I lost my job three weeks before Christmas.

This "review" is going to be pretty short because a) it's a review on a novella [so they're short by nature] and b) I'm lazy [mostly I'm lazy]. This basically sums up my life right now:

Anywho... this was a super sweet and quick Christmas read <3 I loved how awkward the hero was (I dig any hero who blushes) and I liked the heroine's straightforward attitude. There was definitely some insta-love going on but I didn't mind it. I think I'm more put off by insta-love when there is an OTT alpha male, but with this beta hero I enjoyed it. There was some random pushing away at the end that I wasn't a fan of, but I've come to expect that with novellas because they still feel the need to add some sort of conflict even if it's forced and makes little to no sense. They're always easy to overlook though because they last like five pages lol ;)
Uhh... yeah... so if you like short, steamy, holiday-themed novellas with a sweet hero, this just might be your cuppa :)

Absolutely adorably sweet - yet, quite a few steamy sex scenes. It's what I would imagine a smutty Hallmark movie would be like......

I enjoyed this story for the lighthearted, holiday romance and the quirky personalities of both characters. I usually don't enjoy stories that feature heroes who aren't particularly alpha, but I ended up really liking the bashful computer geek and the outgoing heroine who helped bring him out of his shell. They were a really cute couple!

Sweet
I really enjoyed this story! It was a quick, sweet and sexy read. I liked both characters especially the shyness of Lucas. I usually like my H to be very alpha but there wss something so sweet and attractive about Lucas' awkwardness. This is my first book that I have read by Arabella Abbing and it won't be my last.

A delightful christmas read. read it in one sitting. This could definitely be one the christmas movies on tv at the moment.
A sassy heroine and a main man that was hot, loaded and quiet real with his awkwardness at the beginning.
A quick read but very enjoyable.

What a pretty story. It's interesting, sexy and well written. The pace is steadily fast and well developed as the heroine, Alexis, finds herself alone and jobless in a ruthless winter New York. It is very exciting when the hero comes out of nowhere, all chivalry and awkward yet polite ways, and offers her a glimpse of his secluded and profitable life.
That very scene when they meet is fantastic.
I really enjoyed their interactions because they're funny as she's so open and friendly and he's so attractive yet insecure about his suitability in relationships. Can you be shy and a workhaholic and still be eligible for love and companionship?
I relished the chapters where they spend time together as a couple because it was a part full of fun and tender passion. They're falling in love! There's a peak of drama that lasted enough to make it into a blissful reconciliation and a warm and romantic epilogue. I loved this Christmassy novella, the story and the writing are excellent.

Alexis just lost her job right before Christmas. It was her first white Christmas in NY and she’d be spending it broke and alone. After being mugged, her white knight shows up and saves the day…in more ways than one. Logan White becomes her savior, offering her a job to clean his house. His house was HUGE.
This story had the makings of a good, warm holiday romance. The two become fast friends, then they slowly become romantic. I thought it was a little slow. I liked how it all started, but then it tapered off once Alexis moved in the house. Writing was pretty good and, all in all, this was a decent winter romance.

Not worth the time.
This looked like it would be better than it was. The MMC was a man who blushed when speaking of intimate things. He was less experienced sexually. He saves a young woman who had lost her job and was soon to be homeless for lack of rent by offering her a job.
There was an attraction, but he only kissed her. She's not satisfied and decides to push things when they decide to spend Christmas together. Suddenly, he's a master of sexual ability. That's when the f##ks started and I stopped.

I absolutely love Logan and Alexis. They are the opposite to all the other couples I’ve read. This story has so much twists and turns you wouldn’t want to put this book down. The characters themselves has developed so well in this story it’s hard to put it into words. Most of all it’s filled with laughter, love and bonding.

Awesome book!!
I loved this book!! Alexis and Logan's story is so sweet, heartwarming and steamy. Alexis looses her job and is mugged right before Christmas. Logan comes to her rescue in more ways than one!

I really enjoyed this book. Logan and Alexis were absolutely wonderful. It's really refreshing to read a honest and true feel good story that I couldn't but more importantly didn't want to put down.

Quick sexy sweet read.
Alexis is on a downward spiral when Logan saves her from a mugging.. He offers her a job and things progress. I like that Logan is not the cocky dominant type,. I hope to read more books from this author.

I am SUCH a sucker for holiday romance stories. I don’t know what it is about them, but I can’t get enough. I truly also love Logan here. It’s nice to read about the socially awkward leading man sometimes.

Logan and Alexis meet when he saves her from a mugger, then gives her a job cleaning his home. Alexis is instantly attracted to Logan but has no idea how he feels about her. Then Alexis invites Logan to spend Christmas with her and decides she is going to seduce him. Well, it could go one of 2 ways, he wants her too and they have sex or he first rejects her then fires her. Hopefully she gets her desired outcome.

It is a fun and exciting read. It shows two people who have doubts and fears and climb up that hill to love and understanding. Life hands her an awful lot of drama and fears. Here he comes. It was a good read to relax with. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
