This book was definitely something. It is a collection of several stories, some of which have been put out as standalone stories.

I enjoyed the Fidget and Satch stories, and the post apocalyptic nomadic warrior, also known as Jerry, continued to impress.

Benjamin Wallace has found his niche with these apocalypse stories. He can make you want to continue reading, even when you are tired and ready to go to bed. "Just one page" should be the name of his next book, since that is what you are continually saying.

I would heartily recommend this book for anyone wanting to know more about the characters that he has fleshed out in the series.

An interesting format. A book of stand alone short stories, but some are serialized. Meet a set of characters in an early chapter, move on to a different story, and later in the book the first story picks up again. I skimmed a few stories I didn't care for, but the serial about two anthropomorphic dogs having to survive the apocalypse after being raised as house pets was very amusing.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

This was a great collection of stories. I recently finished the first 5 Duck & Cover books, and this was a nice bonus with some funny back stories. I think my favorite character may be Fidget! Calvin the cat was pretty funny, also. Willie and Coy are idiots, but likeable ones. Benjamin Wallace, you HAVE to bring Calvin back. PLEASE!

An entertaining read of a series of short stories which introduce the reader to the Post Apocalytic series. I found some of the characters very interesting and am interested in reading more (full length books) about Fidget and Sasquatch, the Librarian, and Evelyn. [Others not so much].

Classic BW

As always, Mr. Wallace delivers hilarious adventure with a heaping helping of irony. He also delivers a serving of warmth that few humorists can boast. Buy all of his work before the bombs fall!

Simply amazing

I really enjoyed this crazy, thought provoking madness. Each story is filled with trips and spills including a great cast of characters. I will definitely follow Ben and likely read everything that comes out of his crazy mind...

I love a good anthology and this was an especially nice one. I loved reading the back stories of many of the characters from the main novels, like Sach and Fidget! It was a fun novel with fun stories.

This was a weird book, i actually read it after reading the other books and I thought it would give me more of a backstory of what happened to book 2. It felt like a bunch of small short stories that sort of introduced some of the characters for the rest of the series. Overall it was just okay.

Wild and crazy take on post apocalypse life!

This was a fun read. It follows many characters that are not what you expect from most post-apocalyptic books, but that is what makes it so great. It's very enjoyable to read.

I liked it but I think a younger person would enjoy it more (maybe without the bad words). It was a quick adventure and full of imagination!

The beagles earns this 4 stars. The author had to have owned one at some point. He also must have had a really negative encounter with a family member's cat. Bizzare, but entertaining.

Interesting and humorous stories about the end of the world as we know it. I especially enjoyed the ones with the two pups. I will read the rest of this series.

Disclaimer: I am reviewing an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book is a bit different than the other books in the series. It is a collection of short stories (some with a connecting theme) that are a prequel.

This might be my favourite book of all of this author's that I have read. It's a good introduction to the series (I haven't read all of the books, and didn't recognise all of the characters, but got a good introduction to them), gave insight into characters I did know, and fit in well with the rest of the series.

I was so thrilled to find out what happened with Fidget and Sasquatch!!! I hope there's another installment of their post-apocalyptic adventures included in the next volume!
