This book breaks down the different terms that you will hear in Christian theology; again, this is like Theology Applied: A Living Faith in that it is simple.

However, I rated this 4 instead of three because it explains Covenant Theology vs Dispensationalist Theology and I've been trying to find understandable definitions for nearly three years without luck.

Recommended 13+ for topics younger readers may not understand.

Used with Liberty University Online's THEO 104.

One of the clearest and simplest overviews of most of the discussed tenets of theology I have read in years. If you are looking for an in-depth treatise on any of the topics listed in the book, this is not for you. However, if you are a newer or younger believer, this might be a top 5 book I have ever read in terms of explaining the basics. I give it my highest recommendation if you are beginning your journey in your study of theology.

This book is an excellent introduction to the various important themes of Christian theology. It also provides a great glossary of relevant terms in both written and video formates. However, I think it could be greatly benefited by a more critical approach. The text suffers from simplistic and (frankly) ignorant examinations of doctrines at points.

I enjoyed this resource. It did not go deep into detail in terms of doctrines. However, I found it to be an excellent source of thoughts on broad topics within Christianity.
