Courtship story of a smitten playboy hero and a single mom heroine. He is captivated by her at first sight even though he knows he shouldn’t be fraternizing with an employee of his family’s hotel chain. Hero has many, many family issues – his wealthy father was abusive to all the siblings but him and that messed with his mind and kept him from feeling close to his sister and brothers. So he is firmly in the no marriage, no kids zone.

Montreal-based heroine got pregnant at a high school party after her brother and mother died. She married the father, but they divorced soon after. She stayed closed to her mother-in-law who is taking care of her five-year-old daughter while the heroine is working for an IT project in Paris.

H/h begin an affair - with the heroine just wanting the fantasy of three weeks abroad with a hot rich guy and the hero just enjoying the heroine’s company. There is a nice travelogue of Paris, then they go skiing in the Alps before the hero overhears the heroine talking to her daughter on the phone/skype. Hero is angry heroine lied by omission. Hero’s sister is angry the hero was dating the heroine and making her the topic of gossip. Hero impulsively quits the company and stops talking to his siblings.

Heroine returns to Montreal broken hearted (but not fired). After hero sorts himself out, he shows up on her doorstep and begs for a second chance. He is amazingly good with the heroine’s daughter and starts talking about marriage.

Heroine helps him reconcile with his family at a New York City white-tie ball for an HEA.

There isn’t a lot of drama in this one – but the narrative moves along as the author shifts from location to location. Hero was really messed up, but his cruel words were for his siblings (and they weren’t too nice to him). This kind of conflict underscored the us-against-them dynamic the H/h had. They were a great pairing and the hero was cute with the heroine’s daughter.

The biggest draw is that Demitri is totally focused on her for most of the story. He cherishes her.

There is not much plot other than watching the relationship, but it kept my interest.

Most women fall all over themselves to be with rich playboy Demitri. Natalie is different. When she thinks he might feel something negative, she automatically says “I’ll leave.” This confuses him because he’s used to women clinging and begging him to stay. Natalie expects no commitment and no future. When he first sees her he is drawn to her laugh. He asks her out to dinner, and then keeps wanting to be with her again, and again. He’s not used to wanting someone like that. Natalie is a single mother working for the hotel chain owned by Demitri’s family. She hasn’t had sex in years, and is just looking for a short fantasy fling. She does not tell Demitri that she has a five-year-old daughter.

One of his thoughts about Natalie: “Sex had been many things for him, usually escape or distraction, entertainment certainly. It had never been profound. It had never been a vehicle for closeness, for cementing a bond.”

DATA:
Narrative mode: 3rd person. Story length: 184 pages. Swearing language: mild. Sexual language: moderate. Number of sex scenes: about 5, plus another 5 referred to with no details. Setting: current day mostly France and Canada. Copyright: 2015. Genre: contemporary romance.

I'm enjoying this author for the most part. Her characters seem more real than many in this little HP genre but not so real as to belong in a different sort of more realistic book. Decent story here of a man who had some childhood trauma that was not of the usual sort so that people could really see and understand his actions for what they were. He was so used to living his life one way and understanding his actions in one light that he was so confused with what he felt about her since he had no real frame of reference. He just kept coming back to her like a moth to flame.

Demitri Makricosta is attracted to a woman's laughter but is disappointed when he sees her wearing their Canadian hotel's uniform. But perceiving her as a potential threat to his sister's marriage, because the former was laughing with Gideon, his sister's husband, he decides to pursue her. He doesn't believe when Natalie Adams points out that she was grateful to Adara for giving her the job and that she was on friendly terms with her. She has a daughter, Zoey, to think of. She is an IT genius to his marketing skills. And they're in Paris while Zoey is with her grandma in Canada.

Natalie agrees only for dinner with him. Whereas he is ruffled by how affected he is by her. The things even his siblings don't like about him, he has his reasons for doing them. Demitri knowingly makes himself the target of attention. Their banter, on their first date is so refreshing and different from the usual Harlequin line of dating. She tells everything about herself to him except her daughter. While Demitri doesn't want to share how separate he felt from his siblings because of their bid to protect him from everything.

The title is apt. Natalie is seduced into Demitri's world our of her own volition. This story had me hooting with laughter at Natalie's treatment of Demitri. Serves him right, the womanizer that he is. But she also hides about her daughter from him, seeing his reluctance at having a relationship with his own niece and nephews.

It is a medium-paced story and the absence of some conflict early on made it a little boring. Demitri behaves like a bastard and is cut off from the family by Adara and Theo. He didn't know about Nic and is angry that neither of his siblings told him. He keeps his bastard behaviour intact right till the very end.

This one is set partly in Montreal, my first read based in Canada, so that's a plus. Along with an epilogue, bringing the series nicely to a close.

P.S. It was amazing to see Demitri trying to heal himself through Zoey. The way that kid lighted up his world was so cute. And the highlight of this story was the coming together of the siblings. There's always a certain charm, an extra something, in the eldest siblings' stories. And going by their family dynamics, Adara and Nic's story was much better than either Theo or Demitri's.

One of my favorite HP novels of all time.

Danielle wrote a brilliant review so I can only underline how much I loved this book.

He was unexpectedly one of my favorite heroes and he was so besotted, it was wonderful to be on this journey of him going from (damaged) womanizer to faithful, dedicated family man. (I was sorry we knew he had been celibate but he didn’t tell her because I think she would’ve appreciated that info.)

This novel had it all and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was the last book in the Makricosta siblings quartet, and I have to say I absolutely loved this one, which I was totally not expecting. In fact I thought that this would be the book that I would enjoy the least in this entire series just because I had kind of mixed feelings of Natalie being a single mother and Demitri not being the father because I wasn’t sure how it would play out in the whole grand scheme of things, but the way it was handled brilliantly I thought and just added another component to Demitri and Natalie’s relationship, and it made it better I think the fact that was in there. So I got over that pretty quickly I think once I was through the first chapter.

For me there were so many good things about this story that I absolutely adored and fell in love with, and it started pretty early on in the story. In fact I think it was from the opening page that I was immediately sucked into and consumed by the entire story. There were two big things that made me completely engaged right off the bat and really stuck out for me.

One being that Demitri was so freaking charming, and did it in such a way that I immediately in love with him. True he did use his charms not always for the best of intentions and was in fact how he was able to act as the playboy that he was known to the public, but it didn’t make it any less endearing. I was swooning, and it wasn’t hard to understand why Natalie swooned pretty quickly over him as well. He just had that way about him that made you completely sucked into his aura, and it was outrageous and totally over the top, but it totally worked. It was smooth and not at all sleezy, which is really hard to do in a romance. Just like Natalie I felt good in his presence and very warmed by him. A big reason for that because it was very clear that he used his charm as a defense mechanism to push people away and not allow them to get close to him. He always felt like the black sheep of his family, and never could totally connect with them. He didn’t feel needed or loved by them despite the fact they did everything in their power to protect him from their father’s abuse. And once he found out about this secret brother of his, he felt even more out of the loop and isolated from his brother and sister, and that hurt him. I hurt for him, and I wanted to give him a big hug because I could just feel his emotional pain come off the pages, which was relatively early in the book, but really humanized him for me then it made sense why he used his charm to get the ladies, and he really did it well, but it was hiding the pain.

The second thing that happened early on that made me totally engaged in the story was the chemistry between these two. Talk about fireworks and that’s tame when talking about their chemistry. They just sparked off each other immediately and just showed off their powerful attraction. All that sexy banter, and flirtation was just so delicious that I couldn’t help but be entertained by them and their relationship. Of coarse he was using his famous charm on her, but it was more than that they just had this insane connection between them that there was no way that they weren’t going to have some hot sexy times going on between them. They just had that intense pull between them, and though Natalie wanted to deny it, I knew that she wasn’t going to last long, and she didn’t. They just had something that went beyond the physical very early on, and I loved that.

Their first time scene was very hot and passionate to say the least. Oh my goodness I had to fan myself after all the steam that came from that scene. They just had this very intense connection both physically and emotionally that was just compounded when they came together in the lounge of his suite. They didn’t even make it to the bedroom, which just made it all the hotter. Even though this happened pretty early in the story, it didn’t bother me because I was ready with that sexy banter and flirting going on between them when they met, and the anticipation just built from that moment on really and just took off. They weren’t going to last long because what they had was that intense, and it was good. It was very satisfying and I knew their other love making scenes were going to get better and better with the emotional intimacy getting deeper and deeper as the story went along.

And that was very much true especially when they reunited after being parted for a little while was very intense and emotional and just a relief to them as they came back together and became close all over again. It was a sweet scene filled with lots of longing and just how much they needed and wanted each other. It also was a little bit of healing moment between them after feelings got hurt that lead to their separation. It was just a special moment between them.

Also the last lovemaking scene was just as intense, emotional, and very much intimate between them. It was the truly defined what lovemaking was supposed to be between them. It was a beautiful and tender scene, and I loved seeing them achieve that ultimate connection, which they both needed. I could go on and on about the love scene but each was special and very poignant to their growing relationship and closeness and their love.

I also loved, loved, loved that I really got to see the progression and development of the character of Demitri. He really came so far in this story. He started off as this playboy type that used his charm to get woman into his bed all too easily and did so to cover up the fact that he was hurting over what he considered a betrayal and isolation from his siblings. It was beneath the surface but it was there and use sex as a distraction, but that changed once he met Natalie then he wanted more than just that physical release. He wanted her and only her. I could see his growth as he let Natalie closer and closer the more time he spent with her. He revealed more to her than he did to anyone else. And I could see how he was getting in deeper and deeper with her, and how he was changing. And he wanted to changing, knowing that he had to be more in order to be what Natalie deserved. The big wake up call for him was definitely their separation than it was really clear to me that he was in it for the long haul. He wanted to build this serious relationship with her because he knew he couldn’t live without her, and it was really beautiful to see him try to win her over and show her that he really was changing for her. He was very tender and romantic with her, and he was willing to do whatever to fit in her world with her daughter.

I was surprised about the angst in this book because I wasn’t expecting it because they did get together so quickly, but there was angst. A lot of it, and I loved it. OMG was it so good that it just consumed me even further than I already was. I thought I was in love with this book before that, but I was wrong I fell all the more deeper once the angst really came into play, and it was wonderful. The angst happened near the middle of the book, and Demitri definitely did and immature thing that lead to Natalie’s hurt feelings as well as a deep insecurity because she believed from what he said he was using her to hurt his family and he didn’t in fact really want her. Oh the pain. The drama. Everything that goes along with angst was there, and again it was amazing. This angst carried over to their separation and over time so it built and built until there was that friction when they met again, and again it was so good. I loved it. It was the best surprise of all. I love me some angst.

Also I was expecting the amount of romantic moments between them, and I am not talking about the time between the sheets but just them spending time out of the bedroom. Their first date, though filled with desirous feelings, was really romantic. It started the opening up process as well as promoted the closeness between them. The back and forth was there, but it had very sweet undertones to it too. There was also the time they went to Switzerland together and though they did engage in some naughty behavior, they had some tender and romantic moments on the slopes that were very beautiful moments between them as well as got them closer on an emotional level, and I loved that. In fact any time they were together, I loved it especially the scenes where they were tender with one another and emotionally intimate. There were quite a few more romantic moments between them, and I loved them all. I truly felt like they were courting and not just hopping into bed every two seconds. And that was a very refreshing change because the dating aspect in romance tends to be overlooked with physical aspect of the relationship taking over then leading to emotional moments. But I loved seeing them date.

If you are reading this, you can probably tell that I absolutely loved this book, the story, the character, and the romance. Everything really. You probably know the entire plot of the book by just my review because I am going on and on about it, and I could more. There was just so much to talk about in this book because it had everything going for it. I didn’t expect this book to be so good, but it was. It was amazing. I got immediately feels right off the bat, and it just soared from there. I was touched by both characters and what pain they had suffered, which made it hard for both of them to open up and be vulnerable with one another, but when they did it was so beautiful and lovely that I couldn’t help but fall in love with their love story. This book had everything that I never anticipated that it would have. Really I just wanted to finish off this series to say I did it, but this was a very pleasant surprise for me and so satisfying of end to the series that it truly was the best was saved for last. Natalie and Demitri were such a great couple, and they truly were soulmates meant to be. No one else would have fitted for them. They were perfect for each other. I loved them together. I could say so much more to rave about this one, but I’ll leave it here for now. Just know it was worth a read and totally amazing.

Highly recommend for Dani Collins fans as well as Harlequin Presents fans or just romance fans in general. I don’t think you will be disappointed with one. I will definitely be rereading this one again and probably again and again because it was just so amazing.

Every woman heck every man even , has a fantasy they dream about. It's usually in the dead of night when no one is around to hear you accidentally say the dream out loud or do something stupid like make a facial expression that borders on your 'sex face'.

In the new Dani Collins read we meet Natalie Adams and we are taken straight into her fantasy when it becomes reality as she embarks on an affair in Paris with infamous billionaire Demitri Makricosta, reality surpasses her wildest dreams and it's a memory she will always treasure.

But Demitri has other ideas, one night isn't enough and to quench his new found Natalie-diction he suggests she becomes his mistress. Natalie is course thrown off kilter but show me the woman that will say no to a hot billionaire when she has nothing to lose, but the closer Natalie get's to the emotions that Demtri has carefully locked away the more he distracts her with dazzling gifts and a life of luxury holidays to ensure that seduction is the only that remains between them. But can he really carry on with this little game of seduction only or is Natalie getting to his closed off heart ?

The author wrote a very enjoyable read, I very much liked Natalie. She was the kind of heroine most woman think they can be when they get burned in life, but as all woman know, when the time comes it doesn't seem that you are able to really be the person you always told yourself you would be should you get burned. She had spunk but not the overwhelming large dose that some heroine's have, nope just enough to let me know that she will fight to have her little fantasy but she also won't let it shift her focus from her child to the point where she will be a ' it's all about my love life and not what's best for my child' kind of mother .

Demitri was of course the typical bastard hero found in the HP line, but he he had a lot more depth than most. The author did a fantastic job of taking this tortured black heart hero with all his emotional closure and turning him into this remarkable man that no woman can resist, and the man certainly had me weak at the knees when he goes from tortured to saved! Loved it!!

Strong characters, wonderfully crafted plot and a great ending to a beautiful journey of redemption, self discovery and best of all a stunning message of life being full of surprises and when reality comes knocking it's never what our fantasies were, it's always so much better !

Recommended for all fans of Dani Collins books.

I really enjoyed this story I loved the setting starting in Paris the City of love and maybe fantasies for Natalie Adams single Mum who is working for a few weeks in Paris setting up a new IT programme for the Makricosta Hotel chain she works in one of the Canadian Hotels and jumped at the chance for this job every girl has her dream.

Demitri Makricosta is in Paris at the hotel he runs the marketing side of things and I feel is wounded from a terrible childhood he has lots of one night stands never thinking that he will ever settle down like his siblings have that life is not for him.

But things change for Demitri the instant he hears Natalie laugh he must have her and is this the answer to Natalie's fantasy?. This is a story that is very emotional and very sensual as Natalie and Demitri learn so much about each other and themselves Natalie is honest and fiery and opens up emotions in Demitri that he has kept locked away for so long and Demitri wants to do so much for Natalie as she deserves and this makes him very happy yes this is a story that will have you turning the pages and cheering them on as they journey to that wonderful HEA.

I highly recommend this one.

Seduced into the Greek’s World by Dani Collins was a passionate romance with sizzling chemistry between the main characters set in the beautiful and captivating setting of Paris.

Demitri’s struggle to overcome his past has been tough. He does not do emotions and keeps himself at a distance from everyone. Natalie too has been hurt in the past by her ex and her past might not be dark as Demitri but she too is afraid to give her heart again. They both were very different characters but they help each other overcome their pasts and move on. Especially, Natalie who showers Demitri with so much love and comfort and helps him emotionally. This is what I loved about their romance and this is also the main reason I enjoyed it so much.

There are misunderstandings and obstacles on the way but the happily ever after was worth it!

I absolutely loved this book and thought it was the very best, in what was otherwise a somewhat uneven series. Demitri and Natalie were just such a fabulous, interesting, and engaging couple and I loved the fact that was no ridiculous misunderstanding, interference by OW, or similarly fabricated obstacles. The obstacles were credible and the navigation past them was also beautifully done.

Instead of manufactured difficulties, we saw Demitri change in front of our eyes and become the man that Natalie deserved and who was the best version of himself and who he really wanted to be.

The dialogue was fabulous, especially the sexy banter at the early stages of their story. Demitri's reason for being so closed in and uninterested in love and marriage was believable and I liked the way Natalie brought him to realise he had to reconcile with his family if he was going to move forwards.
I really like this author and this is one of her most emotionally satisfying stories that I've read.

A must read; don't pass go; could not put it down! Perfect story! AAARRRGH I loved it soooo much!

First thing I loved is how opposite this is to normal stories. Natalie throws caution to the wind, she's like you know what? Bugger everything, I deserve ME time, I deserve the fantasy, I deserve for a week of my life to be perfect! How often do we think this? And whole heartedly jumps feet first into a quick fling with Dimitri, brother of her boss. No strings they agree and it all goes along swimmingly until Dimitri finds out Natalie's closely guarded and heavily protected secret.

I loved Dimitri's sass and character, with the perfect touch of humor to make him a lovable and very dimensional character. He has to be one of my favorites!

Natalie is portrayed perfectly, there wasn't anything I didn't like about her and her outlook on life totally captured my attention. We all want our dreams to come true even for a little while and I loved the concept of the story being that Natalie does just that!

This wonderfulness, fantasy, perfection that Natalie discovers with Dimitri comes to a grinding crashing halt when Natalie's world is exposed and then when things cant get any worse, they do when Dimitri's family finds out he's cavorting with the staff. Having enough of his carefree don't give a damn attitude Dimitri's family turn their back on him, and Dimitri finds himself where he always fears he would end up - alone!

Beautifully crafted plot, page turning writing and wonderfully written characters pour from the pages as we discover a new Dimitri as he finally faces his demons and chases after what means the most to him in the world which ends in a beautiful conclusion.

Dimitri's siblings have been covered in other books by Dani Collins and if you haven't read them you sure will want to after completing this one because they are all mentioned enough to help you become familiar with Dimitri's family.

It's a horrible winter weekend here and I totally planned to do a lot of reading while I'm sick with a cold, but I'm so reluctant to because I don't want to leave them behind :(

I received an ARC for my honest opinion and I can honestly say, I loved every single word I read, every giggle to be had and every heart breaking moment I read. 6 stars really!

SEDUCED IN TO THE GREEK’S WORLD by author Dani Collins is a June 2015 release by Harlequin Presents series.

Natalie Adams is on a business trip, she had fantasized for a romantic fling while in Paris. But it was a fantasy only, wasn’t it? As a single mum, she always is careful to maintain decorum of morality for her daughter’s benefit. But away from home and in romantic city Paris, who would hesitate if approached for a dinner date with gorgeous Demitri Makricosta?

Demitri doesn’t do long term or commitment but the attraction between them was such that he couldn’t let Natalie walk away after Paris. Could it lead to something more? What would happen when past hurts and secrets are out in the open?

SEDUCED IN TO THE GREEK’S WORLD is a sizzling romance. It’s very fast paced and filled with sensuality and emotional intensity. Author Dani Collins brought to life a mesmerizing romance with a gorgeous hero and a strong feisty heroine and the result sparkles on the pages.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

"Seduced into the Greek's World" by Dani Collins is an absolute MUST read especially if you like contemporary romance novels. This is a romance book written in a way that is enjoyable while you're out relaxing by a pool or at the beach, but also one that can be read in a comfy chair at home.

When billionaire Demitri Makricosta first meets Natalie Adams in Paris he thinks that she is propositioning his brother in law, and that they are sleeping together. We find early on that this is not the case but Demitri has this alpha male mentality when it comes to women. The only problem with that is that Natalie is enjoying it.

So much more to this story that the reader must read to find out what happens especially as their 'relationship' becomes hot and heavy.

What do you get when Natalie, who has always had to take care of everyone in her life, meets Demitri who only worries about himself and doesn't care about hurting anyone else who's dark past has hardened his feeling toward family and life? An explosion of lust between two people, attracted to each other, but plan to enjoy each other for only a few days in Paris. Natalie is determined to keep her daughter the most important person in her life a secret. She was burned by her ex in the past and wants to enjoy this little time alone so, Her Plan is to just enjoy the moment ,but fails as she starts to have deep feelings for Demetri who only wants her to be his mistress. Time with Natalie is changing him making him realize that all is not as it seems, and he finds himself telling her things he never told anyone before. What takes place is a fantastic journey of discovery by two. He realizes she is bringing out feelings he never had and that she actually had him from her first laugh and their first hello. Its a bumpy road with lots of ruts but eventually they find the fantasy that Natalie was always looking for. Dani Collins gives you a lovely story of misunderstanding and redemption but mostly the love that along with all the hurt was there all the while. She makes you part of the Makricosta family and you take the ride with Demitri and Natalie,to the joy and the importance of family. Wonderful book

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. You can view the original review on Genuine Jenn

This is a Harlequin Passion romance and the first one I have read in years. I used to read a lot of the mystery Harlequin back in high school/college. This book starts off a little slow for myself. I find the characters are very young in their ways. Natalie is a single mom working for a huge hotel chain, Demitri is one of the owners. He is a ladies man and hasn't decided to settle down. Natalie has been married and divorced and doesn't want to get married again, or so she tells Demitri. Natalie is in France at the office there when Demitri hits on her and wants to take her out. Natalie went with the idea of having some fun as a single women but wasn't too sure about getting involved with Demitri. They do hook up and it was hard to watch as Demitri was having feelings and Natalie was taking it as a fantasy. Then he finds out she is a mom and just walks out on her. The book is a light read, something you can start and put down and pick up without feeling lost. It flows a lot better at the middle to end.

I am giving this book a 3 out of 5 stars just because both the characters got on my nerves a lot. In the end I didn't mind them but sometimes throughout the book you just want to yell at one of them to smarten up and open their eyes. Oh well, it was still a good read.

I am a huge fan of the Harlequin Presents line and this was a book I couldn't put down! Ms. Collins has created some wonderful, complex characters that enthrall you to the very last page and have you joining them on all their emotional ups and downs. Demitri learns how to love and Natalie learns she deserves it. Loved this book! Thanks for a great read Dani Collins! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review which was no hardship at all!

What I really liked about this one was that Demetri is the one who humbles himself and apologizes.
Story: Natalie is a single mom. She's had a tough life. She was the carer for her ill brother growing up and then got pregnant right out of high school to a man who need a mom.
So, on a work trip, she decides to have an affair and winds up with one of the owners of the company, Dimetri. She doesn't tell him about her daughter because she wants to live in a fantasy.
Demetri finds he wants to spend more time with Natalie, but when he finds out she has a daughter, he's all mad and says some hurtful things she hears. He's upset because of some family drama and hidden info that's come out.
So after he breaks with his family and Natalie, he finds himself miserable and alone. What does he do? He seeks out Natalie, willing to try to make things work because he misses her.
There are kittens on ex-MIL's farm and the daughter is adorable, but not annoyingly so.
The issue comes with another miscommunication where both H and h are hearing what the other says through their own beliefs. Demetri makes up for it and with his family. I really liked this story.

I didn't like it. The story wasn't horrible, but was boring. Also not a fan of heroine having a child and her being so close to her ex mother in law, her ex husband is also still around. My personal preference is if a character has a kid with someone else that the other parent not be in the picture.

Hero was a pretty awful person before meeting heroine and even a couple times during book. It's nice that he liked her so much that he changed and grew as a person. It was pretty boring to read though. P.

Surprisingly good. More characters with sad histories but both managed to face them as adults. She is more successful at adult behavior than he, and the reason this story works is that H realizes this, wants to be better person, wants to be worthy of her.

Almost 4 stars, leaving at 3 because the last 3 HPs I read, in same anthology as this from the library, were ghastly. I may like this more than it deserves in simple gratitude for finding an HP worth reading.

I thought this book was the best of the four in the series. I normally don't enjoy man-whore plot lines, but I feel like the author makes it work in this one. The rationales for their individual behaviors is believable, which is always a nice change. The three books before this one were just kind of meh, but I have found this one to be re-readable.

Far from home when one indulges in some fantasy, they never know how it will pan out.

The same is true for Natalie. Having a fling with her boss' brother was supposed to be a couple of days thing not something that would effect her in anyway.

Demitri has been hiding behind his devil may care persona for his entire life for the sake of his family but the underlying feeling of being betrayed by them eats him up from the inside.

The only person he is able to connect with is Natalie who should not have been more than a night's entertainment (and my feminist side is shrieking at this but because there is an HEA involved it will not become violent) becomes something much more.

And when he finds that she has been hiding stuff from him, it is a figuratively lethal blow.

With all the emotional entanglements where Natalie and Demitri have many other people to think about before they think of themselves, their path to happiness is full obstacles and what-ifs that rise like monsters to gobble them completely.

But love wins and all is set on the right path.

Demitri is the youngest of 3 siblings (or is it 4-there is an older half-brother).Demitri, Theo and Adara all work in the family business.Adara is married to Gideon, the real head of the company. The
siblings quarrel all the time among themselves, don't get along. The older children were abused by
their father.
Natalie comes to a work seminar in Paris ,leaving her small daughter in Montreal. She meets Demitri
and they have a fling, which results in..Adara firing her brother !
Natalie grew up as second best, her sick brother taking precedence. Her ex-husband behaves as a child
himself, being irresponsible.
Back in Montreal,Demitri wants to meet Zoey.He feels bad about his childhood, not remembering
his oldest brother,Nick (who has a different surname). He wants to open his own business .An opportunity to make peace with his siblings occurs and he jumps on the idea.
I got a feeling that each of the 4 Makricostas deserves a story, but don't know whether they exist or not. This dysfunctional family captures the reader.

Demitri was a bit too selfish for my tastes, but hopefully he really did turn a new page in his life and learn how to care for someone other than himself. I could completely understand how easily Natalie was sucked into the fantasy Demitri represented; after taking care of everyone else, it was so tempting to just give in and let him throw his money around, providing her with her every desire. It's takes a while for Demitri to understand that love has more value than material things, if he would just man up and accept it.
