Gentle family life and lots of cooking.

The daughter starts first grade and wants to make friends with a new classmate, a girl she whose feelings she hurt in volume 6. Other low key events: shellfish digging during Golden Week, a big relay race on field day, and a loose tooth.

Sweet and nice.

It's not as cute as Tsumugi gets older, ha ha!! I will try to finish but it might not be easy to get through 4 more volumes.

The quiet adventures of Tsumugi and her dad continue. We get glimpses of Kotori struggling with her post-school plans, but it feels like the interactions between the families are sparse in this volume?

Instead, we have Tsumugi learning how to make friends and other stuff.

On a more positive note, the voice actors listed at the end for the anime adaption sound great.

Tsumugi and her father cook a nice luncheon for her and some of her classmates while Kotori ponders about whether her future is at college or running her family’s restaurant. Later, Tsumugi gets her first cavity but some home cooking makes her feel better and that it’s only a baby tooth. A (100%/Outstanding)

I didn't really know what to expect going into this manga. It's a cute story about a widower single father learning to cook for his daughter. The meals sound very tasty and I've definitely jotted down a couple recipes to try for myself.

It's a little one note but it's cute for what it is and enjoyable. I plan on watching the anime as well

When it comes to the obstacles the series brings up this volume probably contains some of the most mundane situations we’ve seen so far. It feels like this should’ve been volume 3, a lot of tiny problems in this one that feel shallow by the stuff we’ve confronted in volumes before

*At the time I first read volume 8 I thought it was the last, now I know it isn't but it was a very cute volume. Leaving my old review below.

This volume gave a great, and yet very open-ended conclusion to the series.
It was a super sweet series with no real romance which was kinda cool, it was just friendship and parenting and sweetness. The cooking element was also pretty cool, and I like that the series actually gave the recipes for most of the food they included.
If someone wanted a sweet series that has little conflict this would be among those I would recommend.

Tsumugi has started 1st grade and has a few familiar faces in her class. She's making new friends, playing at Field Day, and even losing a tooth. She's grown up so fast. Kotori is also growing up, but she's trying to decide what she wants to do after high school. And as usual, Kohei is stuck in the middle.

This series has 12 volumes.

Resep dibuku ini ada yang pengen dicoba deh. Dilihat dari bahan-bahannya, sepertinya ada di Indonesia ^^. Senang juga akhirnya Kotori punya impian juga. Pengen melanjutkan kedai. Emang cocok sih, apalagi dia suka makan dan selalu menikmati makanannya *berasa liat Ria SW versi komik*.
