First Bite contains the first book in three of Steven Becker's series: Wood’s Reef "A riveting tale of intrigue and terrorism, Key West characters in their full glory! Fast paced and continually changing direction Mr Becker has me hooked on his skillful and adventurous tales from the Conch Republic!"
It's easy to become invisible in the Florida Keys. Mac Travis was doing his best to keep a low profile: diving, fishing, and enough salvage work to pay his bills. It's a good life until he discovers something while spearfishing that could change the pristine Keys forever.
Pirate "A gripping tale of pirate adventure off the coast of 19th Century Florida!"
After decades at seas, pirate legend Jose' Gasparilla is prepared to retire. As he and his crew split their treasure, the promise of one final prize lures the ship back into action. Little do they know that the purported riches are nothing but a trap set by the fledgling U.S. Navy!
Bonefish Blues "I just couldn't put this book down. A great plot filled with action. Steven Becker brings each character to life, allowing the reader to become immersed in the plot."

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, & great font/writing style. 3 very well written pirate sea adventure books. They were all very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. They could all make great pirate sea adventure movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

This ebook had 3 different books, each the beginning of a series. My biggest problem now is to decide on which of the exciting adventures to read first! The writer did a great job of making each story a totally different experience. I normally read other genres, but I am so happy with this author that I will only be reading him for some time, until I go thru them all!
It is seldom that I get a box set where all the books are GREAT. This was a starter set and I loved all 3 of the books. Steven Becker writes like Clive Cussler Dirk Pitt style with the setting being in the Keys of Florida. I am looking forward to reading a lot more of his books. Give Steve a try and I promise you willl not be sorry. Just love his style.
I enjoyed the first story most. It gets five stars. The second story had too much "boating language" for me. However, I did still enjoy the investigation. It gets four stars. The third story was about some pirates running from the Navy a couple of centuries ago. Again, too much nautical language and sailing description for my interest. It gets 2.5 stars.
Each one of these books is the first book in three different series. And I want to say that I am loving these series and want to read all the rest of the books. Mr. Becker is a great storyteller and a really good writer. I cannot find any fault with anything that he did. These books are just awesome!!
Fellow readers, if you like reading fast-paced type action with no slow-down, not even at the end of any chapter and don't mind not being able to stop for the night, then this is the author for you! My only criticism is that this and all books have to come to an end! Not even a lull paragraph to catch your breath!
Steven Becker is a great author of the action and adventure genre. This set provides a good introduction to his style and some interesting characters. I look forward to reading more of the stories in all of these series.
Steven Becker is a great writer. If you like South Florida and The Florida Keys then these books are for you. Pirate is especially outstanding - truly excellent!!
This collection of books is fast paced, characters are strong and the storylines are engaging. The descriptive text for the mix of settings draws the reader in and you are there with the characters. Certainly will read more from this author
This is a pretty good series. That said, the first book is terrible and not worth reading. Since the books have nothing to do with each other, do yourself a favor and skip the first book (Wood's Reef).
I've read several books by this author, and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. This set gives the first book in three series, and they are all quite good.
