The Cutter twins were known as the “Badass” Dom’s at Club Alpha Cove, but at the same time all the submissives coveted their attention. There was one, however, who craved it, and then demanded it. Because they promised her, six years before that they would come for her. She waited for them. They never came.
Amy Dwyer was devastated when they didn’t come for her as they had promised and nearly made the biggest mistake of her life. Now, nearly seven years later, she realized she still wanted them. However, it was not going to be easy. Dax Cutter hated her and he made no secret of it.
Dax and Gunther were disillusioned by the one woman they had both wanted from the first time they met her. Dax hated her for what she did to them, to him and his actions pushed her away time and again, while he pulled her back with the other hand, helpless against the passion she awakened in him.
When a lethal situation developed with a stalker, their protectiveness overtook their distrust and brought them closer together. Will the lurking evil destroy their chance at happiness, or will the sweet, still innocent Amy bring them together?
A note from the author: This book is a love story that was threatened by misunderstandings and Dax’s pain that drove his actions. If you are a skimmer and mainly read dialogue, you are going to miss the inner conflict that Dax and Amy deal with throughout the first part of the book. Conflict that drives them to say and act in opposing directions to what their real feelings are. This story concentrates on these three characters and you will find none of the Masters you came to love in the rest of the series. I know you would have loved to, but they had enough of their own time, this story is Amy, Dax and Gunther’s, so please read this book as it was intended, a standalone story with no relevance on how the other Masters acted in the previous books.
Note: This book is intended for mature audiences. Please read the note in the beginning of the book and do not purchase this book if you find such content objectionable.
“Isn’t it a universal truth that it’s our singular experiences and passion, for whatever thing or things, which molds us all into the individuals we become? Whether it's hidden in the depths of our soul or exposed for all to see?”
Linzi Basset is a South African born animal rights supporter with a poet’s heart, and she is also a bestselling fiction writer of suspense filled romance erotica books; who as the latter, refuses to be bound to any one sub-genre. She prefers instead to stretch herself as a storyteller which has resulted in her researching and writing historical and even paranormal themed works.
Her initial offering: Club Alpha Cove, a BDSM club suspense series released back in 2015, reached Amazon’s Bestseller list, and she has been on those lists ever since. Labeling her as prolific is a gross understatement as just a few short years later she has now been published over a hundred times.
“I write from the inside out. My stories are both inside me and a part of me so it can be either pleasurable to release them or painful to carve them out. I live every moment of every story I write. So, if you're looking for spicy and suspenseful, I'm your girl... woman... writer... you know what I mean!"
Linzi believes that by telling stories in her own voice, she can better share with her readers the essence of her being: her passionate nature; her motivations; and her wildest fantasies. She feels every touch as she writes, every kiss, every harsh word uttered, and this to her is the key to a never-ending love of writing.
Ultimately, all books by Linzi Basset are about passion. To her, passion is the driving force of all emotion; whether it be lust, desire, hate, trust, or love. This is the underlying message contained in her books.
Her advice: “Believe in the passions driving your desires; live them; enjoy them; and allow them to bring you happiness.”

This is a mixed review and it contains spoilers!!!
I have been reading the entire series, and while the whole general story line of the club and characters has been great, I am glad she finally got off the whole syndicate bad guy theme. The stalker for Amy in this book was much improved. I didn't care of the whole "I hate you" vibe from both Amy & Dax and yet they both wouldn't stay away of each other, come on, a man thoroughly humiliates you in the middle of the club (even Rourk thought so) and you both spew I hate you comments back & forth, and Dax & Gun snub her in front of club members and other Doms then why would you let the men continue to touch you, why would you keep putting yourself close to him/them to get more of the hate???? and yet at the first sign of trouble, she moves in with the twins after all the hate back and forth. Amy runs to Dax after a nightmare and even then he tells her to leave his room and go find Gun, so what does Amy do - crawls in bed with Dax.. Even at Quade's house for dinner, she didn't have to sit between them on the couch/at dinner table, she could have moved or said something to her parents and not put herself in more of the hate that was coming from Dax but nope sits there, runs outside and lets them give her an organism. then agreed to be their sub!
The author had to keep a thesaurus to use on this edition, she used enough big words that unless you are an English Major, some had to be looked up, the ones I did, were used out of context in her story. (i.e. talking about her nipples and they were described as having excessive fatness) really?
I did enjoy the fact that she didn't have any over the top punishments in this one, but at the same time she changed the other character's personalities and club rules. She let the other Sr Masters become soft whimps.... 1) subs don't approach Doms for a scene, yet over and over Amy approached the Doms to do a scene and was never punished, yet the one sub that approached Dax & Gun was given over to a Master for a harsh punishment 2) Subs aren't allowed to manipulate the Doms during the scenes, yet over and over Amy was able to manipulate and do what she wanted in the scenes and never punished, even when Dax & Gun had her in the one room, she talked her way out of the punishment, then threatened to call red if they ever touched her again. 3) When Rourk made his displeasure of the Humiliation that Dax did to Amy, he did nothing other than tell Dax to "fix it" oh and don't break the door down.
At the very end, where she is tied to the bed on the stage, a large square Iron cage with locked gate around the bed, how did he get it into the building without being seen? where was it hidden? how did he get it on the stage with no one seeing it right before a big production??? with so many of the crew and actors getting ready for a big production and the stalker brings in a big iron cage, builds it on the stage around the bed and NO ONE sees him??? How did the two Doms just Kick the gate in???
I have to give it a 2 because it was so choppy, holes in the sequence of the story, character changes, and club rules from past books changed... I was very disappointed and I had looked forward to reading this one, thinking it would be on a different level but it fell short. Spend a little more time and find a better way to bring them together smoothly from all the hate then move on with the story, would have made the book a lot better, but going from I hate you so violently - move in with them - to I love you within a few pages and find a way to make it believable that a big square cage just appears on the stage with no one seeing it just doesn't work for me.
Why do authors think that descriptive Torture belongs in a BDSM/romance story? The scene with the stalker & Jessica could have been written better without being so descriptive, and yet at the end of the book Jessica is at the club with a Dom?
People who read aren't stupid, yes its fantasy but if you are going to put the effort into writing a story, fill in the holes and make it enjoyable.
This really caught my attention and I was at end before I was expecting it. This book has a lot dangerous action and it is also quite steamy. The main submissive in the story has two Doms, not just one. It makes for extra steamy action that I am sure you will like a lot, just as I did. This is the last book of this series of eleven books and there is fine HEA. I am sure that you will enjoy it.
I have read the previous stories of this series and I hate to say this is my least favorite. The misunderstanding/miscommunication was totally over blown. The way she was treated by two well respected sons just did not jive....especially since she was a bit of a darling of the club.
What I disliked the most....I felt like a thesaurus was randomly used...I mean when you actually stop to look up a word it is going to take you out of the story.
What a rollercoaster ride of emotions...due to finishing all the Club Alpha Cove series. I have laughed, cried, thrown things at the wall an then sat back down again to carry on reading this series from book 1 to this one being book eleven. I have loved and hated these books at times but eventually falling to the pull of these wonderful characters with their new subs..I REALLY would entice you to give it a go from the first to the last in this series and enjoy their journeys...if you enjoy BDSM and all it entails this is for you. I just loved them.
In this last installment of the Alpha Cove Series, Dax and Gunther Cutter had promised that they would be coming for Amelia (Amy) in six years after Quade , the twins' father and Maxine, Amy's mother were married. However many misunderstandings and hurt feelings and after the 1 year anniversary, the three face each once again. Oh, the feelings, scorching. Add a stalker or two into the mix and hold for the ride of your life!! Must Read!
I have enjoyed this series. Some stories more than others. But I’ve read them all and will again. I was kinda bummed that these 3 started out the way they did. I would have thought over the years they would have kept in touch better so that the night in question never would have happened. It got better at the end....but I did not like the twins behavior for a lot of this book.
Misunderstanding led to Amy, Dax and Gunther spending a year apart but will it be resolved? That misunderstanding turned a man into a stalker with no morals, what will come of his scheme? As the story unfolds, you will fell every emotion that Linzi brought to life in this story For Amy. As usual the characters are wonderful and fierce. There's mystery, heartache and laughter. Everything you need will be present as you're reading.
What's the old saying? Appearances are deceiving. Dax, Amelia and Gunther are products of deceptive appearances. It derails what could and should be a powerful dynamic between the three of them. When the truth finally is revealed it still takes time to build trust. However the love they have for each other overcomes all obstacles. Even a vicious sexual predator who has his sights set on Amelia.
Linzi Bassett pulls you in to this series and once my interest was peaked, I could not let go for the duration of the series! I never wanted these books to end!! Connections throughout each book are very deep and everything is intertwined perfectly throughout the entire series. I look forward to reading more of Linzi's work!
There is plenty of action and suspense throughout this book with some hot steamy sex included. I did not like the way the book was worded in many places. Over the top descriptive wording which just didn't fit with this type of story. It made the story false. Sorry. I loved all the other books in this series.
Dax and Gunther are finally at their wits end and Amy has no idea what's about to happen - when they finally realize that she's saved herself for them it's on.....
Loved every minute of this book, the drama, lust , the characters feel so real. This author knows how to pull her readers in. Exquisite read!!! I most certainly recommend the whole set of Alpha Cove.
Great end to Club Alpha Cove series so many up and downs in this series especially in forever sub very heartbreaking Worth reading the whole series of Club Alpha Cove a lot intense scenes
Wow I really hate that the series is over but I'm glad I've read them all! In this one there was no Syndicate but something more demented and sinister. The misunderstanding between Dax, Gunther, and Amy could have been resolved sooner but then we wouldn't have had this book. Linzi wrote this series so well you could feel every emotion in this book. Love, hate, fear, excitement, absolute joy, and the heat and chemistry between the 3 was through the roof! This is one series I have and will continue to recommend. It's one that I will have in paperback and read over and over. Now on to Club Wicked Cove!
