An alternate cover for this ASIN can be found here.
Ronan Lyle has been dumped. While his ex is dating around and figuring out if she loves him enough to take him back, he moves to Miami, hoping a change of scenery will help the time pass. That change of scenery comes with Connor Brien, his new roommate and coworker on the Outdoor Maintenance team at Wolf Miami.
Ronan can handle Connor’s obnoxious personality and exhausting drive for beer and women. What he’s not sure he can handle is Connor’s attractive but razor-tongued stepsister—a surprise roommate—and a woman who very quickly makes it clear she doesn’t want Ronan there.
Ryan Tatum just spent the night crying her eyes out over being dumped. The last thing she needs when she wakes up is to find out her brother has rented the bedroom next to hers. Worse, it’s to one of the Outdoor crew guys from Wolf, guys who are notorious for their slutty behavior. If Ronan’s good looks are any indication, there will be a never-ending parade of random—very loud— women on the other side of her wall.
Ronan and Ryan do their best to stay out of each other’s way but, with each confrontation, the physical attraction grows. Throw vulnerability into the mix, and Ronan soon finds himself in a situation he’s sure Connor will not be okay with. But what's a guy to do when lust, red-hot chemistry, and the perfect moment collide?
RONAN is a novella about the two friends, Ronan and Connor, before they head to Wolf Cove, Alaska in Nina West's Wolf Cove Series.
So sad to see Ronan gone. I would love to have read more on him and Ryan. Ronan is super sexy and confident. Why not continue his story? Since he and Abbi didn't end well, well not the way he had wanted it to end up, why not give him a story of his own with the continuation of Ryan? I'd certainly read it! Ronan is my fantasy. Please write another book on him.
ACTUALLY SCREAMING NOW! News: 🎉🎉🎉RONAN IS GETTING HIS OWN BOOK!!!!🎉🎉🎉 And this will be revamped!!!! So I will hopefully say bye to my 1 star review!!! My baby deserves the best💜💜💜💜💞💞💞
-- Review 1⭐️ This was...something? I love Ronan, but this book has no business existing.
What the heck. I want more Ronan and Ryan. I loved this, and loved knowing what comes next for Ronan and Connor, but would I devour an actual relationship between them once the guys get back in September. Can you imagine the tension if she actually ends up with you know, and then Ronan being jealous or possessive. The POTENTIAL IS CRAY.
If they already have books and I’m writing all this, then I’m sorry. But I don’t think they do so I’ll just end this by saying who do I have the beg for more?
I finished the series thinking I get a whole book about Ronan but no, this is a little fluff book on how him and Conner met and how they scored jobs to Alaska. (It was actually a good quick read, just read it first)
My heart is broken now, I wanted Ronan to be okay after what happened with Abbi and Henry….
It was a good book but I’m actually REALLLLLLLY annoyed that it is what it is and isn’t what I wanted it to be…. I even checked the reading order on her website and this is listed LAST... LADY FIX THIS BECAUSE IT IS WRONG, good god woman!!!
⭐️/5 - Call me petty but I do not care ❤️🔥/5 🌶️/5
Loved this little novella because I’m OBSESSED with Ronan. The only reason I’m giving in 4⭐️ is because I just wanted more. More stories about him, more of his POV in Alaska, and more stories of Ronan just being absolutely adorable and hot at the same time. Top 5 book bf!
I really enjoyed this little novella of Ronan when he first met Conor and before he went to Alaska. To be honest, I just adore Ronan so anything with him in I will enjoy reading! I REALLY hope we get a series or a few books of Ronan from the end of the Wolf Hotel series to see where life takes him. It would also be great to see one about Conor and Margot as well. There are just so many great characters that I want more for each of them!! Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
I really liked Ronan in the Wolf Hotel series so when I found out he had his own novella, I knew I had to get my grubby little hands on it. Boy, what a waste of an hour and a half. Like what even was this? It takes place a month or so before the Wolf Hotel series so I felt completely uninvested in the ‘romance’ since we already know this doesn’t even go anywhere. Really wish Tucker wrote a sequel about Ronan and not a prequel.
4 / 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐️, but Ronan gets all the stars 🥵 3 / 5 🌶️ Spicy chapters: 6, 14, 20, 22
First Person, Dual POV 🙌
Ronan (MMC) and Ryan (FMC)
Pros: Omg, it's Ronan, y'all!! The best character in the Wolf Hotel Series (imo). I'll never get enough of him~ 🫦😏🥵😳🤯
Cons: I'm sorry, but I didn't like Ryan, and I don't think that she's good enough for Ronan. Ryan is so judgemental, holds grudges, and seems to have 0 empathy or patience/understanding towards Ryan, who literally just moved into his place (I.e. when he borrows a towel because he doesn't have one, and she overreacts, getting furious at him).
She also doesn't appear to be a girl's girl at all, calling Ronan and Connors flings w*ores and assuming the worst of them, simply for having a very consensual one night stand with them 🤬😠😤
Final thoughts: I've had my fair share of crushes on book boyfriends / MMC's. But Ronan is in a whole different league. This guy isn't just HOT. He's pure walking, talking, s*x appeal. Plus, Ronan is a good guy with an edge, big d*ck energy and I'm here for it. 👏 👏 👏
This novella is entertaining, and although the plot itself isn't anything special, the fact that Ronan is in it as the MMC makes the read worth it.
I read this to prepare for his book, which is coming out this year, and I really don't want to read it anymore. Where’s the drama and angst? I understand that this is a short prequel, so it wasn't intended to be anything more than a brief introduction to Ronan. While it does have some spicy moments, I don’t think anyone really needs to read it at all.
so this was annoying bc it's listed as the 5th book in the series but it's a prequel to others and the story kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Like another reviewer said, H sleeps with ow before AND after hooking up with h. Just not for me
The rest of the series, though, (esp books 1 and 2) are FIRE. So good
3.5 stars. Ugh. Ronan was my favorite character of the series and I was excited for him to get his own book. I didn't realize it was a prequel. Womp womp. He deserves a HEA and I'm sad we don't get to see it. Boo.
Very underwhelming after reading The Wolf Hotel series and knowing what Ronan and Connor get up to. Though, it was interesting to learn a little more about their friendship.
Let me explain. Ronan and Ryan had so much chemistry, in my opinion. The sad part is how true this book is. I mean both of them liked each other VERY much and they fit together so well. But, they didn't end up together. He f*cked another girl just for the looks of her (and not because of her character or anything else) and Ryan started seeing another guy: "-I am going to miss you. -And I'll miss you. But then you and this Kyle guy will hook up and you will miss me less. -And you will hook up with half the woman in Alaska, and miss me less"
It was just so realistic and true, it pained me. Maybe it was also because we know he also wanted Abbie and she ended up with Henry.
p.s. some comments on this book were soooo unnecessary: "...but if she isn't carful about her diet and exercise, the extra weight will be hard to hide", like what????
I somehow didn't realise that this was part of a series, and wasn't actually a romance.... The H sleeps with others before and after, and no HEA. Probably wouldn't have read it if I'd known, as I didn't find the end satisfying at all, and didn't love the set up enough to read the series.
Wait... so, that's it? So many things left up in the air... The story would have been great if what ronan and ryan had grew and if we got to see how things went for him after alaska. Im going to just hope there is a sequel coming somehow
such a disappointment I should have read better the blurb, but I was impatient to get my hands on Ronan's story. I loved Ronan in the Wolf Hotel series, and wanted to read about him, about him finding his happy ending but this is the story of how Ronan met Connor and how they ended up in Alaska
I wanted more, it left me frustrated, so yeah... disappointed
