Wow! I'm the first one to rate and review this wonderful book! I'm glad I discovered this book at the library because had I relied exclusively on Internet reviews, I might not have discovered this gem of a book.
The author covers a wide range of essentials, including hand tools, on working with metal.

A problem I found with metal working books is that authors often delve into their own area of expertise in a relentless way going right down to microscopic detail. I've read metalworking books that only cover welding for example. Others will give a hodgepodge of tips that might end up being useful or simply remain as after thoughts.

The author of this book avoids these problems. It might not be as specialized as other mistitled "metalworking" books, as it is better balanced. It's obvious that this author and published set-out to create a much-needed high quality book on this topic.

Too bad it's not more prominent on Amazon lists, or goodreads. People are missing out.
