Gemma's sexual boundaries that are completely out of her comfort zone and awakening desires that Gemma didn't know that she wanted until Alexander came along.
The chemistry between this fiery and independent lawyer and the ultimate bad boy will have you hooked from start to finish.
This is my must read if the year 2016.

What began as revenge and conquest develops into one of the most on the edge of your seat , romantic thrillers I've had the opportunity to read .
I couldn't breathe - it was sheer torture waiting to know how it ended . ..

This series was captivating and thrilling. I don't know how I had not read this series before now. This is not like the other billionaire books. Alex is in a league of his own. He's dangerous and lethal. The King of Darkness suits him well. Nothing can reach him...or so he thinks. But the one person he has been anticipating top arrive on his door step is the one person he was prepared for.
Gemma was at her wits end. Her name spoiled and reputation ruined. All because of her good for nothing husband. Now seeking retribution she must swallow her pride and come face to face with danger himself. But, oh how tempting that darkness can be.
The game had changed. And soon all will be revealed, but will they be able to battle those who may seek to destroy everything. Or with they both find solitude in the comforts of darkness? I can't express my love for this story. Brava!!!

This series... WOW.. it blew me away. If you want an intense erotic story with twists and turns, mystery, secrets, and danger then look no further. Black Ink Is truly the book to get. Its twisted, gut wrenching and will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is my first introduction to N.M. Catalano's writing and I without a doubt will be reading more of this authors books in the near future. All other books by her are immediately going on my TBR list and possibly one clicked.

Gemma Trudeau is fiercely independent and strong, but yearning for more from what's left of her pathetic life after her lame excuse for a husband leaves her broken and shamed.
Enter Alexander Black, he is dark and dangerous...alpha in every sense of the word and quite possibly her only hope of recovering.
These two broken souls have dark corners and sharp edges. In their minds they are using each other as a means to an end, but as you suspect, these two complex characters feed off of each other in ways only the other can satisfy and become so much more. I loved watching them grow and change throughout the course of the story. It was truly captivating.
Their journey is full of surprises, raw emotion, gripping fear and flooding relief at the story's climax...oh yeah, and let's not forget the hot as hell chemistry between them. And love, of course, because isn't the promise of that all important HEA why we read this genre!

Dark, intense and so very hot! Mysterious encounters with a stranger. Hot and steamy nights with unlimited amounts of pleasure. It's almost too much but holy cow I love it. So very dirty and almost forbidden affair make this an absolute pleasure. The way Gemma describes Alexander is the best though.

She is drawn to him and tries to deny it time and time again. He is just the same until he realizes that they could both possibly be in danger. The action heats up closer to the end and it's a great conclusion to their love story but it is difficult to get there!

Three relatively short books brought together to make one fantastic trilogy set.
Honestly, I'm quite pleased I saved this story until the trilogy was released as one...I don't think I would been held accountable for anything that may have happened between publishing dates!
Two fiercely independent characters, coming together, bringing passion, heat, domination and sizzling sex with them.
Mystery and suspense soon follows, keeping you turning those pages.
I did find the middle part (so, in effect, book 2) was a little slower. My attention wasn't grabbed quite so much but it soon sparked again when we got down to the nitty gritty of book 3.
This was my first time reading this author, I wasn't disappointed by her words. Good job.

First a warning - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that has been a victim of real life crime, particularly assault or worse.
I'd suggest reading all 3 or none at all but the 3rd is somewhat brutal & confronting.
This is pretty raunchy maybe to borderline Smut, though well constructed smut.
Found some of the contrasts in the characters a bit hard to swallow at times but I guess that was deliberate.
Overall the sex may over dominate but I could be just nitpicking; really did enjoy the "trilogy" though I doubt I would have been satisfied with any 1 of the books standalone.

So this was my first time reading N.M. Catalano and I absolutely loved this trilogy! This is a great blend of edgy suspense with firecracker hot chemistry, plenty of twists and turns that had me wanting to read non-stop (that's kind of frowned upon if you happen to operating a motor vehicle though). Gemma's situation is something no one wants to be caught up in, and the way it plays out is a wild rollercoaster, especially once she and Alexander are together; they generate enough heat to probably melt your undergarments straight off your body. Alexander is the ultimate alpha male: all dark and mysterious and swoony and sexy. This is one fantastic trilogy that I highly recommend!

Alexander Black is just...Wow!
All I can say after reading this trilogy is Dayum!!! Alexander Black is not just an Alpha Male he is THE Alpha Male of all Alpha Males! This was my introduction into N.M Catalano's work but I will definitely be adding the rest of her work to my library!

Such a great series! I could not put it down. Read the blurb and then get to one clicking. This series was full of surprises! Not only was it hot and sexy...I'm talking panty melting scenes but it had some incredible, intense scenes.

Holy mother of the book gods, this book blew me away. Black Ink seeped into my very soul revealing my own darkest fantasies brought to life. It licked the fires of the darkness within me and smirked at me saying, "I know all about your dirty thoughts and deepest desires." I loved every pleasurably tortuous moment of this book. It is twisted and gut wrenching. Ohhhh the mind games that will break down your defenses and leave you exposed, stripped bare. That is what Black Ink is. If you can handle all that then this book is for you.
Black Ink is the complete trilogy of 3 books that revolves around Gemma, a fierce lawyer who's left disgraced after her husbands Ponzi scheme goes belly up. She has not choice but to try and get a job with Black Inc. working for Alexander Black, the man her husband stole three million dollars from. Gemma finds herself sexually attracted to Black and at the mercy of a man who identity she does not know. This book drips sex and desperate fulfillment. It leaves you begging for more. Its twisted in the most sinful way imaginable and you will love it, crave it, and be panting for more.
But its so much more than that, there is something sinister happening beneath the surface, and it puts the lives of Alex and Gemma in the crossfire.

He sexy, demanding, dominant, and so caring, I don't even think he realized it half the time. Gemma is strong willed and strong minded and smart they come. I think she was perfect for Alex. Their relationship will fog anyone's windows and leave you parched. Let's say its beyond hot.
The other characters in this book were also really great. I mean I loved everyone so much. Especially Rico, I cannot even tell you how much I loved his bond with Alex. They had a silent understanding of each other and was there for Alex when he needed him the most. I loved the little backstory we get on him as well. I have claimed him for my own.
I highly recommend reading this amazing series. It leave you with some sleepless nights. Make you run to your nearest toy store. Create your own dungeon of pleasure and pain. Make you say, "Christian Grey who?" and one-click every book N.M. Cantalano has ever written. I also must commend N.M. Catalano for shedding a light on a very serious issue in every country around the world. I'll let you read the book and figure out what that is. The woman is a genius.
Holy mother of the book gods, this book blew me away. Black Ink seeped into my very soul revealing my own darkest fantasies brought to life. It licked the fires of the darkness within me and smirked at me saying, "I know all about your dirty thoughts and deepest desires." I loved every pleasurably tortuous moment of this book. It is twisted and gut wrenching. Ohhhh the mind games that will break down your defenses and leave you exposed, stripped bare. That is what Black Ink is. If you can handle all that then this book is for you.

Excellent series – all in one place!!
Black Ink I - A Story of Starting Over and Sensuality!!
Gemma is starting her life over. After her husband stole 3 million dollars causing her to be fired from her law firm; the only possible way to start over is as a lawyer for the man the 3 million was stolen from. Alexander Black is a powerful and ruthless man. He knows Gemma is applying to his firm, and wants to determine her role in his loss to her husband.
He uses illegal and some may say unethical means to track her. When their mutual attraction and battle of wills escalates we are treated to an amazing inferno of sensuality. One of the hottest stories I have read this year. A brilliant expose into the minds of our main characters; deliciously dark and not for the faint of heart. The first in a series which I now feel compelled to read. I highly recommend this!!

Having read Black Ink I, I just had to read this (and Black Ink III is queued up too).
Many layers here with the intense sensual relationship between Gemma and Alex Black, the corporate embezzlement, and the discovery of deeper levels of deception. “But each time Alex gazes at me with that penetrating look of hunger, that insatiable need, when he strokes a fingertip over the smallest bare flesh, I crumble. My body rages with a yearning so deep, it shakes my soul.”
We learn the reason behind Black’s business holdings in foreign countries and events escalate to where they require a military counter intelligence team to handle them. Full of tension, intrigue and personal revelations. I highly recommend this story!
Black Ink III - Stunning Conclusion to this series!!
Quite the roller coaster ride!! If you’ve read #1 and #2 it is no secret that Black’s international business dealings have much to do with his gaining information to close down the selling of very young girls, which is hitting the bad guys in their pocketbook. They are retaliating by creating a circumstance where Black must travel to China to handle the issue personally. He is bringing backup and leaving guards in place at home; but the worst case scenario happens anyway.
Intense, gritty and suspenseful with international intrigue and a very deep relationship which drives both main characters; “She stripped me of all my preconceived false realities. She awakened a part of myself I hadn’t allowed to exist. She single-handedly destroyed all my barriers and filled me with the brightness, burnt me with her sun.”

BLACK INK: PART 1 BY
Oh my Gosh! Nadine does it again! With just the right mix of dark and sexy she writes another story that melts not only the screens of our kindles off!!! WOW, just WOW! I am SO glad that I waited to read this until all the books were released because I was so glad to be able to read these books one right after the other and not have to wait for the next one to release. Alex Black is a strong Alpha with an amazing dirty mouth! And the Gemma is definitely not a pushover, which is most refreshing! I can't wait to see where Nadine takes this story!
BLACK INK: PART 2 BY
Holy cow! I thought the first book left me hanging and wanting too dive head first into book 2! If I would have had to wait for more than the 20 seconds to dive into book three I might have had to hurt someone! In book 2 we really get to see a darker side of Alex Black, even though we always knew that it was there, just hanging in the background. There were a couple plot twists in book 2 that definitely had my jaw dropping. If you like a story that keeps you guessing and that will keep you craving more, you NEED this series in your life!

There are so many words that I could use to describe this entire series but if I started, I'd be here for days, so I am going to try to find a short but true way to do that. It is definitely dark but also gripping and enthralling! Book 1 was an amazing teaser, book 2 definitely hooked us and book 3 reeled us in! Amazing story from start to finish. It's filled with sex, suspense and love. A love that sneaks up on the main characters and has them in it's clutches before they even now it. If you have read any of Nadine's books in the past, then this is most definitely one you must read. And if you have not read any of her books, what are you waiting for. Get busy with book 1!

Wow what a story! I am so glad I got this trilogy all at once because if I had to wait between books I would have been crazy. When Gemma’s husband stole three million dollars from Alexander Black he was arrested and everything confiscated it left Gemma without a job and nothing left. No one would hire her thinking she was in on the scheme but out of desperation she applies at Black Inc figuring maybe she would get lucky. Well Gemma got hired but that was the easy part it was living that became hard and Alexander Black was just the man to make her realize she had never been living at all. The problem is that someone thinks Gemma has something they are looking for and will stop at nothing to get it putting Alexander Black in danger but he is a bigger monster than them. This book has all the danger and romance that you would hope for but it also made you feel like you were right in the middle of it all.

I loved this dark, thrilling romance! Gemma is so strong, but she's left broken when her husband leaves her unexpectedly. When she meets Alexander Black, alpha hot, dark and alluring, she's not sure she's ready to fit him into her life, but he's not willing to take no for an answer. Both of them have a tattered past, and their path to healing is not without bumps and twists. They think they're just using each other to get through, but they both change their ways throughout the story. It was enthralling and captivating to see these two strong characters emerge out of their broken shells with each other. So complex, yet so simple in matters of the heart. I absolutely loved this trilogy!

This book... Holy crap. I went through every emotion, some I wouldnt have ever expected to. I laughed, swooned, squirmed. I cringed, teared up, and full out ugly cried. A beautiful, in depth, emotionally charged story. I have a book hangover now. In the best way. My review doesnt begin to give justice to what I just read. 5 + incredible stars. I highly recommend, can't wait to see what else the author has in store for us.

Wow, this book series and the author just blew me away. I began reading the 1st book Black Inc with KU by 30% through I knew I was going to buy the entire book series and keep it in my Ebooks library. It's a solid read, it's dark, suspenseful, erotic, gritty and raw ; some parts are disturbing but it keeps you engrossed and emotional invested in the MC and all supporting characters. It's my first book by the author and I am hooked.

This whole series was amazing! I blazed through all three books within 48 hours. I couldn't wait to see what happened next! Gemma and Alex have a very unlikely connection, and it isn't a pleasant one. The outcome could have been very different. I am glad that at the conclusion of the third book, she gives closure to the main characters' future. Incredibly well written, with believable characters and real world problems. Well worth the read, and I can't wait to gobble up more of her work!

Breathless. This book is so full of passion. The heartache, the determination, and the desire. All of these passions add up to one hell of a read! The books that make up this trilogy are, in my opinion, better than the Fifty Shades. I'm not one to give details or spoilers. I'm just gonna tell you that this writer is absolutely brilliant. Hers books draw you in and captivate you. Seriously, read this trilogy!!!

Yes odd stars I know, but I so badly wanted to give it four stars, however I just couldn’t. A very good story, kept me intrigued for sure, however I felt like something was missing. There was a lot of jumping around, and things Alex shouldn’t know because Gemma didn’t tell him, he knew. Also Karma, she was thrown in then.... nothing, would I read the next book if there is one? For sure. Happy Reading :)
