No don't do it, run and don't look back. This book should be given some meds, like adderall cause it's all over the place, maybe throw in some bi-polar meds cause well it was like a manic phase and last throw in some Prozac cause it was so bad it was sad. I really don't like to write negative reviews but damn I couldn't let u go in blind.
This is worse than expected. Please folks, save your time and money and don't go for it, it's not worth it. It's even worse than FSOG! So many big holes in the story, that it almost makes no sense at all. I skimmed mostly through it instead of reading it properly, just because I don't dnf reading books. If I could give negative stars, this would be the first book to deserve such...
I dont like to write negative reviews because anyone who is brave enough to write and write what they believe is already a winner to me. If you can make be feel emotions whatever they may be is to be admired. This was a very short novella with truck full of things happening and I think it was pretty good considering, could be developed and expanded. I did enjoy the h's mother quite a bit. That being said, this book is not safe! My idea of HEA is that the main H/h end together no matter what - that did not happen here. The Hzero was a poor rich boy brought up by a very disturbed father who in turn was very disturbed, dark. He became instantly obsessed with h just by photo but had very detailed disturbing sex with another employee (she also sleeps with father)h caught them in the act, he cheated again very long, explicity with someone sent by father, h heard everything. She eventually forgave him but made him suffer first -yeah! Other disturbing things happened. Long and short she ended up with someone else who she admits was "safe" definately no where in love with him, h ends up alone/drowing himself even after finding out she had his kid! we didnt actually see him drown, its presumed he is trying to drown himself. Im hoping a part 2 is in the works and in fact he didnt drown and he gets redeemed and that the father get what he deserves!--hear that author!!! HEA is required for H/h!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This book feels like it is trying to be like Fifty Shades but with more fucked up ness and a lot worse writing. I skim read it but only to get my money's worth. Definitely do not recommend.
I'm not one to leave bad reviews. However, that was probably the worst book I've ever read. It had no plot line. No build up to anything. No background. Nothing made sense. It was recommended by an author that I love. Now I'm wondering if she just posted that out of obligation? This was my first K Webster book and I'm not sure there will be a second.
I just don’t know. After reading the last line, all I thought was “What the fuck?” There is. I rhyme or reason or up and down. I just don’t know...I’m speechless.
i think publishing opportunities should be given to other authors , like there are literally so many good authors out there who can't publish any books and this piece of shit book was published?
This book wasn't horrible since it definitely had potential, but it was all over the place. Seemed very scattered because it had a good flow and then kept going off on tangents. THE ENDING COMPLETELY SUCKED.
Do not (and I mean DO NOT) waste your time! I didn't understand this book because no one can! I don't like how it's written: there is a beginning and an end, but the in between it's crazy (bad, not good)!
This book was just bad, bad, bad! I picked it up because it was recommended by an author that I love. I figured that if they were recommending it then it was a no brainer. In all honesty I didn't even finish the book. I tried. I really tried but it was extremely hard to keep turning each page. I finally had to admit defeat because it was painful to read. It was like the book had multiple personalities. The story was random at times and I had a hard time figuring out what was even happening. I am not sure that I have encountered a book this bad!!! The sad thing is is that the cover is great and with a title like this then hopes are high :(
