This is a compilation of the early works of Aiden Bates (before he stopped doing shifter stuff and went to full-length contemporary mpreg books). I mention this because the summaries and ratings of the stories can still be found by title or under Aiden's name on Goodreads . I read many of these back then and enjoyed most of them. Some I skipped since they weren't my thing (stepbrother, cop stuff, etc). But I can tell you ABSOLUTELY that the collection is worth it all for Omega Beloved 2 (also called Omega Beloved--Re-imagined). It's a longer work and is extremely moving with beautiful writing. I actually teared up at one point in the story. There is a powerful sense of love pervading the story and it's stayed with me since I first read it. I've actually read it several times on KU and am glad to have another chance to purchase it. This is not to say that there's not plenty of other hot, hot stuff in the rest of the collection but, if for no other reason than that one, you should buy it.

I'm seriously shock at the lack of quality of the book. Out of all the stories I only enjoyed one, the rest where poorly written. Their story line and idea behind them where not bad. But when it came to the execution of them, dear God.... I was shocked at how boring each story was. They all started the same with potential, but some how things just went down hill with all if them. I wouldn't recommend the book

This anthology collections and "reprints" many short stories originally published individually by the author and later complied in the "Omega Bundle" anthology (which is no longer available in 2017). As I've read a few more stories, I've updated my reviews for both bundles.

It seems the author wrote many short stories, often breaking them into multiple-parts, to simply reach what I believe was a KindleUnlimited target of 20 pages. The result (based on the first few stories) is overly brief and semi-heated erotic mpreg shorts that have some enticing ideas (and varying levels of escapist, explicit sizzle) but little development beyond a perfunctory setting for an Alpha to mount/knot/bond/mate/impregnate a male omega. Probably only worth it for those looking for really quick and basic Omegaverse action in semi-interesting (but not very developed) settings/interactions/pairings.

The first few entries in this collection (and the later, superceding anthologies) is best for those looking for very quick trips into Alpha/Omega mpreg mating stories (with only needed a little bit of interesting setting and heat).

This was badly edited and some of the stories showed that they were from the authors early writing history. However some of them were fairly interesting. Overall I have to only give it 2* because the bad editing spoilt even the interesting stories, especially when the mistake was using a name not in that particular story or having 'lisp met' instead of 'lips met'.

Worth reading

Rated this one three stars because, as the author states, these are early works, and the quality is uneven. Some of them are very compelling-The Broken Bond- while others were less so. Definitely worth reading, but skip any story that doesn't grab you. Just go onto the next one!
