Life isn’t meant to be fair, but sometimes it would be nice if it was. How much can someone take? Drama was the root of Cooper and Brittany’s relationship, and all they want to do now is enjoy being back in each other’s arms. Is that too much to ask?
Plane crashes, jaguar attacks, almost drowning, men with spears, arrows through the shoulder, beastly animals, mental institutions, murderous loggers...it’s all in the day’s life of Brittany and Cooper. But when they thought that finding their way back to each other was the end to all their problems, little do they know, their problems are just beginning.

So I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Summary: This book is the third and final installment in the Lost series by D.M. Thornton. Brittany and Cooper are reunited and getting to know each other all over again outside of the jungle. Life seems to be going perfectly for once in each of their tragic lives. But good things only last so long right? Cooper and Brittany are going to be thrown for a loop one last time to see how strong their love really is.
Dislikes: There was some religious aspects of the book that almost made it seem like Brittany was almost insistent on Cooper believing which was just a bit much for me since I'm not really religious at all. Those small parts I did have to choke down.
Likes: The romance was so raw and real. The emotions are bled through on the page for you to feel right along with them. The story is over a longer period of time from the previous books and I really enjoyed getting to see much more as far as timeline.
Overall: This book made me laugh, cry and swoon. Literally big crocodile tears, ugly crying. It was so eloquently written and I feel like I really got to be apart of the this story first hand. I was there holding their hands all the way to the end. Hummingbird and warrior will always have a very special place in my heart. Definitely a story that everyone who likes love stories needs to read. This story will survive the test of time.

DM Thornton is an excellent author. She has a way of making the characters come to life so you care about everything that happens to them, especially if you have followed their story in the other two books.
This author is also gifted in her ability to make the reader feel each and every emotion. You will have your heartstrings stretched taught and then broken as you experience the soaring highs and desperate lows as Brittany and Cooper wallow in the joy of being together again. There is no doubt they are hopelessly in love with a love that will never die.
And then your heart will be ripped from your body.
I love this series and I am a huge fan, but if you suffer from depression or are easily saddened, you may find this book too deeply emotional.
I've loved Cooper and Brittany's relationship since the very first book in this series. They are so great together, I mean they still managed to find each other in the last book. How amazing was that? So I was so prepared for some hot sex scenes and a happily ever after. Boy, was I wrong. Well, there were some sex scenes but it came with a boat load of drama.
I can't go into much detail with what happens to them because it would spoil it. Even though I kind of wished someone would have given me a heads up about it.
A lot of this book was really hard for me to read and I wish I could say why. I'll just say it was really sad to see Brittany going through something like that but it was heartwarming to see Cooper by her side. I'm still trying to cope with the ending so I'm not sure how I liked it yet.
Cooper and Brittany will always have a place in my heart.
