The resulting shootout ends with the death of Floyd Bailey, son of wealthy landowner Homer Bailey.
But was Floyd the innocent bystander he appeared to be?
At the same time Tate learns that his mentor, Lefty Shadde, has gone missing on the trail of another outlaw.
Is Shadde’s disappearance related to Bowtell? Are the Bailey’s also somehow involved?
When Tate finally catches up with Bowtell, he finds himself outnumbers and at a huge disadvantage. But that won’t stop the fearless ranger.
With bullets flying, can lawman Tate Linnaker survive long enough to find the answers and dish out some Frontier Law ?

A Texas Ranger Western/Two Gangs vs Two Rangers/One Town
HM has penned a Texas Ranger Western Which has two Rangers searching for two different gangs, but both Rangers conclude that the two gangs are working together. A local rancher is using his ranch as a hiding place for the two outlaw gangs that cross freely back and forth across. One Ranger is ambushed and killed. The other seeks revenge. He gets the town to hide and wait for the two gangs to attack the city. They do and the Ranger led force wins the battles. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
I read for pleasure and relaxation, not to write reviews. I feel bad that the star rating system should be sufficient for most readers and that reviews should be left to recognized critics.
